   We have come to Bethany for many years and this year we came across parkway while walking through town. It exceeded our expectations. Place itself was cool. Good vibes, quiet etc. everything looked clean as well. Our server was extremely friendly . Food followed suit and was great. We got the octopus lamb chops and a halibut special. Would come back next time in area

   This was our first time here. We had a reservation but the bar was open so we sat there. Had a great experience even if it was a tad on the noisy side. The cocktails were great (and generous!). Meals were solid. The bartender is your cruise director for experiencing Parkway.

   Parkway on a Saturday night. Very busy. Servers were maxed out but friendly. Beet salad was great, Caesar was average. Caesar lettuce had been chopped into such small pieces, needed a spoon instead of a fork. Dressing bland. Lamb was good, crab take average, ribeye above average. Promised bread but had to ask again. Menu described potatoes with one entree but never appeared. Some confusion as we were billed for an extra entree. Decent bourbon list.

   Overall good food and service. I ordered the bake oyster Rockefeller for appetizer, which was amazing. My fiancé got the beef carpaccio, which was amazing as well. I ordered the shrimp scampi for my entrée. It was subpar as the wine was not cooked down enough in the scampi sauce, so it tasted more like alcohol. Then the line scampi I wanted. My fiancé got the salmon dish, which was probably one of my favorite dishes. I’ve had in a long, long time.  so could not be upset with the scampi situation because everything else was amazing.    A delightful evening per usual! Always friendly clientele... Met new people and rekindled acquaintances while enjoying a custom libation and delicious perfectly prepared salmon dinner seated at the bar. Thank you!

    This place is very "old school", and not in a good way. Food was underwhelming, as was the service. After taking our order, the next time we saw the server was at the end of our meal when she brought us our check. Food was brought out by other staff and never an offer/ask for a second round of drinks. With so many other places available in the area, I won't go back and can't recommend The Parkway. .
