The Palm Tribeca Ratings and Reviews
Have dined here many times and it is always great. Food is great lobster and steak top the list.
Shrimp cocktail and clams were tasty. Veggies are enough for two people. Manager Chris and his staff are always on top of everything. This time the regional manager was in the restaurant and he to was very friendly, just the style of business making everyone feel like family. I travel from New Jersey and I will come back and suggest that everyone go here for all the right reasons.
First time going to The Palm & not receiving the outstanding service we’re accustomed to getting. For this kind of money, service better be spot on & it just wasn’t. Also first time ever getting their famous prime rib & underwhelmed by the flavor profile. It’s usually first bite blows your taste buds away. I actually had to add salt which in 15 years, I’ve never had to do. Also got the “creamy NY Style Cheesecake” ~ again not so much. Every bite I took crumbled. It was impossible to get it on the fork. Creamy, fresh cheesecake does not crumble like this did. Super disappointed.
We were seated within minutes of our arrival. My husband and I asked for a cup of coffee to warm ourselves up before we ordered drinks. Our server warmed the milk for us. I enjoyed sitting in a restaurant where the chatter level was very low. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful lunch
Not everyone gets a hit every time at the plate. Unfortunately my Prime Rib was overcooked, but the management quickly recognized that and brought me out a replacement. The flow of the meal, however, takes quite a hit when that happens, so the timing is just thrown off and becomes awkward. The side order of fries were much greasier than I would have expected and they deducted that from the bill when they saw that I didn't care for them at all. Their previous performance has been much better, and the service was up to expectations, so I'll definitely try them again. I suspect I caught the chef on an off day.
Thank you for making my wife’s bday special. Great waiter- food. Only negative was the guy that cleaned table- dropped fork on my wife’s blouse & then when he went to clear dishes - he let blood juices from steak go over table cloth- disgusting. Our waiter had to cover it with another cloth so we could have dessert. Train your clean-up staff better
I often eat at this restaurant and always get warm greeting from Tony as well as great service.
Ordered Tuna dish, but very different from dinner. Menu didn’t described it well and server who took my order(not Tony) didn’t explain the differences.
Fish was much thinner and I asked for medium rare, but it was completely over cooked to medium well. When you cook a thin piece of fish, it can over cook very quickly.
But I still enjoy Palm for business and well as for my family.
We just had a terrific time at The Palm in TriBeCa. It was a snowy night after a visit to the Louis Vuitton Exhibit with my family. We were all hungry and cold, but looking forward to lobster and steak at The Palm. We were served a delicious appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops with a light sauce that was incredible. We ordered a 32oz. tomahawk ribeye along with a 5lb. lobster and sides to share among the 4 of us. We also enjoyed a magnum of Symmetry Cab, and then went on to a carrot cake for desert. You couldn’t ask for better food quality and service. Chris, Shermila, and their team did an absolutely wonderful job for us. This is a definite place to stop while in NYC.
From the moment we enter the professional hospitality is evident. Warmly greeted. Wait staff excellent. Very extensive wine list by 6oz,9oz or bottle. Portions are huge , sides family style. Most important delicious. Never rush you. The manager(s) always walk around for the personal touch.
Birthday dinner which was absolutely perfect. Our waitress Brittany was one of the best waitress I have ever had the pleasure to serve me. Her professionalism and knowledge of everything was unbelievable. Thank you Brittany for making Debbie’s birthday dinner perfect.
I have eaten in this Palm restaurant many times (and other palm's) and each time is always delightful. Tony the waiter is friendly and easy to deal with the manager Chris who was out today is always a pleasure to meet and greet. Would recommend this place to everyone. The lobster is superb and tonight we also had the smokehouse prime rib bone in what a treat great tasting.
Phenomenal experience. Great service, food was very very good. Let them know it was a birthday dinner and they set up the table and made us feel very welcome. We ordered steak, veal, salad, and shared a dessert. Any small hiccups in the order they were overly apologetic in response and paid attention to every detail. Is it a tad expensive? Of course, but you'll be paying for an experience you remember for a long time. I will 100% be back sooner than later.
Met our son there for 4PM dinner. Very friendly hostess. Place had just opened so. It was empty. House red was delicious as was lobster soap and calamari. Steak was perfectly cooked, veal parm was delicious and salmon was perfect. Doughnut holes and peanut butter chocolate cake capped off the evening
I have been to The Palm Tribecs as well as other locations several times. The steak and lobster were outstanding however, the service was very disappointing. Our server Nadine was not at all pleasant and basically ruined a milestone birthday celebration. This occurred 2 nights ago and I'm still reeling from this. I do not customarily publicly comment on such things but I thought it best to do so this time since I felt that we were treated very poorly and I did not want to ruin the birthday celebration by reacting in the moment.
