Always enjoy going to the Palm. Wonderful food and everyone is so helpful and attentive.
Excellent steak in NYC experience.
Love the Palm Tribeca. Food always good and service outstanding. Kelli the bartender attentive and made some good drinks. Always a good wine selection available with some rare finds and great year vintages. Othman our waiter was great as well. I have been going to this Palm since its opening and have found their service reliable even when some of my favorite people have moved on.
We were bit Palm Too fans. Midtown Palm too commercial but Tribecca great. Bit of a hassle to get there but worth it. Food, service , ambience perfect. Value always a challenge but , hey, it is the Palm.
Great service and great food. Highly recommend. We love the Palm Tribeca.
Perfect place for a birthday celebration. The staff could not have been any more accommodating and the food was delicious as always!
The staff and the food are both predictably outstanding as we are frequent fliers.
First time there with family from out of town. Everyone enjoyed the food. Our server and the service was great.
Poor service…. Probably reflective of national shortage
Tuna 🍣 poke needs more flavoring.
A very evening have a family dinner at the Palm.
Top notch place and everything was absolutely wonderful there.
Great food. Great service. Witnessed great service for other tables as well. Staff was kind and courteous. Good was delicious. We had a fantastic meal.
Great will be back
On a subsequent trip to the Palm, I was deeply insulted by the hostess and will not be returning to this location. Well the way it is bartenders and host or wonderful it just takes one person to run an experience.
Struggling I suppose. Not busy but the service doesn't have to suffer. Host stand abandoned at 8 pm even though we made a reservation. Then server ignored us for 30 minutes after we finished eating
Lovely restaurant. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and the staff was very accommodating. They had a table set up with happy birthday signs and they brought out a delicious dessert with a candle. I recommend the wedge salad. It was huge and delicious. I couldn’t even finish it. I had the Chilean sea bass and my boyfriend had the New York strip; both were delicious. The staff was also very nice and everyone wore masks. My only complaint is the dress code. Even though it says business casual many people in the restaurant came in with shorts, baseball caps; very casually dressed . I thought I was at an Applebee’s! A couple even came in with a three-month-old baby in a carriage. I know that the restaurant probably didn’t want to refuse people because they need the business but it really did bring down the tone of the restaurant. My boyfriend and I were dressed up and it would have been nice to see other people dressed that way also.
The food was top notch and pricey! Great service and a relaxed atmosphere. If $ is of no concern, you will not be disappointed with the food, but for the $ there are better restaurants
It walks like a duck and sounds like a duck in this case, it isn’t a duck.
Was my first time at the Tribeca location and won’t be the last. The porterhouse for 2 was outstanding! Service was wonderful!
I used to come to the Palm and it was always so nice. Not anymore. Came for the fixed price menu (I received an email advertising it) when I came and asked about it they had to check with the manager who said it was an option (though not on any of their menus) and then the whole attitude of staff changed. Had to ask for bread. The food was awful. I heard that management/owners changed. It shows and I won’t be back.
Let’s keep this short. Food was great, atmosphere was great, staff was friendly and attentive. Drinks were great.
Just one grip: it was my girlfriend’s birthday, we were expecting the server to sing her happy birthday like all the severs did to their table but that never happened :(.
All in all great experience, will return.
Great meal, amazing service and the perfect atmosphere.
We have been to the Palm many times before the pandemic. It was always excellent.
Now, the menu is very tiny-and the prices have increased significantly. $103.50 for a bone in rib eye that used to be about $70. No tuna on the menu- which I always ordered either as an appetizer or main course. Appetizers were shellfish or pork(bacon). Nothing vegetarian. There were 4 salad options. Price for side dishes went ip to $16 each.
Not sure how often I will go back
Excellent in every way.
I was very surprised that we marked “celebration” on our open table reservation at the Palm, yet no one at the palm acknowledged the occasion. The open table reservation even asked us specifically what was the celebration, so I was very specific that my friend had a book deal and a new radio show. Yet, no one at the palm even acknowledged it.
