   Love the vibe at The Pearl. The food is terrific and the drinks perfect. The only slight negative is that the waiter was clearly overwhelmed with the crowd. Perhaps they are short staffed, which led to a bit of a wait for initial service as well as receiving our drinks. Even with that slight negative, I will definitely return!

   This was our second time at The Pearl. Maybe my expectations were too high for a second visit. We really enjoyed our first stop in. This go around, not as great. Service was fair. Took a while to get drinks. The cornbread dish was outstanding. All the other orders we had were just fair. The kimchi fried rice and hangar steak was disappointing.

   Baked oysters were soggy. The sauce for the shrimp overwhelmed the grits resulting in a soupy consistency. Also, shrimp were spicy but not flavorful. The restaurant comped the oysters without my asking.

   We arrived a few minutes early and the hostess sat us down quickly. Location of our table and the ambiance were very good although music did not fit the vibe and too loud. We still gave it a chance. And although the restaurant was not very busy, getting the attention of our server was very challenging. We ordered muscles and devilled eggs, both were sent back. Muscles were slimey and the taste was quite questionable. Devilled eggs were loaded with Miracle Whip and again sent back. Maybe a bad day at the restaurant???

   We arrived early to enjoy happy hour and then enjoyed a leisurely dinner. Alex our server had great suggestions and great explanations of each dish we asked about. Alex was attentive without being intrusive and our overall experience was great.

   The only good thing about our experience was our server. He was clearly overwhelmed and also let us know he’s going through a tough time so we were not upset with him at all. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, he ordered a well done steak. The middle of the steak was bloody. It was redone and sent back completely burnt. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was the most flavorless sandwich I’ve ever had. Our total would have been about $150 if they didn’t comp our meals. Never coming back here again

   Love the Pearl for Easter brunch! The kids can get plain pancakes, and the adults can get Shrimp and grits and other delights. The citrus salad, deviled eggs, and cinnamon roll were all fabulous. Service was excellent. Overall, a great experience.

   The appetizers, soups, salads and cocktails were all outstanding! Love the fun zero-proof cocktail options.

    As usual, the food was outstanding I had the fish and chips, and it is sincerely the best I've ever had. My guest enjoyed the clam chowder, his go-to for each visit. We visit weekly and have never been disappointed.
