    Hate saying this as we love the Pigs, spa rooms are outstanding and the breakfast is without doubt the best. But our dinner experience was poor. Choice wasn’t great, and menu seemed almost identical to our last visit 2+ years ago. Lamb patty starters were just tasteless mush with a crunchy coating and half a teaspoon of pea puree smeared across the plate. Other starter was smoked mackerel pate, this was pretty good and very lemony. Mains - sweet potato & beet burger was inedible - hard and chewy. Hog roll was ok, pulled pork and black pudding lovely but the other pork was pretty tough. Ice sundae deserts were good and service was friendly and great.

    The Pigs food is absolutely spectacular and one of the best meals I’ve had for a while. The portions sizes are perfect and all the menu is incredible value for money. You couldn’t fault it and has become one of our favourite spots to dine and stay! All the staff are welcoming, warm and make you feel at home. Very attentive and nothing is too big of an ask. Overall, perfect!
