All was excellent!!!

From walking in the door to the end, we felt like second rate citizens. Terrible reception by owner who took the people behind us with no reservation to a waiting group and then finally asked our name. He then took us to the enclosed patio and said “sit anywhere”, no menus or any courtesy!!!! We were about to leave and the waitress arrived and noticed that we had no menus and retrieved those for us. No cocktail menu available so we ordered our usual Negroni which was very weak. Food was average with large portions but no better than other places that we frequent in Fresno. We waited at least 15 minutes for waitress to cash out our bill.
We certainly will not return to this restaurant!!

One of my new favorite places. The food was delicious, the white chocolate bread pudding was the best ever!! Plus a very nice wine selection. Our server did an amazing job of taking care of a table of seven drinking and loud women. Perfect for lunch or dinner....we will be back.

New Year’s Eve dinner with my love. His first time here and the service was very slow. Slow to seat us, slow to come take our orders to getting drinks. Maybe they were giving us time to talk but I would have Loved being seated in a timely manner, I would’ve loved getting our hors d’oeuvres and drinks prior to our meal being served, and I would’ve loved our waitress checking on us which never occurred.

Dinner was great. Service was excellent. We had Calamari appetizer, was perfect. Entrees were both beautifully presented. Food was amazing.

The Palms is my new favorite restaurant in Fresno. The sea bass and butter leaf salad was wonderfully delicious. I will definitely return. Next time I want to try the surf ‘n’ turf and also bread pudding for dessert. I can’t wait!

Sarah was great, owners are amazing!! But too bad the Governor is such an idiot with mask mandates (he does not follow himself).

Dining inside with Covid restrictions. The Palms didn’t miss a beat, excellent selections, great service and the food was awesome. Sea Bass was outside.

The person working the front didn't even look at our reservation, just asked me how many, so he didn't know about our anniversary we put down on our reservation. So then he seated us in the bar area, not very romantic. I understand they are trying to survive during these times with limited crew, but at least look at the notes, you can't afford to lose customers.

Loved it. We had a dog with us and there was not a problem to sit us outside. Great job.

In all fairness, we didn't even make it to our seat. I would not recommend this restaurant during COVID-19. People were unmasked standing near the bar in groups, the tables were very close together, and there was no outdoor seating or windows open. We left as soon as we saw that there weren't many (if any) measures taken to protect patrons against contracting COVID. The menu looks great, but we'll maybe try again when there isn't a pandemic.

Our 2nd time at The Palm; we love the people, the ambience, the menu (Mister Ed, when he’s playing) but we’ve the same two issues both times. They do not time the courses correctly and so the salads come out before the apps are done and the entree comes out before the salads are down. Also they tend to overlook their meets - probably because they’re sitting under a heat lamp as we’re finishing our salads. But we will be back and have learned to not even order our next course until we’re done with our current one. Menu is great, wine list is a bargain and the wait staff is too-notch. If they could only pump a/c into that outer room everything would be great!!

Anniversary

The food was excellent. I had the special which was steak and lobster. I ate the lobster and took the steak home. I always enjoy the food and dining experience.

This was my second time in this restaurant. I went there with my friends and we had great time and enjoyed the fabulous food. This time I took my husband and he was impressed as well with the food and ambience. We leave in LA and this restaurant is great and can compete with good restaurants in LA area. Good Job!

Amazing food and service.. even during Covid the resturant was elegant, and food was delicious! We had an AC unit next to our table to keep us cool.. highly recommend The Palms!

Top notch in every way. Delicious food that is beautifully presented

This restaurant didn’t have a table open for us. They told us we’d have to wait 45 minutes. They then offered to seat us outside, at the edge of the curb next to the parking lot. Note that I’m not referring to a patio or even near the entrance. But opposite the fountain which sits between the entrance and the parking lot. We declined. As we waited another couple entered and the guy told the host that he had a reservation for 7:30 (as we did also) and he was told the same thing we were told. They were offered the table that we declined and they took it. Please note that while there were other tables outside the entrance only ours was so far opposite the door that one leg touched the curb of the parking lot. It was bad.

My suspicion is that their reservation availability with you hasn’t been altered since COVID-19 leading them to appear to have many tables open that they cannot realistically fill. This is lazy and correctable by them. We had not dined there previously and won’t go back for a long while.

I always feel like royalty when I dine at The Palms. The service, food, and atmosphere is unequaled!

This was our first time at The Palms and we will definitely be back. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions we had to eat in the patio area and it was pretty warm. But everything else was great and we look forwArd to returning when/if things ever return to normal. Our martinis were excellent, the appetizers were very generously side, delicious and reasonable prices. Actually everything was very reasonable, especially the wine. We found the wine selection and pricing to be an excellent value. Mister Ed, the piano player was great, and our waitress, Knarik, was as well. Our only complaint was that our salads came out while we were still eating our apps, but that’s wasn’t a big deal. My lamb was excellent and prepared correctly and my wife’s moussaka was very good as well. Our daughter is at Fresno State, so we aren’t in town often but The Palms will become a regular spot for us whenever we are.
