The Pearl - Beckenham
Lovely restaurant with very attentive service and great food. Also due to current restrictions, it's great they have heaters as well as blankets. Only drawback is that it's a bit pricey!
Very very good.
Food and service
Mitch and Danielle from Croydon
Good service, good food
Had the best time! Cocktails were amazing & Atmosphere was great considering it’s just opened after lockdown! Would definitely recommend 👌
Always such a pleasure to eat at The Pearl. Beautiful food and dining experience. The service is wonderful. Thank you :)
First class food, great service albeit a bit expensive.
We was looked after from the moment we arrived at the restaurant to the moment we left .... Definitely be returning
A really wonderful memory. Thank you Pearl for fantastic food, drink and sunshine!!!
Food was not as advertised on menu. Food was overcooked.
Extremely expensive for the quality of the food.
Disappointed the set menu was not available despite this being on the website.
Having to purchase sides to add to your main is a practise in central London or Michelin star restaurants. Therefore the average per person is around £50-£60 for lunch which I believe is extortionate for lunch in the area. This is for a starter, shared full bottle of wine, and a side to go with the made unless you have the pasta dish!
Felt cheated about the set menu not being present. Once in the restaurant it’s embarrassing to leave at this point. Especially when looking forward to getting out when restrictions have been lifted. I understand restaurants need to make up lost income but they need to be honest to avoid people like myself not wanting to go there again despite it being my favourite place previously.
For the price I thought it was rather uninspiring. We had starter, pasta main course and a bottle of inexpensive wine and was well over £100.....
This excellent restaurant is fast becoming a favourite. Excellent choice of meat or fish. The quality of fish is very good and the portions generous.
Staff are very friendly , decor very stylish.
Pretty good value
I can't really fault it.
Lovely meal for my birthday would go again . Do visit
Very enjoyable. Reasonable portions. Good flavours. Polite and helpful staff. Lovely ambiance. Thank you
The food is amazing, the staff is very respectful, the venue looks very nice .I will definitely recommend it .
Amazing service and the food delicious.
Had a lovely meal, food was delicious and service was great! Will most certainly be returning. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully with a lovely ambience.
Excellent food, only moan very load.
I love this restaurant. Food is delicious and service is top notch!
Been here a few times now also when it was sea salt and have had a great experience each time . Great food very polite and friendly staff . The decor is great would definitely recommend
Went here for my daughter’s birthday, staff were amazing. Just thought food was a bit expensive.
Such nice f
We went there for a Friday evening dinner. Service was good. We all had Sirloin steak. My boyfriend's steak was basically raw and was mostly the fatty bit. He should have sent it back but he didn't out of politeness. Our fault, sure. My steak was a tad above average. Our guest said their food was fine, not what we expected for the price. Ambience is good which must be the only reason why people go here. We paid a staggering £340 for a three course meal for 4 people with 3 bottles of average wine. Despite the average nature of it all, I get that we ate a lot, but the price yikesss!!! At £85 a head, I would expect more bang (or better quality food) for my buck! Go here if you don't care about how much you spend, don't expect to be blown away by the food.
Greet evening!! Really nice food and decor and service. Would definitely revommend
Very attentive friendly service. My sea bass was perfect. Lovely ambience - all round a lovely evening
Had a really nice evening. Had been before the refubishnent when it was sea salt and enjoyed the food then but now it’s so modern inside we loved it and the food was great . Staff very attentive and polite will definitely be going again
Very welcoming and lovely food. Fish was slightly overcooked, but flavoursome. Portions are generous too! Definitely coming back!
Absolutely delicious seafood and roast beef. Excellent service.
Great place, West End style service in souff London.
For starters you had more waiting staff than customers, yet when we ordered our drinks they came in drips and drabs and sometimes not at all.
Staff were rushing around and running past our table, it felt chaotic. At one point I ordered a bottle of Prosecco for the table and they just forgot. One of your staff had to ask if we’d had the bottle and then went and got it and I could over hear him telling another member off for forgetting the order.
When our mains were served my sisters chips were ice cold and my wife who ordered a steak didn’t even have chips given that she ordered. My wife complained and the member of staff was rude to her, the senior waiting staff did apologise and gave us a free round of drinks
It was just such a weird level of service l, we had different waiting staff serving us, at some points our table was completely forgotten and even though we were offered free drinks I thought service was really poor overall. What made it worse was it was my first time to resteraunt but my mum loves it and we went to celebrate her birthday. I have to admit I won’t personally be going again from the experience I had. I thought it was over priced for the food and level of service provided.
Not a great experience.
Sumptious surroundings - staff very accommodating - good food and I'm not even a fish fan - plenty of choice for vegetarian / or non fish eating diner
One of the best places with the nicest staff. I take my family and my clients there they all love it
The restaurant was busy but the tables were still socially distanced. The service was attentive and my main course neptune symphony was excellent. I can also recommend the lime and vanilla tart. A good buzzy atmosphere not too not too loud
We had 3 courses each, all were amazing, Avocado prawns and cod Mediterranean was fab, the pornstar martinis were even better!
Waiting staff seem to find diners a distraction to their socialising which adds up to poor service and huge waiting times. Offers of free desserts cannot make up for this. Food is average and size definitely rules over quality when it comes to steaks. Having said that, the grilled sardines are good and they have some good wines. All in all, too expensive for what it is. I imagine the experience is much better if you are a hardened regular as it seems very cliquey.
Had a very nice time, staff very friendly
Second visit in the last six months, great food and wine with great decor - would recommend for a special occasion
Had the pacific prawns for the second time, they did not disappoint! Very friendly staff.
I love this restaurant, food, service and atmosphere are all brilliant. Particularly the service
Not up to the standard when it used to be Sea Salt.
No lift for the disabled.
Intimidating marble staircase for guests who are unsteady on their feet.
