View Private Dining DetailsAmazing time at The Palm! Highly recommend the bacon appetizer!
Always a great experience. The service team of Kayla and Alberto are always tops.
Had the filet mignon Oscar style, the asparagus was cold, the steak was bleeding even though it was to be medium...this is my go to dish when dining out. However, I would not ever order this meal at this resteraunt again.
Great for business lunch, dinner or special occasion. I definitely would return to The Palm. Food was excellent. Service was great too.
The food was over-the-top delicious and it was a wonderful place to celebrate a family birthday!
My brother was in town and wanted to go to some nice restaurants. He had gone to Bohanan‘s the day before, so my wife and I took him to the Palm. He said the steak at the Palm was much better and more flavorful than the one at Bohannons. We all loved our meal .
Poor value quality vs price
Our waiter was absolutely amazing and the steak! To die for
out with triple date
great food
attentive staff
bren going fir 13 years
The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Wonderful menu. Service could not have better. Waiter anticipated everything we wanted and was never intrusive. Looking forward to going back.
The staff was excellent not interfering with personal conversation. Steaks and sides were excellent!!!
Great service
Sea bass average for $40+ dollars
Crab appetizer good but small
Excellent service and great lobster.
Our server Emily was great-very observant, knew when to ask us if we needed something but also knew to not come
By too often.
Overall, I was disappointed my experience at the Palm in San Antonio. I've dined at the Palm several times around the country, and most often in New York. As such, I've come to expect a level of service, quality and professionalism that supports the Palm's reputation and price point. The waiter was inattentive and brusque--not atypical at a high energy steakhouse, but at least they are friendly pros at Peter Luger's. My steak was served lukewarm on the outside. How does this happen? Furthermore, it may have been one of the most poorly selected prime cuts of NY strip I have encountered. It is fair to expect a lot from the service and food quality at the Palm, and the Palm in San Antonio failed on both fronts.
The evening of our visit the food took nearly 2 hours. Perhaps there was an issue in the kitchen, as it seemed the entire restaurant did not have food for an extended period.
Great everything!
Next time we’ll add a more comprehensive review.
Wonderful food and exceptional service!
Great service and excellent location if catching a show at the majestic theater.
The stakes we ordered were not worth the money we paid for them. One was tough and the other was not cooked the way I wanted. The both had no teats at all. We were very disappointed with the meal and the price we paid to have food not cooked well.
Always a great place. Steaks were on point and our server, Whitney, was very attentive...
We have dined at The Palm many times, for different occasions. The drinks, entees, desserts, are always deliciously prepared and expertly served. We will return many more times.
Hands down, one of the best dining experiences we’ve even had. The service was fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
Friendly, yet professional atmosphere and service. Our waiter, O.J. always does a fantastic job of taking care of our evening.
Excellent service and great meal...
Excellent from the moment we walked in to when we left. Wait staff very attentive and friendly highly recommend this establishment to all.
Delicious food and very attentive waiters, who realized we were going to the theatre and made sure we were served quickly...excellent restaurant!
Jeffrey and his team are incredible!
Traffic getting to and outside The Palm, San Antonio, was HORRIFIC. The valet service was overwhelmed and chaotic. I had to let my fellow dinner guests off outside the restaurant and drive around the block, park alongside the curb in a “No Parking” zone . I had to walk back to the restaurant’s valet service, give the attendant my key-fob and explain to him where I’d left the car as I was instructed to do.
Inside the restaurant was very bustling and busy. The food and service were very good but we felt “hurried”.
Always enjoyable- great service!
Always great service and food!! Very much enjoyed Kayla’s recommendations and ideas. Do really appreciate The Palm staying open late for desserts after the Broadway play next door at the Majestic.
Fantastic service from start to finish for party of 12 in private room. The private room was suggested by The Palm after the Open Table reservation was made, and I am so glad that I took them up on the offer at a very reasonable up-charge.
The food and wine pairings were delicious and staff help with selection and distribution of appetizers was appreciated. Antoine gave us plenty of attention without interrupting what was a lively and warm conversational meeting.
I highly recommend The Palm for business functions of this size, and where exceptional food, service, and ambiance are appreciated.
We went before our show for dinner.
Wait staff was very attentive especially knowing we were on a schedule. Our table order for the fam was Veal parm, chicken parm & steak and au gratin potatoes everything was delicious! Great overall experience don't know why we do not go very often but guess we'll have to change that!
Excellent as usual.
The Palm San Antonio is not at all like the other Palm restaurants in LA, Las Vegas, Dallas (now closed), Washington or New York. The food and service were disappointing and, while a Wednesday night might not be the best example, the place was deservedly empty. Strange lack of interest from the waiter. Had I not seen the signage I would have thought I was in just another mediocre, over-priced steak house. Someone is not doing his/her job on quality assurance and brand maintenance.
Good food and service but pricey! Was there on a Sunday evening and the crowd was light which made it good for conversation without being noisy
Excellent service and food, as always.
The meal was awesome. The bone in ribeye is a winner and the sea bass was terrific. Waiter very helpful with wine list
The service was exceptional. The food was delightful. The ambiance was decent. The staff was friendly and professional. The price was slightly higher than you would expect for the level of food that is on the menu. There’s no reason for an 8oz coke to cost 4.75 Would I eat there again? Of course. It’s a very nice place to have casual dining at upscale pricing.
