   Lovely cozy little pub just behind Leeds castle, we had the festive set menu and the quality was incredible. Recommend the pork belly! Really good value for money

   Nice Pup next to Leeds Castle. Easy walk from there. Friendly staff, very good food, cold beer - overall: very good!

   Authentic cooking. Roasts and vegetables were nicely cooked. We all commented on the quality.

   Excellent food especially slow cooked lamb shank which just melt in your mouth and my partner order a vegitarian starter as a main course which was kindly obliged which makes it a very good customer service.

   We had booked a table for 5.30pm on a Sunday. When we arrived they told us they had no roasts available but they were cooking some more but weren't sure how long it would be. We were starving so we just asked if we could have a pie each with roast potatoes. Staff were happy to oblige with this and it was a really nice meal in the end. Just a shame that we went without a roast - which was the reason we went there on Sunday. All in all very friendly and food was nice. :-)

   Have been here before and been lovely but very disappointing 3 meals were inedible and went back very small salad and chip portions rice could cut with a knife so stodgy and no sauce with the curry.

   The Park Gate is a very pleasant place for a meal. We chose it to entertain our friends. The service was very slow but to be fair there were a lot of people there, including a party who were very noisy. This, of course was not the fault of the staff. It was just annoying not to be able to have a reasonable conversation. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful and did his best to serve us as speedily as possible. We would certainly go there again.

   The kitchen was under pressure and so the service was slow however the waitress very apologetic and money deducted from bill.

    Be careful using OpenTable as according to the restaurant, they have no access to live bookings and allowed us to book a table that didn’t exist! Thanks for ruining Mother’s Day for our table of 9 OpenTable. I won’t be using your website again!!!
