Had better steak at Long Horn and while the waitress was friendly and helpful, the rest of staff were rude and slow
New Year’s Eve
Long time Palm customers across the country, yet we continually struggle to have a good experience at their Tyson's location. I ordered a medium rare ribeye and was first brought a NY strip; sent it back and then was served a blood rare ribeye, which I tried to eat but couldn't. Ultimately, I passed on a steak or any entree. The calamari was disappointing (over fried, pretty sparse place) and the bisque didn't have much lobster meat. Two people in our party got lobsters and they were cooked perfectly; others got crab cakes (which seemed to be a good value since you get three) and veal parmesan, which also looked good. Service was disappointing; tried to pay part of my bill with a prepaid debit card and the server couldn't figure out how to do it. Overall, disappointed after paying that much, once a year, for a special occasion on NYE.
Been coming to the Palm for years and still love it! Had daily special shrimp appetizer with peppers-it was heavenly. Shared new york strip and alaskan crab legs with my husband for our entrees. Great wine list and really enjoyed the server. We decided we will be back for date night each month.
Just the best
Great service, great meal. Everyone was friendly, professional and courteous.
It was a busy Christmas Eve, but even so I wasn't prepared for the deafening noise level. Our server clearly wasn't happy to be at work and provided a minimum level of service inconsistent with the price point of the Palm. The sea bass was lovely, but the steaks at the table were lukewarm. I wouldn't return.
Our table was ready upon our arrival. The wait staff was immediately attentive and continued to be through our stay. The food was excellent.
Amazing service and fantastic food! The atmosphere is spectacular as well.
We've been going to Palm restaurants around the US for 40 years. The food is always wonderful. You never disappoint.
We had a great time. Service was superb. Food excellent. Keep up the good work
Perfect other than a bit loud. Great food, personalized service, and very welcoming surroundings. The lunch cried was animated and talkative. It didn't overpower, but was noticeable
Nice energetic atmosphere for a business holiday lunch meeting. Food was good. Service was very good- thorough and prompt with everything.
The Soup was bland, the steak was too rare. Service was very good
We chose the Palm to celebrate my husband's birthday, as he enjoys really good steaks. We had a lovely meal with attentive service. No complaints but nothing remarkable or exceptional either.
TIM is the BEST WAITER!!! Over all .. Food,Drinks and Service....FANTASTIC!!
Took a colleague there for business lunch. It was his first time and he really enjoyed it. The Palm Tysons Corner is consistently good. Good service, good food, good atmosphere.
Just right service.
I love this restaurant. Been going there 12-13 years. Great staff, great food, great environment. Really, you can't ask for anything more. When I have an important business lunch or dinner in Tysons, the Palm is my default choice.
Just like the Palm downtown. First rate service and dependable food. Always a great place for a special occasion.
Thanksgiving Turkey dinner was not nearly as well done as The Palm’s usual menu...
Great food, but the service did not match. The filet mignon was excellent along with the half lobster with a full bowl of clarified butter. But the service started energetically but was not consistent and at intervals slow.
A wonderful venue for Thanksgiving. Superb food a very attentive staff...a bit on the noisy side but manageable. Classy establishment
I love broiled lobster, but it was raw. I did not like it. “生焼け”.
We came to the Palm to take my daughter and boyfriend to dinner. We are from Connecticut and given my daughter’s love of steak, we thought she would appreciate it. She loved it and frankly, we all loved the food. I had veal Marsala and the others in my party had either filet mignon or sirloins. They were cooked perfectly and were great. We had salads, three of us had the iceberg wedge (which were fantastic) and my future son-in-law had a mixed green salad. We had the family style sides of mushrooms, fried potato chips/onions and the brussels sprouts. All the sides were great, just too much food. The waiter (Tim from Providence) was friendly, funny, and we talked a lot as he was familiar with our home town. Tim was probably the best waiter we have ever had anywhere and just a super nice guy. The only negative is that the food is expensive. We did not have any alcohol and the check was about $65 per person. For me, this is more of special occasion meal.
Sorry to say, but our waiter was arrogant and service was terrible from him. The guy that picks up the dishes was so nice, he should have been the waiter. Food over priced and poor value. I am not coming back.
Great service. Good food. A little loud for a business lunch as it was a bit difficult to hear. Overall recommend the Palm.
The filet was dry and French onion soup cold. Only good thing was the server.
Veteran’s Day Reunion
Food was well below acceptable. The steak and tuna was certainly below expectation.
Lobster was good but have had better.
Service was excellent and made the experience more enjoyable
Sean and Robyn at the bar are awesome!
as usual it was an excellent meal with wonderful service . i enjoy it on a regular basis.
This was our 12th visit to The Palm...shopping trip each year. Tim is the best manager and Mischka is always the best waiter. Food is fantastic and they treat us like queens. We drive from Virginia Beach and will continue to make the trek each year. None can beat them!!!!
The waiter was pedantic. He decided to tell us what medium-rare was. He served my prime rib medium rare, but my wife's filet was raw. Was seated in the rare of the restaurant where there was no ambiance. Next time I go to Morton's.
Food was great. Service was mediocre - not real attentive, and we had to refill our own wines glasses from the carafes/decanter because the service wasn't checking in. We got our check, which showed a total of $X. We presented a credit card, and when the credit card slip came back, it showed an amount of $X+Y. The server did not explain why the card was swiped for more than my check. I then studied the check and realized he had apparently left something off - but he didn't bother to explain it when he brought the credit card slip - and when I asked about it, he was totally unsymapathetic. The manager wasn't much better. Back to The Capital Grille for a more enjoyable and personal experience.
I dined at The Palm in D.C. for the first time. I sat in the bar because I wanted to watch the World Series game. The bar was fine and service was very good. I ordered the bone-in ribeye, which I normally order when I'm enjoying a steak. However, I was disappointed in the steak. It was not very tender and was lacking in flavor from what I expect from a angus prime ribeye, especially a bone-in cut. The wedge salad and potatoes au gratin were outstanding, but I would probably select another steakhouse on my next visit based on the actual steak.
DC Palm my is favorite Restaurant. Been eating there for over 20 years. When at our Tysons office I often schedule my business lunches at a Palm Tysons because it is great too.
