   Was very disappointed to be honest after a great recommendation. Table was grimmy. Menus were ripped and torn . Food was way overpriced .I would personally go elsewhere ..they need to come back to reality it's a pub not a fancy reataurant. Trying to be fancy and clearly overated pricing and quality .2 drinks $25 ( coke and a beer) pizza was soggy and undercooked ..will not be back

   2 Diners - Unfortunately the food did not arrive at same time (we have no problem if not exactly same time ) but one diner completely finished food before the next meal ( Pizza) arrived which the entire base was badly burnt. Did bring this to the hotels attention and after someone ( seemed like it may have been someone associated with the hotel but they did not identify themselves)initially stating that this is how the base should be ( it was black) they did offer to remake but as the wait had already been so long we declined. Whilst my husband was reporting this another diner overhead & also stated that their pizza was also burnt . Please note we dined there 2 nights prior to this and the Pizza was great. Eventually a Manager did come to the table and asked how the meal was and we explained the problem and we were offered a compensatory drink ( which we declined) - the disappointment was the response when we initially reported the problem.

   Fantastic atmosphere with a good crowd who was well behaved and the staff were fantastic and the owners were milling with the crowd sitting at the tables chatting so beautifull old fashioned service with a smile and sense of humour We even scored a Tonic Chardonnay from him Great night all round and lovely balloons around to give the festive spirit Thanks and we have now celebrated here 2 times , once in 2020 and now this year and we will absolutely return again Bettina

   My partner and I were a little bit disappointed in our main meals. I ordered the butter chicken burger and my partner ordered the lamb Morrison salad. The only thing wrong was the meat, very over cooked. I had to take most of my chicken out of my burger as it was very stringy and tough. We had salt and Peter squid for an entree and this was absolutely delicious! We are locals and usually love the pier food but this time was pretty dissatisfied with the mains.

   The staff were amazing, the food was delicious. They surprised me by singing 🎵 happy birthday bringing out my desert with a candle and playing a tambourine and whistle🤩the whole experience was impressive ❤️
