Lousy service...slow and inattentive. Main entrees and side dishes mediocre, given the price. Not your father’s Palm.
We are long time Palm fans, originally from Second Avenue.
Service was very bad. Hope they get it together soon.
All was great ~ I didn’t feel rushed, which I really appreciated. Had a 4:30 reservation which upon arrival we had the place to ourselves. Within the hour the place got packed but we didn’t even realized it. There was sound but it wasn’t over powering. Great spot for a night out.
Ordered a 5 lb lobster
It was overcooked
The lobster was dry
Not like the past lobsters I had there in the past
for the price the lobster should have been cooked correctly
The food was amazing and the service was too. Always a go to ore Covid so very happy to be back finally!!!!!
I ordered a 14 ounce sirloin steak cooked medium rare and it was inedible. The steak was dry and tasteless. I am a long time fan of the Palm but this would take me away from dining at the Palm. I send this note, not as a complaint but to let you know about my recent experience on June 7 dining at the Palm.
I have been coming to this Palm for years. Service not great and food equally not great, overpriced for what they offer. Too many other great choices. Benjamin’s for sure on my next trip, now a bit pricey but worth every penny!
We were extremely disappointed with the Palm. This WAS one of our favorite places to go...no more. On a Saturday night what steak house does NOT have prime ribs OR BAKED potatoes!!! We'll take our business to one of their many competitors
The food was perfectly prepared. Service was pleasant and all around a great dinner.
We were excited to go back to the Palm, even though we knew it had been sold to Landry’s. For the most part, it was great. However, we were disappointed that the Palm’s 1000 island dressing - maybe the best in the world - is no longer available. No more onion rolls either. The chicken parmigiana is still good, but a little thinner and smaller. The sauce was not quite the same either. It is sad to see an institution like the Palm change, but it was still a nice meal.
Great food. Nice experience & service. The seat was a little crooked.
We celebrated our friend’s marriage since we couldn’t be there for their wedding due to Covid. Salam as always made it a special evening!
Great food and ambiance.
First time to west side Palm, much better than the old east side. Everything was very good.
Great service and terrific steak and 4LB lobster.
Gigi salad was a disappointment, however.
Enjoyed lunch here today. It was gourmet but not too fussy. They have a two course lunch special with several choices. One of us had the 6oz filet and the other the chicken parmesan. I like how the booths here are so private.
Always good food with Broadway ticket prices. Under new ownership but has the same old favorites....the best for steak, potatoes, creamed spinach, shrimp Bruno, etc. Italian entrees, pasta and seafood also available.
We loved the booth they gave us. The gnocchi was terrific and so was the chilean sea bass. Even the creamed spinach was delicious.
The service was perfect. I like how the waiter was always available but did not constantly interrupt us.
Excellent all around but for the 2nd visit in a row, entree and sides came out 5 minutes after appetizers. Unacceptable!
The food and service were both phenomenal as usual.
As always outstanding service. Dee and her staff did a wonderful job...it was great to be back NYC
We haven’t been to the Palm in a few years. The service was amazing and food was delicious as it used to be. Thank you
The Palm never disappoints! Service and food were off the charts!!
Great food and service
Best lobster in NYC. Monday salad is wonderful, save room for the cheesecake
always one of our favorite stops for dinner and drinks
Outstanding. We were a party of four and were prepared to cut them some slack in
light of the recent opening after the pandemic. No need. While their menu was slightly trimmed in light of the recent reopening, their actual dishes were of a piece with the outstanding menu items of the past. Good quality food, old favorites, generous portions and a wait-staff with just the insouciance one has come to expect at the Palm
Only one request: Bring back the Prime Rib, please (!!!) It was one of their outstanding menu items of the past and a favorite of old diners at the original Second Avenue Palm and Palm Too.
Went for a late night dinner and food wasn’t made with same care as expected from Palm. Both steak and sides needed to be sent back to get right. Very disappointed in this location.
Waiter was nice but unresponsive to maki g sure things were progressing smoothly, several misfires to bring the requested wine bottle, and the food was quite marginal, very very bland, and a chicken parm that was close to awful. If I didn’t recall the restaurants hey days and the exorbitant prices I would be less critical, but still not go back.
Graduation dinner with large family group. Private room, great attention and service. Very accommodating. Delicious high quality food.
Consistently great food, great service and great management.
Outstanding. Very safe. Delicious. Incredible service.
wonderful dinner - great steakhouse with great service. Always a pleasure to dine here.
Great meal and professional service
This is the best and most consistent strip steak and while I have tried and go to many other steakhouses this is my go to place for over 20 years.
Never disappointed! Service and meal were off the charts.
We had a reunion with b out of town family and met at the Palm because it was convenient for our visitors. We were treated beautifully by our server, Fabiola. The food and service were great. Thank you!
Kelsey was absolutely amazing! did everything to help me have a great experience. Food was beyond good. I loved it all.
I love this steakhouse. Obviously, it is pricey if you don’t live in NYC however the quality is absolutely worth the price. This was my second time there and I can’t wait to go again. If you’re in midtown and don’t mind spending money for a quality dinner, you’d be hard pressed to find a better place.
Lunch at is best, great food selection and quality, very clean and service was excellent thank you.
