I ordered a Caesar salad which was only ok. Too little dressing and other issues. My entree was salmon and it was too salty. Service was very slow and the waiter did not understand English well.
Pretty outdoor patio but no wonder I could get a Saturday night reservation easily two days earlier: slow, forgetful service and mediocre food. Sorry to see a long-time establishment with previous stellar reputation as such a low point.
The Park Bistro was great. But making the reservation through Open Table was poor. I specified that the dinner was for our anniversary, but apparently Open Table did not tell the Park Bistro as we got no acknowledgement. In the past we have made reservations directly with the Park Bistro and they always did something a little special for us. We won't be using Open Table again.
We had an uneven experience. The appetizers were excellent, particularly the beet salad. Both the salmon and the filet mignon were excellent. But the fish and chips were virtually inedible. The fish was rockhard. One of the pieces could not even be cut with a knife. To their credit, we were not charged for the dish. For dessert we had an excellent bread pudding and what was easily the worst crème brûlée we have ever tasted. It was completely bland and watery. We have dined here several times before and always had excellent experiences and were disappointed at the food shortcomings.
It is such a treat to be able togo back to the Park again and eat inside!! Wonderful ambience, great staff and food!
Salmon and chicharrones were awesome! So we’re the cocktails!
Very limited menu; "rare" burger came well done; fish & chips fish was dry and tough. Guess this explains why it was virtually empty.
Considering we spent over $400 for food and drink, $50 was a bit ridiculous for corkage.
We had a loud, grumpy server but everything else was nice. We like the ambience - normally nice and quiet.
Pleasantly surprised, came here for the first time to celebrate a birthday. Delicious food, very helpful waitress. We will definitely come back!
Top notch all-round - all 3 of us loved it! one of our favs
Great filet mignon! We sat outside on the patio, so had moderate noise from the street and highway.
Restaurants/eateries are just opening up. Employees are very difficult to find! NO DOUBT the Chef in-kitchen is overtaxed BUT...food choice was limited, attention to detail not on the plate. The saving-grace to it all was our waitress Kim...great personality!
Probably won't be dining here again.
There was no food service of any kind fro Sunday afternoon through Tuesday night. This was not disclosed until check in on Sunday afternoon. Hotel could have had a cantering company set up a coffee, juice, breakfast area on those days. Plus the front desk representative were somewhat rude.
This is a very pretty spot but it took a very long time to get the food and $23 for a salad that was almost all Romaine lettuce with salmon, well seasoned salmon, seemed a bit much.
Kim was the best server, always read our minds when something was needed or missing. She was funny, professional and spot on. We sat in the booth in the main dining room, our favorite spot. Had the chicken the salmon the steak and Caesar with chicken. All entrees were perfect. Started with the deviled eggs (not your Midwest egg), the mezzo and the cheese. Perfect for 4 people. Ended with the sorbet trio, and on a 100° night it was great!
The Host is the only issue here at this restaurant. She seemed very stressed out that night.
I made reservations for four for the dining room and was told when we got there that the dining room was too busy so we’ve got put in the bar at a table. This was a very special occasion and I was very disappointed. Two out of the four meals were good. My husband had asked for a rare steak and got medium well and he’s not one to return things so he ate it. My son-in-law ordered the pasta rabbit dish on the wait person’s recommendation and said it was very bland. On the other hand my salmon with grilled asparagus was fantastic. And my daughter-in-law who likes medium well done meat was very happy with her steak. We ordered two Caesar salad’s and split them but they were nothing to write home about. I am one who really likes to have anchovies on a Caesar salad and they were nowhere in sight.
Wonderful meal. Great drinks.
Attentive reliable and tasty!
As a long time fan of LPH Bistro, it was so great to be “home again”.
The French fries were better than ever.
Kudos to all!!!
Delicious food, and one server in particular was so warm and wonderful.
Excellent server Vivian remembered us and what we liked especially the wine she ensured we had a very nice time we brought 4 guests they enjoyed the evening very much.
Exceptional service and wine knowledge, interesting list. Covid Menu screams to be expanded back to the old days.
Birthday dinner Delicious and so fun with the servers!
Lemon Drop not iced or frosted; rim sugar only on 1/4th of glass and sloppily added; 3 pieces of baguette with cheese appetizer when 2 people; seated by a less than welcoming hostess; and astoundingly small menu- few choices; seated in the bar area when requested dining area when reservations made. Used to be a favorite place to dine, now passing fair.
It was wonderful to see Paige back and again enjoy her friendly and professional style Loved being back at the Bistro after all the long covid shut down
We were greeted warmly and seated at a table for 2 which had no table settings, flowers or anything on them. Because of the pandemic and only 50% capacity, the place didn't have much ambiance. It was also quiet for the same reason. Service was very nice and and the food was good.
I've been to this restaurant before and it was much nicer in "pre-pandemic" times.
The food was just fair. It was the first time I sat inside since the beginning of the pandemic. They do a good job of distancing
Everything was exceptional, as always.
Such a lovely place. Food was very good, we had the Park Burger. Best fries we ever had! Receptionist at front desk was so pleasant. Waiter as well very good service.
Give the Park Bistro a miss for a few months until the kitchen staff finds its feet after the COVID-19 lock down. The batter on my fish & chips was thick and soggy and my wife's chicken was tasteless. On a positive note our waiter was excellent and they didn't charge us for the tasteless chicken.
Great service, table ready for us. Enjoyed taking my 100 year old mom here for a post vaccination outing. It was like normal. She especially enjoyed getting out into the world. They are very good with safety precautions. Food was very good.
Food was delicious, our waitress was so kind and funny. We also inadvertently showed up 30 min late (I thought the reservation was for 6:30pm) and they were very kind and still seated us.
Very nice to be back and dine indoors
Under the circumstance coming out of Covid restrictions the overall results were very good. Especially the food service team!! Menu is limited at present but our Salmon was excellent. Was a very nice Birthday Celebration.
Everyone was helpful and accommodating! Toni, Elizabeth, Paige and Vivian made it special. The lady manager was excellent!
Very good food and service. I had a caesar salad and the salmon entree. My wife had a steak and an appetizer. Everything was very good.
Nice environment, great service, beautiful hotel
Happy that the restaurant is now open indoors. Always a favorite restaurant of ours.
