   The Pheasant excels at producing high quality, tasty, and different food. Their Sunday lunch is a classic delight and you know that you will always be delighted. We travel 40 minutes to eat there and always look forward to the journey.

   Some excellent dishes and some that lack flavour. Service is very personable and friendly - country pub feel. Relaxed and easy vibe - not noisy. A good night out to chill. Some good wines

   Food was absolutely amazing. We were a party of 9 and we all very much enjoyed the meal.. The staff were also amazing and very helpful. We will definitely be going back again.

   The Pheasant at Keyston was absolutely gorgeous. It was our first visit after being recommended, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is stunning, a lovely country pub surrounded by countryside with wonderful views. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly, ensuring we were comfortable and had what we needed. The food was truly fantastic - we had the rump of lamb and the pork tenderloin as mains, and the lemon polenta cake and the vanilla cheesecake with rosehip jelly and apricot (from the specials board) for dessert. I cannot recommend The Pheasant at Keyston enough and we will absolutely be returning!

   Had the most delicious pork dish at The Pheasant recently. Really well thought out, balanced flavours. Service a bit hit and miss but willing.

   Lovely location, good food. Particularly impressed by egg free menu and a dairy free menu. These were slight variants of the main menu and my wife felt included rather than an excluded diner as is often the case. We both loved it. Will return.

    The Pheasant is located in the quaint village of Keyston. The pub has a large car park at the rear and plenty of space for outside dining. We ate in the bar area where it was fairly quiet. We were shown to our table by a lovely, friendly young lady. Service was prompt. My wife had the Stone Bass and I ordered the Sirloin Steak with peppercorn sauce. Both meals were nicely presented and delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection and the peppercorn sauce certainly packed a punch. We shared a tasty dessert. Price wise The Pheasant is more of a special treat rather than a regular occasion but, nonetheless, was good value for money.