We enjoyed returning to the Palm. The food was great and the staff were very attentive. The professionalism by the manager and by Craig our server were without a doubt what we felt was beyond their normal duties in making our 47th Anniversary dining evening a success. The Palm has and will always set the standard for excellence in dining experience.
Our waiter Craig was excellent! I was there with a very good friend to celebrate our birthdays. We shared the 4 pound lobster and it was delicious!
Great experience! Highly recommend
I am not sure why the host here is always unpleasant/unfriendly. I originally thought it was because we had children and they don't like children in their restaurants. However, after I did some more observations, it seems the host here are just not happy. They act like we (customers) are a bother. The waiters are always nice though.
The food was very decent. The bread was warm and nicely done. My kids had squids, fries and steaks (9 oz, 12 oz filet mingon, and 24 oz ribeye) and I had steak tartar and sea bass last night. We enjoyed the food (but the steaks as always are slightly too salty).
Overall, we prob will not come back here again. We eat out a lot and really want to like this restaurant since we live so close to this restaurant. However, we have tried this place 3 times and we never feel welcome here. There are many nice restaurants in Tribeca that welcome us warmly. And many times we are recognized by the hosts and their general managers, giving us free desserts, apptizers, etc.. I do not feel the need to come back to Palm and feel unwelcomed.
Loved the bartender
I love the Palm restaurants, and I really appreciate the stress restaurants are under right now... however, because this is quite a high priced restaurant, I cannot recommend it right now. The food was literally barely edible. Some was cold, some was literally dripping all over the plate in a huge mess ... the staff, while trying, are clearly very new and untrained.
Again, I wish the Palm all the best, but I would not recommend it until they have some time to get their act back together, as it's a huge waste of money and time.
As repeat customers of The Palm Tribeca I can say this latest dining experience was less then desired. We used to be able to brag how we have never had a bad meal at the Palm ever. Obviously since changing hands the place has gone downhill. We had to ask for bread! My Mother in law had to return her steak as it was the wrong temperature 2xs! Some of the staples are no longer on the menu, our thick cut bacon appetizer (x2) came out burnt. It was a very disappointing evening.
It was my nephew’s graduation dinner for a party of 5. The waiters were attentive, and polite. The food was delicious. However, we were a little disappointed that some of our favorite dishes are no longer on the menu (i.e., goat cheese mashed potatoes, creme brûlée, and the donuts). Also, although the Cesar salad and the lobster bisque soups were not on the menu, they were still available. Lastly, some of the guests complained about the AC being too high, and that they were freezing throughout the dinner. Unfortunately, the staff was not able to turn down the AC.
Everything else was wonderful, and overall everyone was pleased with the food and service. I will definitely return again, and I hope that some of our favorite dishes will make it back on the menu.
When we arrived the Restaurant was empty . The server took our drink order.
Approximately 15 minutes later we were finally served our drinks. We noticed a family that came in after we were served our drinks get their drinks & the server also took their food order. After 45 minutes from the time we arrived we requested someone to assist us. Another server apologized & he took our order. When I was given the check I noticed it was incorrect & brought this to our server's attention. He immediately corrected the error. We gave him our parking receipt to validate, as it stated on Open Table. Discount parking for the restaurant. The server was unfamiliar with getting the parking ticket validated. He had the manager handle it. The manager placed a sticker on the parking receipt and told us we were good to get the discount. We proceeded to the parking garage that was associated with the restaurant. They had NO IDEA about any discount. We returned to the restaurant manager and at this point he bowed his head and said that there is new management over at the garage and apologized offering us a $5.00 credit on the meal we had already paid for. That, in it self, was insulting but to allow us to leave with a parking receipt validated by himself and not explain to us the situation at the garage was very annoying.
I will never return to this restaurant.
Server was very nice, polite and respectful. Food was great
Buyer beware. This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The server explained the differences between cuts of steak by telling us that the more expensive options have more “meat.” The manager was scrolling through his phone at the host stand. Our table was never bussed and remained full of dirty plates until we left. Absolutely shocked about the poor service.
Great food and atmosphere- what more can ya ask for?
Great food, service is always on point, will be back soon
excellent as always. (Note menu changes now that it's Landry's portfolio. No Caesar salad, etc.)
