THE PENTHOUSE at The Huntley Hotel, a breathtaking restaurant and ultra lounge, with beach cabanas, open skies, silver bars, and open flames. Famed designer Thomas Schoos (best known for his work on restaurants such as Koi and TAO New York/Las Vegas) has teamed up with executive chef Alex Manos, to manifest a new visual celebration of the senses. The Penthouse features a Meditarrenean menu with Greek influences. Chef Manos who draws inspiration from Greece and the Mediterranean Islands presents a menu utilizing seasonal ingredients sourced from the Santa Monica farmers markets combined with unique ingredients from across the globe. This innovative menu includes dishes such as Shrimp Saganaki, Hokkaido Scallops, Dover Sole, Baked Feta, and Premium Angus Beef. Available for private events.

It was really wonderful place to celebrate any occasion . The view from the restaurant dramatic and spectacular. Service is on the top, food is very testy with quite big portions. And Host Ben was So kind .
Short- try this place for sure . Its not even pricey

We love this place. The menu is really creative, and updated regularly. The ambiance is beautiful, and the restaurant is laid out such that you can feel the great energy, but you can still have a normal conversation. And, when we're done with dinner, we love to dance in the bar for a while. We've never had a bad time.

GREAT place for brunch! We went on a Saturday at 11am and the place was full already. Food was amazing, prices are a little expensive but not bad considering how upscale it was and totally worth it for the view!

The Penthouse has been one of our favorite dining spots in LA. We are especially inclined to take out of town guests there to knock their socks off. The ambience is spectacular. The view takes one's breath away and the decor is so stuning. And, to top it off the food continues to be top notch. In writing this I've convinced myself that my wife and I need to go back ASAP just for ourselves.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! I wanted brunch with great views and I got more than I asked for. The views were breathtaking. The food was absolutely delicious. I got a waffle with cheese eggs and my boyfriend got banana French toast with bacon. Everything was PERFECT. Especially the BACON!! You MUST get the bacon! It was quite possibly the most perfect bacon I’ve ever tasted. No oil at all. Just think sliced, crispy perfection. Don’t miss out. Also, bottomless mimosas. Nuff said.

I did make reservations and I recommend you do as well. You’ll get a better table view wise.

Pro Tip: I’m sure dinner is awesome but if it’s your first time, come during the day or before sunset! The view is to die for.

We normally like the Penthouse for wknd breakfast/brunch but the service was awful this weekend. Literally had to get up to find our server twice! Food fine & view is great but the service was embarrassingly bad...we’ll be taking it off our go-to list.

Food is absolutely delicious. Very interesting preparations. The wild mushroom pizzetta was one of the best ever. Scallops were served with tiny ravioli. Don't go on the weekend if you don't like a very crowded bar and lots of noise.

Had never been and took a friend midweek to lunch to celebrate her birthday. We had great service, the 3 course meal was delicious and the views were beautiful on a warm sunny day. It was very relaxing and enjoyable, we didn’t feel rushed in any way and conversation was pleasant since it wasn’t loud and noisy at all.

Loved every minute here! In the past, I had only been for drinks during happy hour. This time, I took a friend for lunch to celebrate her birthday and it’s a much quieter vibe during the day, which I loved. Excellent service, the food was delicious, and of course, the views are incredible.

We made booking through open table for 12 and still had to wait for 2 hrs to get a table. We wanted the booth do they said we would have to wait. But people who cake after us got a booth table before us and even finished their food before we could get a table. It was a very bitter experience and the people there were not polite as well. They say they have a rule of 2 hours for a party of 4 but when asked they said they don’t follow it. You should not be saying that you have such a rule if you don’t intend to follow it. Very disappointed

We were hoping for a nice dinner on a Saturday night for my birthday. We did get a table near the window which was nice. However the tables are so squished in that the waiters could barely get to us. The noise level was out if this world loud. We heard all about the relationship problems of the man next to us and almost got our table knocked over when the couple on the other side got up to leave. The service was not what I expected from an upscale restaurant. We did not see our waiter after we ordered. He did not come by to see how things were tasting or if we wanted a second drink. Our appetizer of shrimp saganaki was delicious. Strangely, the main course arrived and all the dishes were still on the table which made things quite awkward as the waiter searched for a place to put down the food in order to clear our table. I’ve never seen this done in a classy restaurant. They seemed to be disorganized and perhaps understaffed. My husband had the ribeye was adequate. I would not recommend the lobster ravioli however. The pasta was perfectly cooked and tender but the sauce ruined the dish as it was a dark brown and overly rich and did not pair well. The presentation was not appetizing all squashed into a bowl. I did not eat the meal and I was never asked if it was good. We did not wish to stay for desert as the service was definitely lacking. However, we received a deduction on the total of our bill because of this which was very much appreciated. I think this restaurant is better suited for large groups as it is a lively party atmosphere.

