Since 2012, The Parish Café has been serving traditional Louisiana cuisine in Sonoma County. We pride ourselves in sourcing authentic Cajun and creole ingredients, Gulf Coast seafood and local produce to create our dishes.

Located 1 block from the Healdsburg Plaza, The Parish Café is located in a house built in the 1890’s. This unique setting creates an experience like no other in Healdsburg. We have ample seating outdoors on our covered wrap around porch and patio area!

We serve breakfast from 9-11 Monday - Friday, with lunch service directly following.
Saturday & Sunday we serve breakfast until 11, followed by our new Brunch Menu!

Our second time visiting and we were not disappointed at the service and the food. The beignets are fresh, hot, and delicious. They are great with the cafe au lait. We had their two specials: soft shell crab benedict and the sort rib and crawfish hash. Both were delicious. A definite stop for breakfast in Healdsburg.

Had a RSVP for 10am on 7/6/25. It was our wedding anniversary. When I made the reservation, I asked if they can accommodate us since we had our dog. They said yes and that we can be seated outside in the patio area. Got there at 10 and our table was not ready. So waited until 10:25am… finally was seated. The host who seated us immediately rushed us and took our order. We thought it was odd… meanwhile other tables within proximity had a different waiter. She never came back out with water even though we asked just came out with our coffee and food. when our food came I forgot that we didn’t order ant beignets! Was going to flag her down to order but then a different host seated a party of 4 people next to us who also had 2 dogs with them but their dogs wwere rowdy. The dogs jumped on our dog and then our entire table shook…. Our coffee spilled everywhere over the table and we had to reseat ourselves to a different table. No apologies. No stopping by to ask if we needed napkins or new utensils. No water. No new coffee offered. Nothing. The host who seated that party and the waiter who was serving other tables nearby saw the whole commotion and didn’t say a single word to us. The host who originally seated us and took our order also never showed up again. When we finished our meal, the waiter who was serving other tables just came by with the check and was like “here you go. Bye” I can’t believe I still tipped… even though there was already an additional 4% surcharge on top of the bill for the staff members “living wages”. Needless to say, didn’t get to try the beignets. Customer service was horrible. It was such a bad start to our morning of our wedding anniversary. Would not recommend The Parish Cafe to anyone even if the food was good. I regret not going to Costeaux or Acorn Cafe.

We had a person with a walker in our party and the restaurant staff were so accommodating! It was a wonderful brunch experience.

Great service, excellent food options and plenty of outside patio seating! Love the beignets, the breakfast po boy and the fried pickles are a must! Mimosas and bloodies are also very good and not too spicy. Highly recommend!

The experience was...fine. Will I go back...not likely. We were a party of 3. Two ordered Bloody Marys, which were incredibly watery and had to be sent back/exchanged for beer. They were a pint glass filled to the brim with pellet ice, then some sort of Bloody Mary mix was dropped in there. You could barely taste any tomato. The food was okay but not great. I had the shrimp and oyster po'boy, which was tasty enough, but included absolutely no sides, and while I wouldn't say they were stingy with the seafood, they were far from generous, and it wasn't evenly distributed. My wife had the shrimp po'boy and felt about the same way, except her roll was stale. Keep in mind, we're both very fond of New Orleans and are very familiar with the type of po'boys found there. I was hopeful that this would be in the ballpark, but it's not, I'm afraid.

Hi there, As we are a wine & beer license we do adjust our Bloody Mary recipe so that is still has the same "kick" as if we were able to use vodka. As it is less mix, it can come off as not as tomato forward. Our bloody mary mix is homemade, with a base of the great Zing Zang. We only use fresh bread that is delivered daily, so sounds like we overtoasted the bread for you. For that I do apologize! Our prices are listed a la carte - just like if you were at Mother's, Frankie & Johnnys, or Domolise's. Hopefully you will give us another chance and we can do better next time.

The food was wonderful. Love the beer choices, not so much wines by the glass. Our server was upbeat and fun. Perfect day for their patio, Father's Day Brunch.

We were very excited when we saw the menu and couldn’t wait to try the restaurant. However, we were sadly disappointed in the food. It lacked real flavor, and certainly wasn’t Cajun flavors. E.g., the fried shrimp in the po’ boy was bland and mushy (not crispy) ruining my husband’s Father’s Day meal.

Hi, sorry we did not meet expectations. If you are looking for those true Cajun flavors I would recommend many of our dishes. The fried shrimp po'boy might not be the best options as we do dress the po'boys traditionally, focusing on the quality of the shrimp and our custom french bread. Next time we can do a voodoo shrimp po'boy with our blackening seasoning and Tabasco aioli. Or check out our shrimp & grits!! I am not sure why it was mushy- so do apologize on falling short of making the po'boy the way it is meant to be... hot and crispy fried shrimp with a soft & crunchy roll.

This was a special event, a crawfish and shrimp boil, seated on the porch or at picnic tables. With tablecloths on, you couldn't see that they were not level and guests were spilling their drinks. The fish was good, but the dirty rice and cajun Mac were great. We brought bubbly but no bubbly glasses. There were no dishes to put your shells on. Of course, the beignets were great also, but Parish is just not the same as when Rob was there. It is definitely not a breakfast destination for me anymore.

Hi, Yes we had one drink that was spilled due to the table, but that guest was very happy once we got the replacement! I tend not to use flutes for a few reasons... the main being I personally think that a larger glass is far better for the enjoyment of sparkling wine. I spent many years in the wine industry and selling high end glassware, and do prefer a larger bowl so the wine can express itself openly. I am sorry we do not meet the standards you feel that Rob had here. I do know when he and Karla are in town they are both very happy with all we are doing! Hope you can give us another shot!

I’ve always had a great experience at this restaurant. But yesterday our waitress seemed to be off. We basically were forgotten, and another waitress came over to help us. They did comp part of our meal for the mistake. But after we still had some issues getting service. The bus boy was the most attentive. My friends and I agreed that this seemed to be a fluke and we will definitely try again. As always, the food was great and the atmosphere is awesome. Worth giving it another shot.
