Wednesday 25th June 2025 Bold / Turkish / Vibrant Selin Kiazim is a British chef of Turkish Cypriot heritage who is best-known for her bold take on Turkish food. Her journey started in the kitchens of her Turkish-Cypriot mother and grandmother and eventually led to her much-lauded London restaurant Oklava (2015–2023). After moving to the Netherlands in 2020, she opened her latest restaurant, Esra, in December of last year in Amsterdam’s Eastern Docklands. Here, she cooks what she feels like — food that is sometimes Turkish, but always full of flavour and Mediterranean generosity. Menu Coming Soon

Incredible opening night feast @ Peli House Party 2024 prepared by Nieves Barragan Mohacho of Sabor, with support from fab Peli events and chef/restaurant team. Top tunes too

A beautiful setting. Lovely concept. Patchy service. Welcome drink didn’t materialise. Run out of potato salad. No alternative offered. Teriyaki salmon, no teriyaki? Chef forgot. Offered another. Fish piled on top of meat? Not best idea. Sweet staff but bit slow on drinks etc. really pretty courtyard. Beautifully set out.
