   I booked for 7:30pm via open table, but then got a phonecall towards the end of the day saying they had taken bookings over the phone and that table wasn't available, they only had 6:30pm, which I agreed to take. We got to the restaurant and we took our table. The decor is light wood and a bit like a canteen, it's not the best decor to be honest. It reminded me of the Ikea restaurant. Service was ok, and the wine and food was actually pretty good. It's quite a small menu though. We both found something we liked, but others might not be so fortunate. I would probably go back for lunch rather than dinner.

   Really recommend the Pavilion. Have been here multiple times for the Sunday roast and recently visited for dinner on Saturday. The menu options were great and the food was of very high quality. Great value for money in this day and age! Service was great as well - they’re always super lovely and welcoming.

   Beautiful setting. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was amazing, highly recommend having some bread to start. We didn’t have a pudding as we were full but they looked amazing too. Highly recommend. Be aware to get to the restaurant you have to go through private estate gates. Just go up to them they have the code on them. (We didn’t realise this and drove to three sets of gates )

   As always a lovely venue . Food is excellent & freshly cooked & the service is attentive but not too much so. A lot of steps up to the restaurant & the outside lift is not working which is difficult for elderly & somewhat infirm people but all worth it once you are on the lovely terrace & then in the restaurant. Don’t think enough people know about it or perhaps think it’s only for people who live in Wildernesse House but it’s open to all!

   Lovely restaurant, staff are very friendly. Food has always been amazing ( fish & chip friday) but however, the fish was not its best this time. We normally have a loin of fish, but this time it was the tail end & it made a huge difference. Not the best! It was very quiet. But we don’t mind that as you not rushed to finish. Excellent service.

    Lovely venue on a beautiful estate but the staff were not very welcoming and the food was disappointing. We were there on a Sunday so the only options were for roast dinners - everything had clearly been pre-made hours before so the potatoes and yorkshire puddings tasted like they had been sitting under the hot plate for far too long. The dessert that I had (panna cotta) was also tasteless. Wouldn’t recommend.
