   We love this place so much! A neighborhood gem that goes above and beyond with great service and delicious food. I have some diet restrictions and my son is gluten free - they have great options for us that we deeply appreciate. We are so lucky to have this spot in Missoula.

   We are from out of town (Chicago) visiting the university with our son (who will be a Freshman this fall) so we looked for a local place outside of the downtown area with great reviews. This place is a gem and the food was wonderful. Definitely need a reservation as it is not a huge place, but the charm and the food are fantastic. Salmon with lemon risotto was amazing, the guys had burgers which were perfect. Must try while in Missoula. We will be back.

   We were promptly seated next to the fireplace, which is our favorite spot on a cold evening. The host was extremely friendly and checked with us often. We both ordered the JAGERSCHNITZEL: Breaded & Fried Pork Loin Cutlet w/Sour Cream Chive Mashed Potatoes, Braised Red Cabbage w/Apples & Bacon Mushroom Gravy. It was delicious. The breading was nice and crisp, the meat was tender and the gravy was delicious. It was a very generous portion so we did not need to order any salad or dessert.

   This is the BEST “unknown” restaurant in Missoula!!! And it is my favorite. I have never had a bad meal here.

   Another exceptional dinner at our favorite Missoula restaurant. Started with the perfect Caesar salad. Fresh. House-made dressing. Then the pork ribs that were drop-off-the bone perfect. We are always made to feel that we matter and the owners greet every guest with a smile.

   A Missoula gem. Family owned, neighborhood restaurant w warm, wonderful ambiance and service. We love the warm kale salad and the Mount Jumbo Burger. Local beers on tap. If you’re visiting family or friends in Missoula- it’s the perfect spot.

    We both had the seared scallops with orange risotto and found the food, the service and the experience “top notch”! The food arrived hot and very tasty. I would order again. I loved the small Caesar salad. Order this salad every time I dine at The Patio.

    I had the scallop and orange risotto that was delicious. My husband had the steak frites and the beef was very tender. The fries had just a little too much garlic for our taste, so next time we will see if we can order them without garlic. The wine list is small and has a good variety, something for every taste and budget. The house salad was also really fresh and just right to start the meal.

    Celebrated my birthday here last night with my family and it was a perfect evening. The staff is wonderful and the food was great. We love the cozy, warm atmosphere The Patio radiates. I couldn’t of picked a better spot to celebrate!

    We had the pork medallion special. So delicious, flavors where rich. Served on a bed of mashed potatoes in a generous amount. Will go back to try any special they offer! Do recommend making a reservation, it fills quickly even on a weekday

    Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. We ordered shrimp and grits and Pork Concetta. Both were yummy. The special Pinot Noir by Erath was a perfect accompaniment. Service was very attentive. We will be back soon.

    Was a bit more expensive than we expected the service was very good I miss order my meal they were very prompt in correcting my error. The atmosphere was pleasant enjoyed our meal without loud interruption. Employees were very friendly and attentive. Nice place to have a quiet dinner will revisit.

    Family visiting from Portland OR has dined here once before and requested a repeat. Caesar salad is excellent. All four dinners met and exceeded expectations. We were seated on time, exactly where we had requested and the servers were attentive and polite and friendly. All in all, really made for a nice family outing. Thanks.

    I was told they had the best burger in town and so I decided to check it out. Their burger is delicious. But, the Cream of Garlic soup was outstanding, also. The beer was cold, and the Apple Pie was a big piece of deliciousness. Most of all, the owners are servers and they make the entire experience that much better. Great place - and they do a lot more than a burger!

    Nice place, good service. Overall, food was tasty, but quantities were a little disappointing. Appetizer was a mix of cod and halibut, but the two were indistinguishable (unless shape of pieces was the key; the fish itself looked and tasted the same). The warm kale salad (with added smoked salmon) was very good, however the salmon cakes, while tasty, were a bit on the small size (and only two) for an entree, and were served on a bed of arugula which was very poor in quality and appearance (let's just say well past its prime). Flourless chocolate torte was excellent.

    Once again, exceptional Caesar salad. This time with a side of Flank Steak, seasoned perfectly. We sat outside in the shade. Tables were nicely spaced so conversations remain private. Wait staff was prompt, polite and efficient. A repeat five star dinner!!

    Definitely a neighborhood gem! Ate on the patio with lovely landscaping and a great glass of wine. Ordered the slow roasted pork with polenta. Delicious and filling. Finished with three berry pie. What a feast. I will return. Service was very accommodating and brought me extra verde sauce when necessary!

    We were in Missoula for the night and due to the local festival we wanted to stay out of downtown and found the Patio at Rattlesnake online and snagged one of the last reservations and were incredibly happy we did. The burgers were exceptional, the salad was very fresh and the triple berry pie with vanilla bean ice cream was better than grandma’s. Sage and all of the other runners and servers were very prompt and courteous. We will be back! Highly recommend.

    This is the third time we have eaten dinner at The Patio. Wonderful food, gracious hosts, and such a wonderful outdoor patio with mountain scenery ! Very nice menu selections : we chose the chicken parmigiana and rack of ribs with corn on the cob. It is a great feeling to support our local businesses ! We will be back.
