Took an hour and 30 between salad and a cheeseburger entree which was tiny, over cooked and almost absent the lettuce and tomatoes.
Server never smiled, was All Business and not engaging.
Complaining finally resulted in being comped as we have been going there for many years.
Bar had 1 bartender and a helper resulting in slow service also.
We so enjoyed our little dinner party. The booths are private and quiet so visiting with family and friends was easy.
Food was top notch and the service flawless and friendly. There were several parties going on but the kitchens timing was perfect.
A bit of a splurge on wine, so many good offerings. We decided this will be an annual event.
My husband and I took his parents here as a gift and had a wonderful evening & meal. Truly a wonderful evening! The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend dining here for any special occasion. As well as everyday in the bar for a great happy hour.
The food was wonderful, our server was most helpful and the Christmas decorations made for a very festive luncheon
Excellent meal and atmosphere - superb service by Terrence as his familiarity with the menu and kitchen combined with his personality topped off a “10 out of 10” evening. Park Bistro is a gem - a place where we’ve never had anything but great dining experiences.
Incredible service from Terrance. Food was innovative and delicious. Quite elegance so you can actually have a conversation over dinner and not have to shout. Would definitely come back.
Been awhile since our last visit but, again, a most delightful experience. The menu has changed considerably but still a number of great choices. This time we celebrated the 56th anniversary of our engagement. Both of us had the delectable butternut squash soup and the very tasty dayboat scallops entree which came with butter-braised savoy cabbage and marble potatoes (really looked like little marbles). And, if you are a chocoholic, don't miss the skillet brownie for dessert - on request, you can get a small pitcher of additional chocolate sauce. At the end, for our celebration, the server brought a small piece of chocolate bread pudding to share. Valet parking is available. Do note that there are a few steps, a possible challenge for folks using a walker or wheelchair, but no problem for cane users like me.
Disappointing night for our party of 4. Food took far longer to arrive than usual. One of our party ordered her filet medium rare, but it arrived as medium well to well done. The other filet was fatty and gristly, not what you'd expect. The replacement filet was cooked properly. When the bill came we were charged for 3 steaks!! They fixed the bill but this was really adding insult to a mediocre experience. We've dined at Park Bistro numerous times in the past. This hopefully was an outlier, but don't think I'll be going back there any time soon. Too many other choices in the area.
Very poorly conceived breakfast dish with grilled avocado. Avocado is not better grilled. The egg served with the grilled avocado was undercooked, and the fresh spinach garnish was severely wilted. Will not return.
New favorite restaurant, service and food where both wonderful. I had the beet salad and the tomahawk pork chop, my wife had the salmon......awesome food! We will definitely be back, looks like lots of great items to try on the menu!
I have come here many times for lunch with friends and have never been disappointed.
The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and it is always enjoyable
We love the brunch at the Park Bistro and highly recommend it!
Lovely ambiance, tasty menu, fabulous service!
I was expecting to give this a five star rating, however, bartender was so slow in getting my glass of wine, and then the second glass, same delay. Also, the food was over salted. I had the Pork tomahawk. Waiter was terrific.
Always a delight to dine at The Park Bistro. It's quiet, elegant, delicious and the staff are curteous, fun and pleasant.
Our family very much enjoyed our Sunday breakfast experience. One had the buffet; everyone else opted for a la carte, which was excellent.
The service was slower than usual. Salad had nuts but not listed on menu. Had to ask twice for new side salad.
My salmon burger was dry.
We had a wonderful lunch. Our wait-person was so helpful and she did a fabulous job recommending delicious food.
We came here during the blackouts to have a nice warm breakfast and plug in and use the Wi-Fi. The staff at the restaurant took such a good care of us that I decided to stay for lunch and work in the bar. They really made us feel like we were home. Bonus was a well priced and delicious breakfast menu.
Fantastic experience here. Ate three consecutive meals over two days. Absolutely fabulous.
They were a bit overwhelmed during the power outages, rightfully so, but worked hard and as quickly as they could. We were in the enclosed outside area, which was a little cold. Food was expected. ( Good )
Great place for lunch or dinner. Food is consistently very good. Service always pleasant and ecxcellent.
Great service, a very fun evening.
a perfect place to have an extraordinary experience. food, service, atmosphere, all is great.
My wife and I enjoyed an anniversary meal as part of our stay at the Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa. I’d mentioned when I booked the reservation that it was an anniversary celebration, and every person who greeted us wished us a happy anniversary while we were there. Very sweet.
Our server (I wish I could remember his name) was delightful. He was funny, charming, and went above and beyond to make our experience special- even adding a little “Happy Anniversary” sign and candle to my wife’s mashed potatoes.
The dinner was okay, but not super exciting. The desserts, however, were delicious. The price was what I expected, and the service made up for the lackluster aspects of our meal. We would go again if we were there for another getaway.
The fish and chips were not good. Tiny pieces of dry fish in very thick batter.
Such good food. Definitely pricey, but I think you are getting what you are paying for.
Dinner was fantastic!
I loved the atmosphere. The service was very, very slow. We weren’t wanting a fast meal, and in a nice restaurant I don’t expect speed. However, we waited and waited for each stage of the meal. We started with the calamari and a cocktail which was great. I ordered the spaghetti With meatballs and was disappointed. The meatballs were tough and salty. My friend ordered the burger and it was charred and just ok. I didn’t feel that I received a meal worth $100.00 for the two of us.
Always a nice dinner locally. Comfortable table great food and so convenient. Very enjoyable, thank you.
While the restaurant is lovely and the service very good we found the quality of the food had declined since prior visits. We were there for a birthday lunch and all three of us chose different entrees and not one of us was impressed with the food. The fish in the fish and chips was tasteless and the fries overly salty. The addition of smoked salmon (described as salmon bacon) was not a good idea. The peach and green salad was almost devoid of peaches. Our earlier experiences there have had us coming back for special occasions, but I’m now somewhat reluctant to return.
The restaurant is situated in a lovely boutique hotel. Our dining experience began with FREE valet parking! The menu is perfect in every way. Bar tender made a better martini than I do! Wine list was an appropriate compliment to food. Wait service was fast, very friendly, and attentive. If this sounds like the “perfect” restaurant it may well be!
Ate at the bar. Elisa was the bar tender and she was great!
The Park Bistro is easy to find, easy parking, comfortable dining, friendly service and nice menu variety.
Fabulous! The food, service and ambiance were so good that we booked reservations for Thanksgiving!! And asked for our waiter’s table!
Waiter was snotty and acted like he was too good for us. Atmosphere too stuffy.
Food was excellent and we enjoy the quiet in the dining room at 5:30 pm.
Very friendly and helpful waiter, Brandon.
2 of the items we ordered did not come out to the table. After mentioning the pomme frites it was eventually brought out, but the seasonal soup of the day never was. Our waitress...Vu something was super short with us, especially my wife and made us feel uncomfortable. One of us has dietary restrictions gluten-free and dairy-free, when trying to confirm with Vu that foods were safe to order she was clipped and rude.
We will not come back nor recommend The Park Bistro and Bar to any friends.
Jolene was a great waitress and the food and drinks were great.
