The Palm Tribeca Ratings and Reviews
Birthday dinner which was absolutely perfect. Our waitress Brittany was one of the best waitress I have ever had the pleasure to serve me. Her professionalism and knowledge of everything was unbelievable. Thank you Brittany for making Debbie’s birthday dinner perfect.
I have eaten in this Palm restaurant many times (and other palm's) and each time is always delightful. Tony the waiter is friendly and easy to deal with the manager Chris who was out today is always a pleasure to meet and greet. Would recommend this place to everyone. The lobster is superb and tonight we also had the smokehouse prime rib bone in what a treat great tasting.
Phenomenal experience. Great service, food was very very good. Let them know it was a birthday dinner and they set up the table and made us feel very welcome. We ordered steak, veal, salad, and shared a dessert. Any small hiccups in the order they were overly apologetic in response and paid attention to every detail. Is it a tad expensive? Of course, but you'll be paying for an experience you remember for a long time. I will 100% be back sooner than later.
Met our son there for 4PM dinner. Very friendly hostess. Place had just opened so. It was empty. House red was delicious as was lobster soap and calamari. Steak was perfectly cooked, veal parm was delicious and salmon was perfect. Doughnut holes and peanut butter chocolate cake capped off the evening
I have been to The Palm Tribecs as well as other locations several times. The steak and lobster were outstanding however, the service was very disappointing. Our server Nadine was not at all pleasant and basically ruined a milestone birthday celebration. This occurred 2 nights ago and I'm still reeling from this. I do not customarily publicly comment on such things but I thought it best to do so this time since I felt that we were treated very poorly and I did not want to ruin the birthday celebration by reacting in the moment.
Great memories of the East Hampton Palm but this Palm was overpriced and seemed strangely quiet.
We shared a salad, brussel sprouts, a baked potato and the halibut entree, plus the flourless chocolate cake and coffee.
Nothing about any of the choices stood out.
The meal cost about $140. Again, we shared everything and did not have any alcohol.
Our waitress was delightful and made our otherwise meh experience much less painful than it would otherwise have been.
Overall the meal was good but it was very slow. It took so long to have someone take our order and get the food out. The linguine with clams was also a little bland and didn't have a lot of clams. The lamb chops were wonderful as were the sides. Our waiter was nice and good about my allergy which was appreciated.
The service was excellent, very attentive waiters who really went the extra mile. It was my brother's birthday and they decorated the table before being seated. For dessert, I think 5 ppl actually gathered to sing happy birthday. Downside was that the steak was good, not incredible. Pricing was not cheap!
On the weekends it is much less crowded, which is a good thing. It is a high end restaurant with a great atmosphere for groups or parties. The cold lobster and crab was great!! Plus the porter was delicious. I went on a double date and it was a really great time.
I only have positive things to say about the food - it was absolutely delicious. The steak was tender, cooked exactly as we had asked, and melted in your mouth. The appetizers were also very tasty.
The service, on the other hand, was disappointing. Our server was friendly, but it felt like she was constantly trying to upsell everything on the menu. I appreciate suggestions, but it was very commercialized and did not feel sincere.
I would recommend for the steak, but having been to other high quality steakhouses in the city, it would not be my first choice.
We shared a delicious 4 lb. lobster, and a very large baked potato. We started with chopped salads with the dressing of our choice. Bread is served and they serve French bread, onion bread and raisin pecan with soft butter. Service was excellent and we were too full for dessert. Dinner was a special for $99 and was well worth it. We've dined there several times before when they had their 4, 5, and 6 lb. lobster specials for $99, then $20 more for each extra lb.
Dinner and service are always top notch! We surely intend to return.
First time at TriBeCa Palm. Went for the $99 4 lb lobster special. Perfect evening. Beautiful restaurant. Fabulous service....and the food was amazing. The lobster special was a great deal, but the entire menu looked so good that we will definitely be back to try some other things.
The $99 lobster special for two is always fabulous, and this time was no different. For an extra $10, we opted for the 5-lb lobster to share. The lobster was sweet and flavorful. The service was attentive without being cloying. Having eaten at the midtown location, I prefer the TriBeCa location by far. The TriBeCa location has a friendlier and homier vibe. Management visits your table and inquires about your meal, the service, etc. I find the midtown location "stiffer" and "cold." In I'm eating at The Palm, I'm doing it TriBeCa.
We went for an annIversary dinner but before you knew it our two teenage boys wanted to join (they LOVE The Palm) and one brought a girlfriend. Delicious dinner and we were treated beautifully by Dominic and his staff - champagne toasts and dessert on the house. Who could ask for more for their 20th?!
Have eaten here before and will continue to do so. The food was great. Lobster 4 pounds for 2. Great value. Appetizer, salad and dessert. The watermelon salad was super as was the coconut seasoned scallops. Tony the waiter very friendly and accommodating as was the manager Christopher. Hot towels was that special touch that makes this place very special. None better anywhere.
Palm remains the standard for a NY steakhouse. There is as much attention to the details as there is to the main course. There is a consistent quality that is apparent in every aspect of the meal that makes Palm the perfect choice for special dinners. The staff is a credit to this venerable institution that keeps the steakhouse tradition alive and well.
Service was impeccable. Waitstaff was attentive explained the specials, recommended wine. My glass was never empty. Steaks were perfection The waygu steak was juicy, tender cooked to perfection. Sides were family style and plentiful. Ah the dessert donuts in a bag get it all the time. Great way to end the meal. Shout out to the hostess and manager. One of my favorite restaurants.
The lobster bisque, Caesar salad, and filet mignon were absolutely fantastic. The filet was so tender, and the bisque was just perfect. The skirt steak wasn't that great though, and the chimmichurri it came with tasted too strongly of only garlic. The cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake were both good.
