The Palm West Side

This is one of our favorite lunch spots. It attracts a sophisticated crowd. The food choices are inviting. The waiter was most accommodating.
Thank you Iris, we appreciate great your feedback and hope to see you again soon!
This reservation was for my wife's birthday. Staff members friendly and professional. Sever was patient and helpful. We had our daughter with us. First time out for higher end Resturant. Would suggest more choices for younger kids.
It was amazing all around!
2 new dishes-bucatini and the short ribs-were surprising fabulous. Veal parmigiana always excellent. Very happy
Server was attentive. Food came out in a timely fashion. Meal was great except for the dessert. The Chocolate Layer Cake was stale. Disappointed in dessert but otherwise nice dinner.
Our waitress had no information on anything. She kept having to go and ask about specials or the way something was prepared. The special (steak and crab) was overpriced and underwhelming. The crab HAD to have been frozen and the steak cut so small for $75!!!
Classic New York steakhouse. Highly recommend for before theatre dining.
Our server Diana was exceptional. But of course the food was most important and very good.
The service and food were outstanding! Very close to the theater and parking. I strongly suggest this establishment.
We had wonderful time celebrating my mother’s birthday; food and service were excellent!! Was one of our best experiences at any of the Palm restaurants.
Excellent evening especially Anna Marie, our server.
I've been going to the Palm since I lived in LA in the 70s. With few exceptions the Palm is always wonderful. There is just no competition.
The food is always amazing--Menu covers all choices
Wine list is extensive Side dishes particularly the potatoes and creamed spinach'are outstanding
Due to time restrictions I have not had the chance to sample the dessert menu
I recommend it highly --
Food quality, preparation & portion size. Wine variety & quality.
Super food lobster and steak never disappointed great location for pre or post theater. Service and food were excellent
Hostess neglected to follow up with us at the bar to seat us. We ate at the bar given our tight schedule and the bar service was slow and unnattentive. The food was mediocre; horrible salad presentation and quality. Poor cut of steak and over cooked.
My strip steak was very good and done perfectly
My wife’s filet was disappointingly tasteless.., may have been because she had to send it back as it did not come out medium rare
Dinner for a group of 10 in a private room. The best experience ever!
Great service and food was excellent
The Palm is an excellent choice for pre-theatre dining. The service is outstanding, the food is exquisitely prepared, and the overall experience is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend the steaks and chicken parmigiana. And the martinis are good, too!
This is not the original Palm which is of course a landmark. It is a part of the expanded chain of named restaurants.I have been here before, and sought it out when I needed a more sedate setting for a business lunch. This definitely fill the bill. Yes, it has the same cartoons on the wall of the various celebs, but with much more room, a modernized setting and some quiet. All quite different except the food which is always consistently good, and the service which was quiet, solicitous and efficient. Definitely recommended
Felt a bit rushed when I was dining but the food was awesome and we made the best of it !
The Manager Dee, was incredible in assisting my mom with her order and making her Birthday extra special! She even made sure my mother was satisfied with her wine and let her have a small wine tasting, until it was to her liking! It was the best experience I've had at any restaurant. Outstanding customer service top to bottom.
Food is wonderful! Service was very good... they forgot an item (wouldn’t mention it other than that one can be picky when paying these prices).
If you’re going to complain about price as some others, here, have, you didn’t read or understand this is a mid-top tier restaurant. The price does reflect the quality!
Never disappointed.... great food.... excellent service.... I will be back.
Never disappointed always satisfied!!! Love this place
Wonderful, well priced lunch menu. Great for pre theater lunch.
The salad with ahi tuna was nasty. The dressing tasted like corn syrup mixed with sugar and the tuna was tough to chew. The greens lacked flavor and the orange slices had rind left on. The wontons were stale. My clients each ordered salads which were prepared incorrectly and had to be remade. The restaurant was empty and so the wait for the salad redo was too long. Ans I ended up not eating at the same time as clients. I will not come back.
We sat in the bar area. Wanted to be served within an hour to make a show. Ordered a hamburger and a Gigi salad- delicious, flavorful and perfectly prepared. The Gigi salad is a well earned classic. Our server took care us to assure that we were Well within our needed time line. She was attentive and pleasant.
I recommend the Palm for all theater goers who want a quick meal before going to see their show.
Always a treat and a great place if someone in your party is vegetarian...best sides ever
The food is amazingly delicious...all 4 of us agreed. Our wait person was good but sort of petered out by the time for dessert. Another person picked up the slack, so that was well handled.
Branzino & creamed spinach get big thumbs up.
Under cooked steak after explicit temperature request. Removed the boneless ribeye which was offered for years
Terrible service. Food wasn’t great. Very disappointed.
THE FOOD WAS GOOD,BUT VEAL CHOP SPECIAL WAS MISSING PROSCIUTTO.THE WAITRESS HAD TO BE TOLD THE BOTTLE OF WINE WE HAD WAS THE SPECIAL WINE OF THE MONTH FOR 837 MEMBERS.
in N.Y. for holiday. Historical restaurant, beautiful environment, kind service, but anachronistic about what is offered compared to the cost. If you order a $ 52 steak you get a steak with absolutely nothing nearby. no salad, no sauce, no potatoes. if you want something you ask and pay for it. in my opinion it does not exist. we won't be back
Great filets, some mix ups w/ who had ordered which, and getting coffee instead of espresso, and them not having Malbec by the glass because “the wine list is changing.”
Such a fantastic experience! Food was extraordinary. Decor is wonderful. Worth every effort to go for a meal worth remembering.
Always Great staff very personable !
The place may be famous and around since 1926, but it is a scam! French fries for $14.50? Really!! And they were not even hot when they arrived. The lobster salad had pieces of lobster that was cooked days ago. It also had limp lettuce, watery tomato pieces and browned avocado and little or no dressing. We asked for seltzer from the bar and got 2 small bottle of club soda - for $9. The total - no dessert, no coffee - nothing else - was over $75 with taxes and a tip. Among the least memorable lunches in NYC. Avoid it!!
