This is a country pub, and although we are passionate about our food, we stay loyal to the building’s roots and ensure it has the atmosphere we all relish from a pub.

    Excellent food and service as normal. Only downside was we were sitting in the family room, where we like to sit in the main part where there is windows.

    Great food , friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Pigs salad delicious , chicken supreme , and the Snickers desert was so so good !! I would definitely recommend.

    Beautiful place to stay. Odd noise in sauna disturbed my nights sleep unfortunately. Good is gorgeous but for someone with coeliac disease I felt the menu was very suboptimal and far more choice for my partner who could eat normally. So many foods can be gluten free now I can’t see why it is deemed ok to display thirty foods of which only 3 I could eat. Very expensive stay but worth it as a treat even if I think it could be done even better.

    I have always enjoyed coming to The Pigs, however I was slightly disappointed on this occasion. The service was very slow and it didn't seem overly busy. I also found the portion sizes for the meals were much smaller. This is such a shame as in the past I've always raved about how old The Pigs is.
