Cosy and intimate casual fine dining restaurant, serving up superb local produce, fine wines, cocktails and delivering great service.

Based on Saltaire's bustling main road, it's at the heart of this World Heritage site.

Please note, due to the type of building, we are limited with disabled access. We can offer access on the main floor, but our toilet facilities are located on the first floor.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly knowledgeable staff and the most excellent food. My family were visiting from Manchester ‘ said best steak they had ever had. Also the best gluten free bread ever! Wil definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.

I went on a Thursday night with a friend so we had the early bird 3 courses and it was delicious. The service was very good and we really enjoyed our evening. The food is a bit more expensive than the average places, we however thought it was valid for money and would definitely go again. I especially enjoyed the start of black cod cake with crispy egg.

As always, the food was brilliant. The portions don't look large but were surprisingly filling. However, I did manage to have 3 courses! The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. I had the vegetarian options and my friends had fish or meat dishes. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly. My only slight criticism is that there is usually only one vegetarian main course option; however, as the menu changes every 2 months, unless you eat there several times a month (I wish!), you do get different choices throughout the year.

Excellent quality food. The steaks are always perfect and the service is relaxed and informal. A real local gem - our favourite restaurant. The only area where they could improve is by having more of a selection of deserts and possibly a local cheeseboard as an extra.

If you want a memorable meal look no further, feel lucky to have such an amazing 5 star restaurant on my door step. The food never disappoints, you might question the menu ‘basil ice cream’ but it won’t disappoint - utterly amazing food with service to match The menu changes every month, so there’s always something new and quirky to try! Enjoy ☺️

Second time at the Pepper Mill - came for Sunday lunch this time. Food and service was great. Plan to try the brunch next time.
