Our lovely open-plan restaurant has traditional oak-beams and contemporary furnishings with a harmonious and relaxing ambience. The perfect setting for you to enjoy a romantic dinner, family celebration or night out with friends.
Our Head Chef and his brigade are passionate about food. Every dish on the frequently changing menu is freshly prepared from the finest ingredients – locally sourced wherever possible.
Norfolk is rich in great produce and our kitchen’s philosophy is based on seasonality, provenance and flavour. Game, fish, meat and vegetables are chosen with care daily. We have a close relationship with the finest suppliers in the county and they know that we insist on buying the best. We don’t do run-of-the-mill at The Parson but we do believe in offering great food cooked with passion and flair.
Special dietary requirements are all happily catered for. Please advise when making your reservation.

Good excellent apart from desserts. Seemed to be a lot of heavy puddings and not much in way of summery desserts. Would have been nice to have seen maybe pannacotta or creme brulee.

Table of 4 for Tuesday lunch: The restaurant was busy with serving lunch , however we did not feel crowded and was able to converse without raising voices! Service was excellent, gave us time to look at the menus and once ordered our food came promptly hot and all together. Will come again

We had a slight problem with our order but our waitress/barmaid was extremely helpful and her service was exemplary. The food was superb and it was a fabulous dining experience, thank you

Always assured of a warm welcome, utterly delicious food (best fish and chips I've eaten) Impeccable service, lovely atmosphere. Can't fault it.

Very disappointed this evening steak was medium well done instead of medium rare. I think you must have a new chef as it was a big let down up until last night's experience we were happy to NOT try anywhere else but that has now changed we will be trying other places such a shame.

Wide selection of meals, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Quality of food was excellent at a very competitive price. We enjoyed the delicious Roast meals we were served with which had an excellent range of vegetables & tender meat. Roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were perfect too. Such a varied range of food options we most definitely will return to work our way through such a tempting Menu. Thank you all very much for our wonderful Sunday lunchtime.

Service was very SLOW and the restaurant was not even busy. The food was good but one meal was missing/late and then had missing items off the plate which was never brought to the table even after asking twice.
