   Another very tasty meal. Son in law keeps going on about the katsu scotch egg! Steaks were very nice. I had the chicken with truffle. Others had the sea bass and risotto. Good menu plus a couple of specials. Servers are lovely and they make us feel welcome with a baby and a dog. (He gets water and treats straight away!)

   We had the perfect start to our Easter break at The Pickled Herring - what a find! Delicious steak with risotto and chicken with truffle sauce, and seated at a quiet corner table in the sun after a long train journey. Excellent food, service and atmosphere - highly recommend visiting for lunch or dinner.

   We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch at The Pickled Herring today and will definitely be back soon. High-quality ingredients, well cooked, and they don't skimp on the portions either! Service was cheery, relaxed and efficient, with the general attitude that nothing was too much trouble. A proper little gem in Broadstairs and well worth a visit; hope it goes from strength to strength.

   What a find! Exceptional food, atmosphere and service. All of us loved our meals and would definately return. Cannot fault anything. Fabulous. And a big thanks for my daughters birthday decorations, so thoughtful and much appreciated.
