I have eaten here many times and am never disappointed. This time had the filet and the special veal entrée. Both were super and tender. The potatoes and shrimp were marvelous. The service was great as always. The manager Chris as always visited the table and the waiter Tony was very charming. Went to Broadway matinee and drove to Tribeca downtown to eat here well worth the drive.

Old favorite when we're in the city. Quieter than the other Palm's and more space, so it is very comfortable. Food is always very good... steaks are great. Had the lamb this last time and it was very good, but back to the ribeye for me on my next visit. The Paula Malbec was very good at the price.
It was great i definitely think there should be good ambient music The atmosphere was lacking because the lack of music and or volume.

Best Valentine's dinner! Menu for 2 was superb. Added a fab meat cocktail while we had champagne and then the bisque/salad, lobster and filet mignon. Chose the 3 cheese potatoes and added the mushrooms. When the desserts came ......well to be honest we each had 1bite just to taste and then took the rest home. Also took home some steak and veggies, enough for a 1 person dinner. Just GREAT! We love eating here at this location because the staff is top notch. Service is outstanding. Can't wait to come back!

The food was great but it did take a while for the food to get to my table almost a hour wait. Had to take my dessert to go because I needed to return back to work. It's good if you have an extended lunch break.
We came for a special reunion of old friends over lunch. The restaurant week menu was excellent with just enough to be satisfied. The restaurant was busy but quiet enough that we could always hear each other and there was no pressure to finish and turn over the table. Great for a two-hour special occasion lunch.
Poor Service, poor Entrees and no ambiance! Plus, a hair in one meal, really??? Incredible!
Went out to lunch with a friend/colleague. Francois was the waiter. He was excellent. He recommended an excellent red wine which both my friend and I enjoyed. Atmosphere and decor great. Will recommend and dine there again.
The Palm was fine. We went for restaurant week just to try it out. The meal was uninspired. The restaurant was not crowded so the noise level was low. Our bread basket was good, but the busboy took our bread and butter plates away after appetizer course. He left the bread basket though. Our main courses were well cooked, with a small garnish, so we added a side of mashed potatoes for one - $10.50. This was the fourth restaurant we tried for this restaurant week, and it didn't come close to the others. We did not try the steak so we can't rate the restaurant for that. For restaurant week the price was fine, but I wouldn't pay their regular prices for just ok food.
Love this place! The food is excellent (best lobsters in NYC), the staff is warm and welcoming (particularly Chris, the manager). Husband and I have become semi-regulars here. Highly recommend!

We had had dinner there a few years ago and we enjoyed it. This is why we decidd to return.
This time the food was substandard. The skirt steak was very tough and I had to return it. The filet mignon was mediocre. Very disappointing for a steakhouse. The deserts were stale and tasteless.

I brought my husband there foe his Birthday on 1/27. We were greeted by 3 people and immediately escorted to a table that was decorated with birthday card which waa a nice touch. The food was absolutely wonderful. The lobster mac and cheese WOW! Overall experience was 5 stars and worth every dollar sent!!
The best part of the meal was the chocolate seven layer cake and the drinks, otherwise the entire meal was not enjoyable. The bread was cold. The soup was tepid. The crab cakes were tasteless. The steak was dry and tasteless and the Mac and cheese was at best fair. The ambiance was nice but the overall experience was not worth it
Service was less than attentive. Drinks were weak. I’ve had the same quality food for a much more honest price.

Disappointed. I have been to this Palm several times with no issues. This time, the service was slow even though they were not busy. I ordered a well done porterhouse. It came cooked medium rare. Sent it back. Came back way too quickly and was medium. Didn't feel like waiting any longer since we had been there too long already. I will go back and hope that was a fluke.
We all had the Restaurant Week menu; scallops, fillet and pasta. All were delicious! I would have rather not had the bone on with my fillet. Other than that everything was perfect.
Service and food at the Palm TriBeCa is slipping! I ordered the chicken chop chop and the chicken was so dry. And the wait time before the donut holes came out was way too long. There were 4 ppl and we all ordered salads and no starters then the donut holes and we were there for 2 hours. Then was back this past feb 6 as part of a Larger group and again it was a bumpy service. There was a salad missing from the order. Then a diff version of the same salad was served. Then all the silverware was removed and not replaced after the entrees were served. We took knives off a nearby table. And the sig chicken parm was tough and really needed effort to cut thru w/butter knives. Then several glasses of water had things floating in them like the pitchers hadn’t been cleaned or the ice was dirty. Desserts came out in 2 rounds. And after all were finished w/dessert, then the coffee came out.
Not sure what’s going on at the TriBeCa location but will be a while before I opt to go back. The best of them is the east hampton location. Always 5 stars across the board there.
Much of food was good, but advertised "filet mignon" on Restaurant Week lunch menu was NOT filet mignon, else they have invented their own version! Would have questioned and sent back, but was with work colleagues, had time constraints, and did not bother waving down busy waitstaff or manager. Advice to restaurant - just don't offer it!
Went there specifically for the chicken parmigiana and was disappointed. I had that dish in the Palms restaurant in the Tropicana at Atlantic City which was fantastic.

Me and my husband visited the restaurant last Friday.
We shared a porterhouse steak and appetizers. I'm pregnant so I requested my meat well done.
What I received was burnt with pieces of charcoal... We got a discount on the bill, but I would have preferred to get the nutritional value of a good steak that I was craving .
Have dined here many times and it is always great. Food is great lobster and steak top the list.
Shrimp cocktail and clams were tasty. Veggies are enough for two people. Manager Chris and his staff are always on top of everything. This time the regional manager was in the restaurant and he to was very friendly, just the style of business making everyone feel like family. I travel from New Jersey and I will come back and suggest that everyone go here for all the right reasons.
First time going to The Palm & not receiving the outstanding service we’re accustomed to getting. For this kind of money, service better be spot on & it just wasn’t. Also first time ever getting their famous prime rib & underwhelmed by the flavor profile. It’s usually first bite blows your taste buds away. I actually had to add salt which in 15 years, I’ve never had to do. Also got the “creamy NY Style Cheesecake” ~ again not so much. Every bite I took crumbled. It was impossible to get it on the fork. Creamy, fresh cheesecake does not crumble like this did. Super disappointed.

The service was very good, and the waiter was very attentive. I was not thrilled with the steak . I asked for medium, and it was over done. the desserts were so-so.
