   I'd avoid, one front of house person and a bit of a Instagram trap. Owner clearly skimping. We were sat late by 15 minutes, took another 15 minutes to take our selections, forgot to bring the tea, which was plain funny. Cost around $250 for three people for a very mediocre experience, which is fine for New York but the included gratuity was hilarious.

   Came on an unexpectedly hot day. There was no air conditioning. We had reservations for tea service. No one really wanted hot tea. We asked to change to a la carte, but no changes were allowed. The server decided she could bring us lemonade instead of hot tea. No ice. No refill. The bill came to over $500 after gratuity - for some warm lemonade, small salad, a microwaved croissant sandwich, and some pastries. Far from what one expects a proper afternoon tea to be. Far from $500 worth.

   Totally overpriced for what you got. Fees were added to the bill that were unexpected. Charged us $10 for a bottle of water without asking us first if we wanted that.
