Service was slow . Salmon was tasteless. Table next to us too close .
Great lunch with good, safe service!
Excellent everything. Great dining experience
Birthday. The singing and the card were a nice touch!
Normally an excellent restaurant with amazing food. This time, steaks way overcooked, grilled asparagus chewy and not good mashed potatoes. Hope it was just the night or a new cook but definitely not going back.
Service has not changed.... consistently excellent....
had lunch, sat on the glass enclosed patio with the doors open... Perfect...Reggie and his team were on their game!!!! The Palm... count on it!
Rick was our server and he made the experience unforgettable
Awesome birthday dinner! We were treated like royalty.
The food was marvelous! Good serving sizes and the perfect temperature, exploding with flavor. The service was great, though having to ask for a steak knife when a member of my party was served a steak without one was a bit of a bummer. We were offered seating options, but regretted our decision when a family with a small child sat at the next table over. Though it is not the restaurant’s fault, it completely killed the dinning room’s vibe every time the child screamed. I think, had there not been a screaming child, the evening would have been perfect (I blame the child for the server being anxious making him forget the knife). But, here we are.
Going to The Palm is like visiting a friend’s hone. The staff is engaging, friendly and professional. The food is delicious and the ambiance is unique. It’s a personal favorite!
This dinner did not meet The Palm standard and we were disappointed on our special event evening. While our server was a pro, he had too many tables to give the high level of service we have come to expect. We sat a little longer than was comfortable and refreshed our champagne glasses from the ice bucket ourselves throughout the meal. The food was disappointing. The beurre blanc was completely missing from an overcooked soft shell crab and there was very little crab on the steak Oscar - although the filet itself was enormous and well prepared. The Gigi salad was underdressed. My lobster was very good but the accompanying spinach side I asked for never appeared.
It was a very “meh” dinner given the cost. We’ll not be in a hurry to return this time.
This was my time here. Hubby bought me here for a romantic Anniversary dinner. The ambiance and food was great. Love the closed in view of the outside dining area. I will definitely return for another meal.
Traveled over from Baltimore to give The Palm a try and celebrate my son 21st Birthday. It was definitely worth the trip. Great management Team. They made sure it was an excellent experience for my son and the group
John was terrific as usual. Lado? Was also fantastic. Great chef, wait staff, runners, etc. top notch team.
Oysters are always fantastic. Chicken parmigiana as good as ever.
Definitely plan to return.
Anniversary dinner. Service was slow and food was just okay.
The food was excellent. The only place in DC to eat great lobster. Our waiter was great, but they had him over-committed to too many tables.
The food was good. The view outside is nice. Service was extremely slow. Everyone was professional and polite.
the service is impeccable. the food is absolutely delicious, not one bad option in the menu. The drink menu is great too!
We had a awesome time at The Palm. The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and the lobster was superb.
Our waiter Rick was the best. We will return.
Great food and service. Loud group near us made difficult to talk. Still a great Washington experience
Everything was great. Rich did an outstanding job as did his associates. Vincent was great, always happy to see John and the bartender.
Oysters, mixed salad and a new item, the volcano short rib.
Definitely worth it.
Always good John, the waiter, is the best. Mike is always gracious.
the pasta was great
Service rushed and not attentive for high level steak house. Food disappointing and not to excepted quality. Calamari over fried and not fresh; steak over seasoned.
The Palm never disappoints. The food was cooked to perfection. The portions were generous. The service was spot on.
Exceptional food and outstanding service.
The addition of lobster to the daily specials on a Friday in Lent was most welcome ... and delicious!
Excellent food highly recommend
John was great, food was great.
Didn’t know I had to call Landry’s to use my 837 points.
Seems a bit criminal and all to well thought out to take away from their customers. Landry’s 👎.
Very nice with delicious food located in the middle of DC
As always, lunch at The Palm was delightful! Thanks for the outstanding food and service.
Great food as always, our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for a a great dinner!
Through pandemic venue was expectedly quiet, Tomahawk steak was bone heavy making the meat smaller probably less than 24 ounces. $135.
The seafood posillopo came salty, lobster pieces cold and mussels not fresh. Scallops were best part. Understand slow business impacts, but at these prices, alterations should be made to maintain the level their price points demand. $70
Still miss the usually vibrant atmosphere but the food snd the service were spectacular - as always!
Worst place for dinner. The food is overrated. The steak was gross.
Honestly for a top tier restaurant I was extremely disappointed with service. I’m a huge DMV Foodie and I hate to compare, but I went to Ocean Prime the weekend before and assumed the same service should be matched at The Palm. We ordered drinks after about 7 min of sitting. The drinks came then it took about 14 min for are waiter to come Acknowledge that we were ready to put in an Appetizer. With Covid it clearly is not busy enough to be sitting with a water to wait that long unacceptable to me for a $400 Bill. I Expected the service to be extremely better that what I was given, for what I had put out with no problem. The food was good! But at a place like this it’s a given! That is why I gave it such a bad review (Star) it sucks because I had such high expectations for this place and planned to attend with business deals.
John(our waiter) was great
Our Valentine’s Day evening was romantic and the food was prepared to perfection!