We went on Valentine’s Day. It was pre-paid prefix menu for the holiday. They extremely oversold the seating. We waited right around an hour for our table. Not exaggerating, reservations were at 9 seated just before 10.

They were kind enough to give us champagne while we waited, but they also said it would be around 20-25 minutes of a delay. People were lined up like cattle around the host station due to the delay in seating creating a chaotic and extremely loud environment on a romantic night.

The valet was at capacity so we could not park at the venue itself either.

Half of the food was fantastic the other half that we had was not worth the price point.

Elizabeth our server was fantastic especially for how slammed she was. Overall I would try the restaurant again but never on a holiday or with a pre-fix menu. The management should not have over sold the seating like they did. I’m totally cool with a 20-30 minute wait but an hour dampened the night for a bit unfortunately.

The view alone is totally worth a visit, but the food and service match up perfectly.
The beet salad here is outstanding in both taste and appearance. The king salmon was beautifully prepared and the Wagyu burger was cooked exactly as ordered. The Brazilia dessert was deeply, darkly chocolate.
This is a favorite spot.

Andres-from the very start rushed our brunch. He rushed us ordering our drinks, appetizers, food- didn't give us a moment to actually enjoy one another's company. We were seated around 12:20 and by 1:20 we were done with our meal. This brunch was for my 30th birthday, there were 6 of us, it was family that I hadn't seen for weeks because I was out of the country and I had just gotten back from Spain. He did not let us enjoy anything about the penthouse and it's beautiful ambiance.

All Andres did was try to run up the tab and bullied me into ordering excessively. I told him I'll order entrees family style and for a party of 6, I ordered 9 entrees, not including the 7 baked goods when we first sat down.

Andres kept insisting on how good the steak and eggs are, but let me tell you--the brunch menu doesn't have freaking steak and eggs!!! He overwhelmed me so much and bullied me that I said okay. Once the bill came, I saw he charged the steak separately and the eggs separately. $8 for eggs that I didn't even want! The eggs got thrown away at the end! This was completely misleading and it was fraudulent! His actions were deceiving and he acted this way to run up the tab so the 20% service charge can be higher. I'm not stupid and I called him out on it, even though he apologized, he continued doing it.

Once home, we called the restaurant, spoke to the manager-Brad who completely denied my experience and ultimately said, I shouldn't have agreed in ordering that much and I should have said no to the steak and eggs. Did not take responsibility for the poor experience and basically refunded the service charge to shut us up!

Sorry Brad for not causing a scene and putting your snake of a waiter in his place! I’ve been raised to keep complaints at a minimum in front of guests.

My advice-if Andres is your waiter, ask for a new waiter because he's a snake! He will do anything to run that tab up, especially when tip is automatic for parties of 6 and more.

Incredible service accompanied by outstanding food. From start to finish, our server, Andres, was attentive, humorous, and offered wonderful suggestions. The manager printed details for a restaurant recommendation - in years of business travel, I've never experienced more attentive service.
If you want an amazing meal and outstanding service, then you need to come here.

BEAUTIFUL view!! Excellent food. Perfect service. Took my mom there for lunch. Can’t wait to go back!! Highly recommend. Slightly pricey, and I thought “fine, for the view”. But it was actually great value by the time the food was so good. Beet totellini with mushroom, fava beans, macadamia and parmesan. And the “grilled cheese” was fantastic with excellent roast plus cheese.

Our individual server was very accommodating but overall service was painfully slow. Table adjacent to us was conducting business meeting at obnoxious volume. We love the hotel but will dine elsewhere in future.

We enjoyed the prix fixe menu and the selection choices were delectable. I ordered the seabass with a crispy skin, which was moist and delicious. The views are amazing. Beautiful ambiance, great service and delicious food. The perfect dinning experience.

The penthouse has a classy and chill vibe.
My friends and I were looking for an elegant spot to celebrate a birthday and that's just what we got. The food was great too with appropriate portions to keep you satisfied.
