Very good food, relaxed atmosphere. Good for families
Food was good and abundant. Server was very polite and efficient. I thought the chair was unusually comfortable and I liked all the big windows with views of the golf course.
Dueling pianos way too loud....could not enjoy the meal
Exceptional service, value and delicious food! The Tavern did not disappoint with their great happy hour margaritas and fried pickles! Even with their vegetarian black bean burger was flavorful and filling. We will be returning there again!
We loved it and will be back. Great food, service, and entertainment.
Had the Players Club Sandwich and it was amazing. Good quality chicken. Sent back the parmesan garlic fries which the server said was their most popular side. Maybe it was because they weren't very busy, but the fries were cold and hard. Had a side salad instead. My husband enjoyed his Smokehouse Burger with tater tots. Said it was well worth the price. Super great service - when I sent back the fries, he came back and said they'd appreciate feedback so they can do better next time.
Very good dinner with the kids!
This place was Rockin. Conga line which included nearly the entire restaurant. Piano entertainment was excellent and got the whole place involved.
Absolutely delicious! My husband thinks the sweet potato fries are the best he's ever had. My burger was absolutely perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. Beautiful venue and superb service. Looking forward to returning soon.
Dialing pianos on Saturday nights is great fun!! Can’t wait to return!
Our server “Gabe” was awesome!
My wife’s Cobb salad was awesome and my burger was perfect!
Lilly, our server, was professional yet very friendly and attentive.
65 minute wait for food, with no follow up from Server or apology from management. Food arrived cold and tasteless.
Good food, service and ambiance!
We were here while on vacation in Scottsdale. Met with an old friend for lunch and it was a great setting. Faces golf course from above and is quiet enough for good conversation. Food was delicious and very nicely presented. We had sandwiches and salads. Waitress allowed us to set the pace and was still attentive. For being part of a luxury hotel the prices were moderate. I'd certainly revisit.
Great service, great food and great setting. Great option for locals to meet for dinner, easy in and ample parking.
Little pricey for hamburger, but it was outstanding! Will return in the future! The ambience was great overlooking Phoenician golf course! Service was great! I love a gourmet hamburger!
great service and the staff is so friendly. Great musicians playing, the main reason we came and we stayed their entire set for 3 hours! Matt and Carl rock!!!
This is the dining establishment at the Phoenician Golf Club. While it is good for that purpose it is not a destination dining spot. The food and service are acceptable for a golf destination but not the place you would take the family for a casual dinner. It is a small space and the dueling pianos are so loud that you cannot carry on a conversation at your table. Prices are very high for the area even for a resort. (8 dollars for a Bud Light). Many better options in the area.
The setting of the Phoenician is breath-taking, so a visit to any of its restaurants is a treat. We valet-parked and, after a self-guided tour of the beautiful cactus garden, were taken to the Tavern by golf cart. Our server, Cameron, was attentive and friendly. We had the crab roll, salmon sandwich, and patty melt - all excellent choices. Although we came at dusk, I would recommend getting there earlier so that the grounds can be appreciated. (Fortunately, we've been there before.)
We reserved outdoor seating made reservation month in advance got there told it would be an hour wait for outdoor seating. They are good at taking reservations not good at keeping them
We came for the piano entertainment. Did not plan tostay the entire time but they were so good we did. Drinks were great, good beer selection. Friendly service.
We had planned to visit the tavern a couple times before and when we saw it had reopened, we visited. We were hoping to sit on the patio and enjoy food and the view of the golf course. The problem was the noise. There was a charity event and the patio and bar with people in chairs and standing and talking very loud. We ordered drinks but decided to leave because it was impossible for us to talk to each other.
It might be a good idea in the future to block out the reservations when an event such as this is going on. We were very disappointed
Lots of kids.
Long wait for food and food had uneven quality.
TRULY AVOID THIS PLACE - on a Sunday night at 6:45 we waited for our booked reservation more than 15 minutes - then when we got our table the table next to us needed to borrow our ketchup - since they could not get a waiter to bring them a filled ketchup bottle- a bad sign - and then we waited over an hour to hear our food - which consisted of a hamburger and fish and chips - not very complex - SHOULD be out soon - but never arrived - probably the most UNPLEASANT dining experience EVER - we finally left - had to go to Wendy’s drive thru to eat something - a SAD SAD SAD statement on the Phoenician resort dining - your restaurants should be quality restaurants - if you are a world class resort - The Phoenician management should truly be ashamed !!!!!
Great value offering in Phoenician resort
We have been there many times and will go back, but not on Saturday night with "dueling pianos". The service was first rate and the food was good but the noise level made it impossible to hear. So for a dining experience that you want lower noise come on another night.
Was a regular customer at Relish. Staff was attentive, the ambiance was nice, food was excellent. With the renovation and rebrand to Phoenician Tavern - they opted for uncomfortable/inexpensive furniture, boring/neutral design, and removal of all character that Relish had. Relish could have used a refresh, but they closed the restaurant in peak season, spent on renovation, and somehow made it worse.
Looks like a cafeteria on a Disney Cruise; very disappointing. Also, out of corned beef and cabbage at 6:30 p.m. on St. Patrick' s Day. Far below Phoenecian standards!
Went because food was very good, expensive but very good before they closed to update the restaurant. Also because they advertised specials for St. Patrick’s Day. Turned out it was only Guinness. Food was blah. Couldn’t tell any difference in layout or decor. And service was really really slow, especially considering they seemed well-staffed. Won’t go back again... they shouldn’t have changed anything.
Our server ,Raul, was great and made good suggestions.
