We were seated outside, quite a distance from the restaurant (in front of Heron). Couldn't walk through the covered area to get to our table due to the area being overcrowded so the hostess led us around to the end and had us walk thru a flower bed (in the dirt and mulch). The 2 rear legs of my chair were in the flower bed and a tree branch was touching my head all evening.

After reading these glowing reviews, we made a reservation for lunch before a show at the Amalie. The atmosphere was pleasant, and everything seemed great initially, but unfortunately, service declined rapidly. Our appetizer order was never received, however our entrees arrived quickly, but sadly incomplete. To get condiments, we flagged down another server who explained that they were slammed. Only one of our two ordered glasses of bubbly arrived, and a cocktail never made it. Once our order was placed we didn't see our server again until the bill arrived. I won’t be back in a hurry.

Not what I expected based on the reviews being so good. The food was not good, so I ordered the favorites that most people mentioned in the reviews. The jalapeno cornbread and Thai mussels. The cornbread was not done and soggy in the middle, the mussels were the worst that I have had at a restaurant. They were mostly shells and the mussels shrunk down so small, like to a penny size, the Thai curry sauce was too sweet. My husband got the braised short rib, it was very fatty and very small. We were still hungry at the end of the meal and I had to order their wings to get full. The wings were not good either, blain no seasoning. And the wine we ordered, was terrible, my husband said it was the worst wine he had drank and left half the glass. It was a malbec. Unfortunately, I did not want to leave such a poor review but after paying $168, I should have at least left content, Our server was good, but I think the place was way too busy and they could not keep up with the quality of the food.

Had a fantastic time! Dinner was impeccable 👌 the pork piri and short rib was excellent! And the service was absolutely fantastic as well, Desiree was great!

Another great meal at The Pearl - thank you! Started with Devils on Horseback and some Jalapeño Cornbread…delicious…followed by crispy chicken sandwich and grilled cheese…yum!

David was our server and was absolutely awesome. We had a short quick visit as we were heading to a lightning game. We were checked on frequently and given recommendations for the menu. The atmosphere was wonderful. Will be back on our next visit!

Very nice dining experience. Staff and our server specifically Desiree were great. We had excellent clam chowder, ceaser salad, deviled eggs, and Cuban sandwich. All were good.

The crispy chicken sandwich was soggy, not crispy at all. The bun was much bigger then the sandwich. The chicken itself was very thin and doused in way too much sauce. The only highlight were the fried pickles, which were amazing. Service was friendly. Overall food quality of all entrees was sloppy.

Exceptional! The restaurant is gorgeous. We did, however, choose to enjoy dinner outside in the beautifully designed outdoor space. The ambience and elegant surroundings simply heightened our already amazing experience thanks to a terrific menu and simply top-notch service, even dining outside. If you’re in for a splurge, do not miss the seafood tower. We will be recommending this restaurant to all of our friends.

Our waitress overcharged us for wine, we asked her to adjust it. She told her manager that we didn't want to pay for the wine. The Manager came over and his first statement to us was "so I hear you don't want to pay for your wine" we explained that the waitress charged us for the 9oz and not the 6oz and we asked for a price adjustment. He understood once we talked with him. But, not the best way to approach a customer. The waitress was very hostile after that. The food was bland and underwhelming. The waitress forgot to put in the order for an appetizer. Then the frustration with tipping when they give you three options at 20, 22, and 25%. Just leave that off, everyone can tip what they want and what level of service is provided. And Yes I was a server when I was younger, but that doesn't mean that 20% is your expected tip amount.

I’ve enjoyed The Pearl a few times now. The service is always excellent and last night was no exception. Our server was Stacey. She was on point. I certainly cannot remember the nuances and details of every plate and drink. Frankly, Stacey was impressive! The seafood is great and they are one of few places in town that have fresh Blue Point oysters and oysters from PEI. During my most recent visit, I ordered the shrimp as a starter as well as fried pickles. Both were exciting! I ordered the skirt stake as my main. It was a little spicy for my palate but I was happy with the overall plate. I recommend the seasonal old fashioned. I appreciated that it was less smoky (some places over do the smoky component) and a tad bit sweeter than a traditional old fashioned. The only thing that was challenging is that it can get a little bit loud when it’s busy, but that is overshadowed by The Pearl’s strengths. It’s one of the few places where I’m a repeat customer.

I had an okay experience. Texas Roadhouse steaks are much better, half shell oysters were below average.. Fried oysters were great, but you only get 3. The old fashion tasted like a pre-mix blend you can get at the ABC. Prices were high for the quality if food. Great atmosphere and location… would prolly only go back for apps and beers/neat drinks.

Our server was absolutely the best! Great recommendations and was very attentive. However for a Monday night, our Artic Char came out way over cooked and everything else we ordered was just… unremarkable. The oysters were mediocre and the beet salad was an odd mixture of veg drenched in buttermilk. While we were within vision of the hostess, she failed to come get us at the bar for 20+ minutes because we didn’t see a “text”. Our server exemplifies excellent hospitality, but the rest of the staff does not. Great spot for a quick happy hour drink for ambiance but definitely not worth food. Wouldn’t recommend to others.

I always get sat by the kitchen. Asked for another table and it was not possible. The Arctic Char was not good. Lots of capers so you really have to like capers and the fish was dry. Fried chicken was not very good. Manager wanted to help but it just looked burnt and lacked something. Cream corn was delicious. I don’t know what the hype is all about with this restaurant. Manager was really nice and brought another piece of chicken and offered to give me something else but I didn’t want the hassle. Someone else at my table liked it but I didn’t.

Great location and nice brunch selection. Excellent bar staff. Smoked salmon is really good. Get a piece of pie for dessert. Its worth the calories. Nice outside seating. Service outside is a little slow. Highly recommend The Pearl for drinks or a meal.

Enjoyed our meal last night! Oysters for appetizers were awesome especially the fried oysters! Had the fried chicken and cinnamon bun which is their take on chicken and waffles! So good. Wife had special which was snapper! It was slightly over cooked but still good flavor. To full for dessert
