Great place perfect service great food the place is eclectic bit sophisticated
Such a beautiful restaurant. Great drinks, and very good food. Good service.
Excellent food, ambiance, and service. Had a lovely evening
What a fantastic experience. Staff and food were on point and we were made to feel so welcome.
Really enjoyed the evening. The food was great. Thanks Amber, great to see you again. Can't wait until we come back. Maybe during daylight hours to see more of the establishment. Thumbs up!!!!
Pleasant beckground live guitar with vocal. Just perfect, pleasant relaxing. This artist needs to be permanently present on premises.
Ambience, service and food what I have known and expect perfect for me and my guests.
A big bonus the Parrot House is open on Sundays - perfect.
Thank to the entire staff - it is a team work. Congratulations.
It was a very enjoyable experience and we will return! The Sunday Brunch food was outstanding and the service was attentive and great. What more could you want?
Good food. Excellent service. Reasonably priced.
Such a lovely historic setting and ambience is wonderful. Steak Fondue is delicious!
Went for the first time to lunch, the service was slow, really slow, they seemed disorganized. The glasses on the table were very spotted very unappetizing , the sun was coming through the window and the window was dirty. The food was mediocre, The steak fries were awful, greasy and mushy.
Great experience, will definitely be back. Roseburg needed something like this..love the rustic comfortable feel, great customer service.
The food and service is impeccable while the ambiance provides a magical, cozy feeling!
Nice Sunday buffet, but some of the food was cold by the time we got back to our table.
The food as always was delicious but it took over an hour to get our first drink. I understand it is a dining experience but 3 hrs for a meal is a bit long. And you need to bring back oysters.
the staff was great! the food not so much...the asparagus was mushy and the portions on the potatoes was sad at best. we only had a couple pieces of potatoes on our plates. seems like the whole layout of the rooms is very choppy and nothing really flows together. for as expensive as this place is i would think the portion sizes would be much better. overall we had a nice dinner and the owner was very nice and helpful as well as our server.
I would highly recommend Parrott House, as long as you have time to spare. The food was absolutely delicious and the waiter was good. But our fish and chips, roast beef sandwich and club took nearly an hour to come out.
Beautiful setting. Great food. Good value!
I regret that we cannot remember our waiter's name, but he was so helpful in getting us started with our meal, not overbearing and continued to make us feel welcome and comfortable through out the evening. Everyone at our table of six was very impressed with the ambiance, quality of food and exceptional service. Comments at our table were 'best ribeye I have every eaten', 'can't believe how good this salad is' and 'you need to try this desert'. Our guests continued to praise the meal into the next morning, thanking us for taking them to The Parrott House.
Yes, Very nice, Its a must do. You won't be sorry. Go
Our evening was superb... Good and service amazing, never disappoints!
Picked this restaurant as a pot for meeting brother-in-law and his wife who were coming in from Eugene (we were coming from Talent ). We could not have done better. We had an excellent visit and a delicious dinner. Well worth the drive!
The staff was very attentive and friendly. The meal was great, just the right amount and taste. Hats off to the chef!
My Husband, brother and I dined at The Parrot House for my birthday. I ordered the chicken dish & brother & husband ordered the pork tenderloin. My dish came out first, a couple minutes after, they were served the pork tenderloin which was barely warm, as well as vegetables. Told server, but kept their dish as they were hungry. Not impressed!
Beautiful setting! Really stunning. Lunch was delicious and a reasonable price. Service was wonderful. The room was on the chilly side.
What a lovely place to have our celebration dinner! The live music on a Tuesday night was such a pleasant surprise and his acoustic guitar and voice was the perfect backdrop for the ambiance. Dinner was delicious, but my dessert of bread pudding with a whiskey caramel sauce was amazing! The service was outstanding! What a wonderful place for our little community!
The food was good. It was a great place to go for brunch. They had a nice variety of food on the buffet as well as menu Items to choose from. The service was spotty. After talking with the manager the service improved. I plan eat there again.
Overall great choice for fine dining in our area!
The prime rib, their special that evening, was not warm when served. After I informed the waitress, she offered a new piece, then returned with a warm slice that was overcooked. It is difficult to get prime rib right, but it shouldn’t be your special if you don’t know how to do it. The other food was okay, just not particularly flavorful. Also, they don’t heat this place well, so if it’s cold out, you’ll need your coat inside too. I would not return.
Food and service was very good. We enjoy going here.
A good find off I5. We frequently go on I5 from Corvallis to Ashland or Grants Pass and Roseburg is a good stop. We have made do with the basic restaurants that satisfy the hunger but are less than memorable. The Parrott House was great. The beet salad was super - the beets were perfectly marinated and cooked. Others in our group were equally satisfied with their sandwiches. The fries are the nice thick ones. It was mid afternoon so not too busy so I cannot judge the service. Our service was fine although they brought out the salad that was obviously a main course much before the other food. It was a little awkward.
Overall, a great stop. It is a little challenging to get on the right road to find it but well worth the effort.
We were forgotten by the wait staff, Literally. The waitress that brought us the menus and took our drink order, stopped by and picked up our menus We explained at that time we hadn't ordered yet when we were informed she wasn't our waitress and would get our waitress. 45 minutes after we arrived we got our drinks and ordered. We also had a baby seated next to us that was fussy. The food was very good however.
As always, our meal was fantastic, the service was excellent, surroundings beautiful. We look forward to our next dining experience and will continue to recommend the Parrott House to our friends and family.
Only finger food from 2-4p but it was GREAT.
Loved the inside:)
My partner and I absolutely love the Parrot House.
It is great for date nights with your love, drinks with friends, brunch with your family, or even late night dessert with your little ones. The service is always pleasant and the atmosphere and ambience is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend spending at least one early afternoon or evening here. You will not be disappointed!
Beautiful restaurant great view and ambiance wait staff was great friendly quick service. Wish there were more lights around the grounds to walk around after dinner.
Love everything about this place, from the fresh, farm to table menu to the lovely setting in a beautiful historical home. Highly recommended.
Will be back next time I am in Roseburg. The service was great and the food was perfect.
Made my reservation online, when I arrived the staff was disorganize. They asked where we would like to sit and I suggested two tables that were empty and the staff member oh those tables are already spoken for. There was no one in the front of the house to direct the rest of my party to where we were siting. We felt that we were not part of the regular patrons, so the service was slower and felt ignored. It's possible that there was one server on duty but I did see several other staff members running around the place. I will be hesitant to return due to the service and price of the food.
Best food ever!!! Musician Scott Head made the evening. Service was a little off.
My wife and I made reservations at The Parrott House in celebration of our wedding anniversary. We had been there before and were quite pleased with everything. This visit was a different story altogether. We had reservations and were seated immediately. It took a while for our server to come to our table, we thought to take our order as we had had plenty of time to peruse the menu. She took our drink order and when we started order an appetizer she walked away. Five or ten minutes later we got our drinks, I requested a straw for my Pepsi, it never came. I had to ask another staff member for the straw after more than 10 minutes had passed. Finally we were able to place our order, the appetizer took about 15 minutes and arrived at our table with no plates, flatware or napkins...the side order for my entree a few minutes later. Our entrees were delivered about 45 minutes after ordering. I again had to ask another server for a drink refill as our server was busy talking in bar behind us. The fresh soft drink arrived in a glass fresh from the dishwasher and hot to the touch with the ice already half melted. The handle of the glass was so hot I could pick the Pepsi up with it. Finished, we again had to wait for the bill. Overall this was a long and frustrating experience. That being said, the food was wonderful. We have not decided whether to risk another visit as there seems to be no standards of service at this establishment.
