The Palm Nashville Ratings and Reviews
I sent a letter to corprateciffice, stating that the "Palm" in Tennessee was fantastic and in great hands .
The decore was amazing,I loved the portrait walls,I am a portrait artist and loved it so much.
We had the best time warmly welcomed after booking our table on line.
Our Waitress "Heather ",knew the menu, the drinks, great about wines..she was so wonderful, helping to make the evening perfect.
She highly recommended surf and turf..we agreed.
The 4lb lobster and filet mignon (Oscar)was the best ever.
Presentation,taste and cooked to perfection.
Your General Mmanager ,(I believe Bryan) came to our table upon request, and gifted me the wonderful "Titos " copper mug,it will be a treasure for me for years to come ,as a very s pecail occasion.
If we could we would love to go again some day...this was a very s pecail treat.
Very Very Noise restaurant. Food was way over priced for the value of product. Will not return. For a white table cloth restaurant. Waiter was not up to par. For a fine dining restaurant you would think the bread would at least be warm it was stone col. Waited longer then normal to get food. Just expected more for my money.
We were in town for the weekend and wanted a good steak dinner. This was one of the only places that still had a reservation time available. The atmosphere was very nice but loud. We found ourselves having to speak loudly which opened our conversation to the couple sitting next to us. I ordered the filet and my friend had the strip steak; both ordered rare. We decided both cuts were mediocre and a bit tougher than a $50+ cut of steak should've been. We left with our appetite satisfied, but not sure we'd go back again. The service was impeccable which made this visit a good experience.
We went to the Palm before a recent symphony concert and found it a very good experience, as usual. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. to start, my wife had the lobster bisque, which was very good; I had a wedge salad which was just OK as the dressing was strong, with an unusual favor. For our main course we each had a small filet, with mine being a special which included sautéed mushrooms and three bay scallops. The steaks were perfectly cooked, my mushrooms were outstanding, but the scallops were not good at all - very small, dry and without flavor. We shared carrot cake for dessert, which was just ok.
Overall, a very nice meal.
Food was very good we haven't been disappointed in the several times we have eaten there.
The mixed drinks were perfect and consistent on each order. They offer parking and was extremely handy as we had a concert we were attending ( you need to be back before 11 pm to retrieve your vehicle). I you have leftovers they they will hold those for you if you wish to take in the night life options. There closing time was 11 pm the night we went, was disappointed when we returned at 10:45 pm the restaurant closed early and we were unable to pickup our leftovers. Stay open the hours that you post!
The Palm is totally awesome! We drive 150 miles to Nashville and try the fine dining restaurants each trip. We have dined at The Palm for the second time this month because it is that good. The steaks are delicious as is the lobster and any other entree we've ordered. it is always hard to pick the sides as each one is perfect. There is no room for improvement with the waiters as they are all very attentive and helpful with any questions. We've dined here for years and it's consistently awesome!
We went for an early (5:30) dinner before a concert at Bridgestone. We were also celebrating my parents 32nd wedding anniversary. I had made a note of that in the reservation and our server was nice enough to mention it and wish them congratulations.
It was very busy with the pre-show crowd but our server assured us we would be done in time for the show, and we were. He was very engaging, funny and attentive, but not pushy. He offered several suggestions to my parents as it was their first time dining here.
Now to the food, the steaks were perfection! Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned and flavorful. We added the creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes for sides and they were hot and tasty. Overall a great meal and experience! We will be back.
our server was not the nicest and was obviously upset when two of us only ordered salads. even though the other 10 at our table ordered steaks! the lobster mac n cheese was amazing!!!! our drinks sat empty for a while before refilling. overall though it was good because its right across the street from the arena so it's convenient for before a show.... but definitely not my first choice restaurant.
Went for an anniversary dinner. I was shooting for somewhere quieter than most of Nashville's hot spots. I have dined at The Palm in LA, so I knew roughly what to expect. You will have a fine meal here.
To start off, our service was exactly what one expects at a high-dollar establishment. I have nothing but praise in that department.
We both ordered the same steak at the same level of "done-ness" - however, both came out at wildly different ends of the spectrum. They both tasted great, but for the money, it was slightly disappointing. I am sure our server would have bent over backwards to fix it, but I am not in the habit of sending back perfectly edible food.
The portions were fine. We were advised that 2 people can safely order the "individual" portion to share. That was fairly close...it depends on how hungry you both are....
Lobster bisque soup...meh...
Overall, it is a fine place to go. Be prepared for about 100-150 a person, but its pretty well worth it.
We were in Nashville from Colorado Springs and our son recommended The Palm restaurant. Not disappointed and Jayma was our hostess and was fantastic. Sorry to see baseball hats on and gym type shorts allowed! A upscale restaurant and guests dress like that!!!
I thought the noise level was much to erehigh with no music background. Although eat ththe steak was superb, I thought value wise was threefold over priced. Every side item was individually priced and a bit pricey. A couple cannot eat there for hardly less than $175. We had a steak each, 1 salad, 1 side and water. NO DRINKS! With top--$185.00
