The Patio on Lamont Ratings and Reviews
The service was wonderful - the hostess was able to seat our larger than expected party, the server brought us frequent drink refills, and chef split a meal between two plates to make it easier to share. And in the end, the server was great about splitting our check several ways. We had a great, easy brunch experience. Thank you!
We LOVE The Patio. We are new to the neighborhood and have brought friends/family (and our dog) here twice. The service and food are fantastic, and the atmosphere is inviting, cool, modern, and homey all at once. It is SUPER dog friendly--I think our dog has averaged about 20 treats each time. I highly recommend this place.
I go to The Patio fairly often with friends and am never disappointed. We came for Mother's Day Brunch and had a great time! The kitchen forgot my dad's meal though (the 4th time this has happened to him at different restaurants!) but the manager and our server were so sweet they brought my dad some amazing Pozole soup while he waited. No other restaurant before had done anything like that AND they comped his meal. Overall, great experience!
We recently visited PB for a few weeks. Our first time at The Patio was enhanced by your server Jamie, who definitely won us over with great service and her personality. We ended up eating there 3 more times, and brought several local friends with us. The Patio on Lamont rocks !!
When you reserve a table for this restaurant you would expect to be seated outside, since it's called THE PATIO and the charming thing about it is the outside area. However, I wasn't given a table outside. I asked to be seated outside once I saw our table but they said they were expecting people with dogs. They did not try to accommodate our request and it was mothers day and we were seated in a dark room with nobody in it. Pretty disappointing.
Food and service was very good. We do not live near the restaurant and went based on a recommendation, so we drove. Parking in the neighborhood was really tough. Tables are really close together, so you heard other conversations, and while I love dogs, you had to frequently step over dogs laying in narrow aisle ways. Dog owners should think more of their pets than putting them in harms way of being tripped over.
Had a great time celebrating daughters graduation over dinner at the Patio. It was very crowded and we were seated inside. At first we were a little disappointed because outside was so nice but it was very load and crowded. We really enjoyed the quiet space and food. Can't wait to visit again and bring our dog!
It's a really good experience especially we dine with cookie (our dog). Service is phenomenal. We were there for the happy hour, and it's a limited menu for happy hour but still good, we ordered 3 small bites, and the ahi poke taco was awesome. We ordered a lot of cocktails because it's happy hour (1/2 price). And i told them on my reservation that our visit is for my girlfriends (mini) bday celebration, and they gave her their best desert (for free) banana bread with vanilla icecream. Love it. We will definitely be back here, but we wanna try their brunch next time. But if you have a dog, this is an awesome spot to have some bonding moments and socialization too, recommended!
The steak I ordered wasn't tender; manager made it right! Excellent service and guests were treated like royalty. Unusual in this day and age and The Patio is to be commended for its handling of situations which others might mis-handle!
Regarding ambiance: the chair seats in the 'quiet room' which overlooks the large dining area downstairs need to be re-stuffed/reupholstered. The women in our group all felt like we needed booster seats to comfortably reach our dinner plates! Salads were good; mains also very good.
The appetizer tacos? Quite wonderful!
We made our reservations about a week before Easter. When we arrived, 20 minutes before our reservation time, we were told there would be a short wait. As we waited we saw three parties of people seated who did not have reservations. They were seated in an area we found later to be a prime we made our reservations a week before Easter. When we arrived 15 minutes early. We were told that they were backed up and we would be seated as soon as they could. We waited in the seating area. When we were finally waited on we were given a seat near the hostess station where the traffic pattern would go buy us constantly. When asked about getting a better seat we were told they were doing the best they could. We saw two seats at the bar and told her hostess we would wait there until she could find something better. After observing the bartenders we decided they would be the best for us. We never were contacted again by the hostess. Wired to us being waited on by the hostess we saw two couples who did not have reservations seated in the upper area. Where we, who had reservations, we're seated in the traffic pattern. What's wrong with this picture? We saw two seats at the bar and told her hostess we would wait there until she could find something better. After observing the bartenders we decided they would be the best for us. We never were contacted again by the hostess we had a great dining experience due to the efforts of the bartenders certainly not the hostess
Great Easter breakfast and endless Mimosa's. The indoor/outdoor restaurant was perfect, service and food amazing. This was our first time there, and we will definitely be back soon. Customer Service was great, as I made our reservation for 10:30pm instead of 10:30 am and they called to confirm, and made the switch, with no hassle! Really appreciated that!
This restaurant is one of our favorites and we have been there numerous times. Our last visit was by far the best yet. We went on a Tuesday evening and the special was "Eddie's Supper Club," which doe not adequately describe the delicious entrée we enjoyed. It was a take on Mexican prawns over rice with a cilantro cream sauce and a salsa of fresh peppers and veggies. Absolutely delicious.
There were 6 of us, the food was average. The waiter was great. We ordered
3 "sides" of plain pancakes which consisted of 3 regular size plain pancakes, and a single pancake and they charged us $12 for each side, ($40 for 10 small pancakes in all) which was very expensive. The waiter was kind enough to remove 1 $12 charge after we questioned it. Our entire meals averaged $12. I don't see myself returning.
