Food was excellent. We were celebrating a 59 th birthday that was noted in the reservation but not acknowledged-the restaurant shouldn’t ask for special notes is they don’t intend to even welcome those dining with a “happy birthday!” It was Sunday evening so quiet but service was unusually slow. Meal was perfect and delicious-service needs some work.

A great experience! Our family was there to celebrate Dad's 86th birthday and the service and meal couldn't have been better! Jeremy and the team provided great service -- he managed to our pace, the food, drinks and dessert all came out promptly -- he even took some family pics of our crew for us. Thank you for helping us celebrate such a special occasion -- The Palm at Tysons always delivers!

It was my wife's 69 Birthday and I wanted to make it an exceptional night out. My associate Pastor at our church is often the source I ask for restaurant choices and venues. He highly recommended the Palms for this festive occasion. The Palms was exactly what I expected, and much more. the experience, atmosphere, and the entire staff at the Palms are worth the time and enjoyment.

Our first time to this Landry establishment. High-end chain food is so predictable. Of the four steaks at the table, only one was a disappointment (med-rare was a true raw to rare), the filet was a hit but two prime ribeye's were wide and flat so no depth to the med-rare meat inside. The steak requested as Pittsburgh (charred) barely even had grill marks, too thin to cook properly with a nice char yet still med-rare inside. The sides were delicious and plenty for four. We had the three-cheese au gratin potatoes and grilled asparagus. The appetizers were fresh and tasty. Of course the wine we picked was out due to being so "rare and hard to get" so second choice was just that. Not a particularly curated list. Lots of quaff-able grape juice unless you want to spend four-figures. With 600 restaurants nationwide, Landry's has homogenized the Steakhouse landscape. Look a bit under the radar for the few indies still left for a much better experience.

Went for the 4 lb lobster special for 2. Upgraded to 5 lbs. It was very good. I was s little disappointed the loaf of bread they used to serve has been swapped out for small rolls, and they were out of Garrison Brothers bourbon for their Famous Old Fashion. but oh well . Service was very good. Lobster may have been overcooked a tad. Caesar and Blue cheese salad dressing s were to die for. I had lobster bisque and she had chicken tortilla, both excellent, but I would go for the bisque. Finally best taramisu ever had .

Service was great! Our waiter was extremely kind and relatable! He was very attentive and knowledgeable! We loved him. The only issue was that our steaks were extremely undercooked. Ordered a 32oz Tomahawk and 8oz Filet, both medium, and they came out very rare. We learned that the chef had left early that night, which made way more sense, as we have been here many times and have never had an issue with the temperature of our steak.

I usually love the food at the palm but something was very off this time. The steak was over cooked, I ordered the shrimp risotto and it was literally sticky rice with chopped up shrimp bits and so much lemon zest you couldn’t eat it. Chocolate sauce for the donut dessert was bitter and inedible.

An outdated concept. This felt like the TGIFriday's of steakhouses. Cartoon caricatures of icons of yesteryear cover the walls throughout the restaurant and really drove home the feeling that this restaurant is for Boomers. Our server was friendly and kind but it is clear that the staff has not been trained to provide unobtrusive service; it was NOT a fine dining experience. For example, she saw that the shrimp cocktail had been consumed and then interrupted our conversation to ask if we were done with the shrimp cocktail; a better approach would be to silently appear and then slowly reach for the dish. There were many instances like this. Empty dishes sat too long. The table had crumbs and it was never manicured. We ordered dessert and our server brought us dessert spoons but left our dinner plates in front of us (they had not been touched in well over 15 minutes). The service was clumsy at best. There was a piece of paper that fell off of a butter container and it remained on the floor for over 45 minutes. Staff kept walking over it. Not a fine dining experience. Would not recommend. Would not return.

Not the Palm of old. First time there since it was bought by Landry’s. Meat quality very poor, preparation lacking. Almost seemed to be reheated prepared food. My $70.00 plus bone in ribeye- thin and grey when served(ordered medium rare, which it was) Other steaks at the table also uninspired. At 500.00 for a party of four.. won’t be happening again. Sad - always had a great experience in the past. Was a go to for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations etc. Too many other great places to eat.

Waiter was fine...attentive & helpful. All of the food was terrible - no seasoning on anything. Was told chef didn't like to salt anything because of health issues for many patrons. Signature wedge salad had oily dressing (not blue cheese as in past) & was chopped up - not a wedge. Steaks were bland, veal parm was bland, & sauces were bland. Portions were way too large - everyone was carrying out multiple doggy bags. Way overpriced for the quality - not the Palm I have experienced in the past. They would do better to do more reasonable portions , make them high quality & adjust their outrageous prices.

The Palm NEVER fails, as the service is ALWAYS impeccable and memorable. The ambience and the setting is perfect for all occasions...especially the special ones like anniversaries and birthdays.
