The Pickled Sprout consists of a dog-friendly bar area, dog-free dining area, hallway tables, garden room, balcony seating, private dining rooms, outside seating and room service for The Yorkshire hotel residents.

Overall great evening, however, had an extra bottle of wine added to our bill and had a wrong dish, despite the correct order being taken. By the time the correct order arrived, we didnt feel hungry as everyone else had finished their meal.

Really lovely restaurant with lovely decor and great ambiance. The tables were well spaced out and the seating really comfortable. The food was excellent and the service quick and friendly

Had the best Sunday roast ever at the Pickled Sprout. To start with we had a reservation at 17:00. Despite being extremely busy the Manager pulled some strings and got us in 2 hours early. Order was taken in a timely manner. Food and drink arrived in good time. Food was plentiful and everything was very tasty and I've never had a yorkshire pudding that nice. Prices are good and it is very refreshing to see that no service charge was added to the bill. I asked the Manager why and she said we believe in leaving it to the customer to decide whether the service should be rewarded. Staff were lovely , friendly and attentive.

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the Pickled Sprout. There were 4 very clean plates - we couldn’t fault it. The quality of the food was excellent and great value as well. Staff were also really friendly. We’ll be back!

Everything from ordering drinks to menu went well but an order was missed off and we had to mention it twice. The reaction was good but we still had to remind the waiting staff.
