The Patio & Grille at Las Sendas

Great food and Service by Christina! Views are spectacular. Best spot in the east valley.
We came for the sunset for friends. We had a great time!
Our table was great. We enjoyed our wine outside, and watched a beautiful sunset. The waiter, a young man with blond hair, did a fine job, and was very attentive.
The only drawback was the food being somewhat disappointing. My husband ordered the queso dip with chips, and two of us splint the lobster-Mac sandwich. The queso was greasy and made my husband’s stomach upset.
The lobster Mac sandwich seemed like it wasn’t filled very much. Overall, I wish the selection was better. It just seemed like there were not many choices, for where we were sitting.
Always love the Patio & Grille no matter what time of year. Happy Hour and the Sunset CAN'T BE BEAT!
All the renovations to the patio in the last year have made it the perfect place to go relax, have a glass of wine, listen to live music and watch Arizona's amazing sunsets.
Beautiful sunset with great music. Your guy played music for 3 hrs no break. Pasta bar!!!
Very pleased. We brought friends who had never been before. They were quite impressed. We will be back
This is a wonderful location and situated perfectly overlooking the city. The live music was an added bonus that just took it over the top for the evening.
They were extremely busy and service was slow but we were relaxed and in no hurry, just enjoying the evening. I ordered the Pork chop and it was fabulous! My husbands meal unfortunately was not as great. Undercooked chicken, over cooked rice and quite tasteless. He didn’t hardly touch his meal and no one even asked if everything was ok. It was also my birthday which we mentioned with the reservation but again no mention of it at all.
I would most likely give this place another chance because of its perfect location for sunset and my meal was very good. I do make allowances for the fact that they were busy but they should be prepared for that since it seems like a regular occurrence as well as our reservation was not until 7:45pm. We didn’t get our food until almost 9pm
Had a reservation for dinner at 6:30 so we could watch the sunset. Beautiful view and sunset. Appetizers and entrees were very good. Would come again.
The food was a disappointment and so overpriced. I ordered the mushroom ravioli and received 8 of them. i thought it was a starter. My friend asked for his ribs without Brussels and the brought him Brussels.
I wish I hadn’t listened to the waiter and went with the buffet instead.
We were here to celebrate our anniversary. It was quite crowded and not the atmosphere that we would have liked. The food was quite good as was the service.
Fabulous. Great waiter. Good food good music. Good view. Highly recommend.
Wonderful food. Fantastic views overlooking course and valley. Beautiful sunset.
They did not have our open table reservation, but where able to seat us in open seating area.
If you want to sit outside, please note when making your reservation that the PATIO symbol (Additional seating symbol) is on the time slot? We made a reservation for 6:30pm and were seated inside at a very small table right next to the kitchen doors. It was very loud and busy with wait staff constantly going in and out of the doors. After we ordered our food, a hostess came and told us they had a table for us outside. Our waitress did a great job of continuing our service and came out to check on us several times.
The views are amazing at sunset but if you are not outside on the patio you can not see the sunset. From now on we will always make sure the patio symbol is on our time slot when making a reservation.
Always a great place to eat! The food and the views are outstanding
Excellent food , service and view We plan
to go agaun soon .
Excellent service and fabulous ambiance.
We will recommend this restaurant to others.
Very disappointed. We requested to be seated on the patio as it was a special occasion. They claimed they got no such request and seated us inside then claimed to be very sorry. Lousy customer service here. Poor management.
Celebrated our winter season down south.., very good evening
Our reservation was for the Patio for a party of 4 for a special occasion. When we arrived, the manager said that our reservation was for inside. I explained that I always book the patio because of the great view and the music. She said, “ we are full on the patio but if we get an opening”. There was a disgruntled party of 4 next to us and I asked them if they had booked on Open Table for the patio and they had as well. Obviously there is a booking problem and next time, I will call and confirm.
I love going to the Las Sendas for great food, music and sunsets. If you book on Open Table be sure that your are asking for outside seating if that is what you want. Otherwise, you are booked for indoors and miss the beauty if the sunset and city lights. As always, the food is great.
We had a great dinner and beautiful sunset. Michael our waiter was very helpful and did a great job. Thank you for the nice evening!
Wine choices by glass were slim, but the ambiance was great. Food was good. I had the salmon and spaetzle. The salmon was great, but there was too much cream and not much flavor in the soaetzle. But the bison meatloaf was amazing!
Great sunset and city light views. Interesting menu, with unusual options. Variety of small plates available, if that's your preference. Pleasant, unobtrusive, live music nightly makes for a very pleasant dining experience.
View yes, food no. Service was excellent, but the food was insipid, uninspired, and lacking in presentation. We’ve been regular patrons for several years and appreciate the live music and Valley views at sunset, but the food quality has deteriorated tremendously.
The food was served like warm. The waiter was charming but negligent. We have been to The Patio many times. This was the worst we have experienced. Hopefully better next time.
Everything was wonderful! We had a great table with a great view of the sunset!
Requested a table for four on the patio. Hostess said reservations through open table would not guarantee a patio table. They did put us on the patio but the far back corner table with not so good views.
One of our members ordered the pork green chili Pozole. Any pozole we gave ever had has always been a soup based meal with homeny. This was a dry pork-based meal. Very different, just be sure you know what you’re getting.
Another member ordered chicken cacciatore. The chicken was overcooked and the “sauce” was very thick and unappealing.
We have had wonderful experiences at this restaurant of the past. Just must’ve been an off night.
Great views on the patio and good selections on menu
We had a great time and great food. The view is excellent, the food and service is very good. The one and only nitpicky thing to mention is they were closing around us and I understand it's a "retirement" area but we didn't like feeling like we had to leave. Would have likely had a few more cocktails. Maybe there should be an 8 PM cut off for reservations? Our reservation was for 8:30 PM. Having said that, it's a great spot to eat, especially this time of year and the food and service are great. Just plan the rest of your evening at another bar.
Grandparents watched the kids so we could go out and they recommended we head to Las Sendas. Great night
I would recommend it because of the spectacular location, ambience, and the view. Golf club food is often mediocre, although that has not been my experience, dining there. My guest was disappointed in his meal- his chicken was undercooked and had to be sent back. My meal was great! Our other guests thought the food was "OK". Our reservation had been all mixed up. I had called to change the number of people and the time, and had a confirmation for a completely different time, then received a message whilst we were there to comment on the fact that we had not shown up! I spoke to the manager after and she apologized. But I like it there and my friends said they would go back.
Due to the weather, we had to eat inside, which was very noisy. We were meeting friends we hadn’t seen in over a year, and had trouble hearing. The wrong wine was brought out to two of us. The food was good, but not great. We expected more for the price.
The meat/cheese board was not good. Served with toast that tasted odd crackers would have been better
It was a beautiful sunset with city lights on the patio sitting. Food portions were large. We received a “Happy Hour Menu” when seated even though Happy Hour” was over. We had to ask for a wine list. Our waiter was not very attentive and we had to summon him to take our food orders. Other waiters we observed were attentive to their tables. So, you may have good service or lacking service depending on the waiter you have.
Do not order your entree until your appetizers arrive. We dine here often and this week we just started our salads and our meals arrived. It ruined our night. This is our must go to restaurant when entertaining guests and family
Always a great place to dine. It’s our neighborhood eatery
Food and service was exceptional.
Vicki was great!
Food were good, tho.....not the level I've experience on previous visits. Wine was tasty and fitting to the entrees ordered. Entertainment was spot on.
The sunset spectacular.
