   Our waiter, Dan, was professional, courteous and efficient. Nice ambiance(albeit a little high on the decibel level), terrific food. It was a dining experience that will cause my wife and I to return. My only real complaint was the drink prices were out of line. $13.00 for a bourbon and ginger is over the top.

   We were sadly disappointed, as we had been here before and the food was excellent. Calamari and escargot were very good, but pecan crusted halibut was dry and flavorless and the papardelle was just awful. It seemed to us a likely function of inexperienced cooks, so we’d probably give them another chance later on. The server was nice and comped the pasta. The place is lovely, and they will hopefully get their bearings again soon.

   Service was excellent, drinks were delicious and our server Kelsey was very attentive. She was the best!! Only minor issue was the busser, too busy with his girlfriend to refill our waters and clear dishes that our poor waitress was running double duty. Otherwise, ambiance, music and everything else were perfect!!

    We had a delicious meal! The Calamari app was one of the best we’ve had. It was lightly floured and seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our waiter, Dan, was very attentive and fun! We can’t wait to return!

    Ate outdoors in lovely covered patio/garden area. Halibut was in tasty sauce but really a bit too dry/overcooked. Crab cakes were excellent. Server was friendly and efficient.

    Great atmosphere, nice ambiance under the tent. Started with onion soup, delicious. Then I had the pork osso bucco special with polenta, one of the best I ever had. Wife had chicken with brandy cream sauce, which she loved. Plenty big for leftovers. Wonderful duet playing contemporary music and you could hear the ocean waves. Service was very good, several young folks but all solid and friendly

    I orders the halibut and my husband the mahi mahi. Both meals were delicious. Dan was our server and he was friendly, prompt, and helpful. Very happy!

    Food was very good, but, not thrilled with the rest of “package” for the price. Meaning, presentation- ambiance- service- organization. All need enhancing to become my go to place. I would eat there again but not before seeing what else is down the road first. Again, food quality and flavor was very good.

    Service staff was pleasant and professional. The facility was clean, with nice table settings. Appetizers: Escargot- I’ve had better escargot from Kings frozen food section. Beet salad - had to hunt to find pieces of beet. Main Course: Special Rigatoni in vodka sauce, topped with crab meat - Lacked flavor, watery sauce, pasta was not a consistent temperature giving the impression a microwave was used to heat the pasta. Crab meat was plentiful.

    Food very good but entrees way overpriced. Crab cakes MP $48! Insane! Salmon with spinach, mushrooms and rice delicious and good portion but $35 a bit high. Brussels sprouts appetizer excellent and well priced at $9.00. Desserts a disaster for those with any allergies- beware. Hostess and asst manager lousy attitudes. Very young, some untrained waitstaff - who stood much too close, especially during a pandemic. Made us very uncomfortable. For the last reason especially would not return.

    We had a very nice evening and meal. First time for us a Pier House since it was rebuilt a few years back. The food was good, but not fabulous. The halibut was good, but a little overcooked. Biscotti for dessert was a generic biscotti, not a special one from a special bakery. Coffees were very good. Service was excellent by Gabrielle and others. Eating outdoors was lovely. I will return.

    We were a party of 4 and everyone was extremely happy with their choices. My husband had mahi I had salmon and the other 2 in our party had haddovk and the chicken and mushroom. We really enjoyed the music and the singer was outstanding! We loved eating outside on the patio. We'll definitely be back.

    Came on a September Saturday. Reservations are recommended. We sat outside as the weather was beautiful and enjoyed some live music as well. Inside seemed a bit noisy. We all enjoyed our meals, the rib eye, pappardelle and salmon. We were disappointed that they were out of the halibut which was what attracted us to this restaurant. It is a regular menu item and it was only 6:45. Other than that service was great.

    We had not been to the Pier House in years and it was good to return. Unfortunately, we had two table that I think were in competition with each other because the noise level was horrible. Our waitress was outstanding. I did not care for the first glass of wine I received and she said not problem. We talked about what I liked and she brought me the perfect wine. I got the chicken dinner which was unbelievable in size and the taste was delicious.

    Food was very good. Service was poor, but probably not our server's fault. We dined outside and he was responsible for tables inside and outside. Outside diners were an "afterthought" . Management should rethink this assignment.

    We were there for a pre-theatre dinner. The staff was courteous, attentive and mindful of our time restriction. The onion soup was perfect for a rainy evening! You are my favorite restaurant in Cape May! On a previous occasion, I enjoyed the escargot. They are delicious! Please keep them on your menu!

    Beet salad, Cesar salad & halibut were good. Salmon could've used a bit more sauce. Service was attentive but a bit rushed. One suggestion - if 6yr pour & 12 yr pour are they same price, let the customer know & give them the choice.
