I was excited to dine at The Palm, making reservations weeks in advance before our trip. Neat atmosphere. We sat right away. Water and bread were brought to us immediately. We then sat for 30 minutes with no further interaction from any of the staff. There were literally 4 tables of people total in the dining area. Orders were being placed, drinks served and wait staff walked around us with zero attention or consideration towards us. We left. They tried to “make it right” and convince us to stay by offering a bottle of wine. The experience was ruined at this point. We won’t return.

I've dined here at least 100 times since 2003 and every exeperience is great! The food is top notch! My steak was cooked perfectly! Our server, John, was fantastic and consdering he had our table and 5 others, he really hustled to keep us happy. He's a credit to The Palm and its promise to deliver a great dining experience. We will be back real soon!

We enjoyed the seasonal lobster special. Expensive but outstanding! The excellent food, service and staff, who has been there for decades, always nakes for a memorable evening.

This is a high end steakhouse chain and while the food was good the quality of the steak was less than Ruth's Chris, Bob's or the Capitol Grille. Nonetheless it is a wonderful meal, albeit pricey. When I worked in DC years ago this was a go to restaurant. It is good, don't get me wrong, but it was exceptional in the old days. We went on a Tuesday night and it was noticeably quieter than I remember. Perhaps that's because they were working on a tax bill on the Hill and many lobbyists, Members and staff were otherwise preoccupied. In any event, you cannot go wrong with the Palm.

Our server, Sean, was lovely and very attentive, answering our questions and chatting with other patrons. He made for a pleasant dining experience.

The Palm continues to provide a consistently high quality dining experience. For a top notch steakhouse, the Palm offers other notable dishes such as the Parpadelle that I ordered. My waiter was excellent as he always is.
