The Palm Nashville Ratings and Reviews
We went on Tuesday and seen Prime Rib on the menu but only on Friday and Saturday so we came back Friday and had the biggest and best Prime Rib Ever it was huge 26 oz. and cooked perfect brought the left over home and have been eating it for 2 day. We will definitely be back for the Prime Rib the flavor was out of this word.
Everything was great... Only problem we had was that they tried to sit us at a very small tabke in a small dark corner, which was going to be a no no spending 200 dollars. We literally had to use our phones to read the menu, but after bringing it up to the waiter we were seated in a better area.
We went for Valentine's Day and it was fantastic! I had the filet and scallops special, and he had the lamb chops. Definitely try the mashed potatoes and the sweet potato rolls. I can't comment on dessert because we were so stuffed and unfortunately had to pass.
We had a reservation for a rare romantic lunch (we normally have small children in tow) - the hostess told us to hold more than once while she found us a table and we were then sat next to a loud party as well as the kitchen. Salads were paltry for the price, little effort put forth. I don’t expect the inedible parts of iceberg at a nice restaurant although the dressing was yummy. The entrees and sides were very good.
A bit dirty and unorganized. The drawing of the naked lady baring her breasts that’s behind the bar needs to go. I’m not a prude but it’s just offensive in this day and age. Sexists too. Would you put a drawing of a hunky naked dude on the opposite wall with his dick hanging down his leg? I think not.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and choosing the Palm for our anniversary dinner was a great decision. Our waiter, Steve, made our experience very special. He was professional, friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. Everything was prepared perfectly.
We decided to have our valentines dinner a day early. Had drinks in the bar and as usual they were great I love the top shelf patron margaritas they have the best in Nashville. Then had dinner I got the Filet mignon which was perfect and my husband had the Ribeye and as alway everything was cook perfect and very tender. Seen the Prime Rib on the menu but only on Friday and Saturday night so we had to come back Friday night and it was better than anything I could have imagined the flavor was out of this world but it is so huge 26 oz. plenty to take home and eat for days. The Prime Rib is my new favorite at The Palm.
Overall great experience. Recommend letting your guests eat and socialize. We constantly had waiters coming by and trying to take our plates with food still on them. Some people like to relax and eat at a slower pace. Definitely felt like we were being rushed at times, and there were plenty of available tables for other guests. Also, our waiter was good don’t get me wrong, but at some point the corny jokes and singing was a bit much. I mean we are all middle aged individuals and he at times talked to us like we had just left the nest egg. I love conversation but a not riddles to communicate effectively.
Excellent greeting and accommodating my request for a side room for less noise. This was a night the Predators were playing so it was extremely busy. Service was good but not great. Food was good as usual but not something that would take the prize. We came back after the game and sat in the bar. We had really good service but so loud I had a difficult time hearing others at the table.
I just moved back to Nashville after 6 years away. I previously would visit The Palm when living in Nashville but was mostly always eating bar bites prior to the preds game. My experience with the steak was just never great. I figured I would give The Palm another try and for a steakhouse serving $60 it is unacceptable to screw up a temperature, TWICE. Ordered medium rare, came up a solid medium well. Sent it back, which I rarely do and was quickly brought a replacement. I guess to overcompensate, this one came out rare, completely cold in the center. I ate around in the ends and took the rest home to my dog. Our food was comped but that was also bc the waitress forgot to put in our order so took at least an hour for food to arrive. Unfortunately, this was my last chance. They do have the best crab cake ever, some awesome bar bites, and a cool environment, but a steakhouse that has never been unable to deliver on the steak for me is a no go. Side note, if you plan on utilizing uber and there are any events going on at the Bridgestone, be prepared to walk at least two blocks. No way is this their fault but the city closes all the nearby streets so something to consider if you are coming in and out via Uber.
Just having a date night but compared to other fine dining experiences this one was just so so. I had the ahi tuna and asked it to come seasoned but without the sauce normally served. It came out completely plain so not much flavor. My wife’s steak was just ok but not special like what she has had at Ruth’s Chris. Felt very over priced for what we had.
Stopped here for dinner before a hockey game and had a great experience.
The veal parmigiana was excellent.
They have an impressive (and pricey) wine list.
Service was outstanding. They even held our leftovers in their refrigerator while we were at the game.
We will be back!
So, we came here following a concert at the Gand 'ole Opry because it was highly rated. Our waiter was fanastic and personable and our teen sons enjoyed hearing about the celebrities. The service was prompt and on point. However, our dinner was just okay. Honestly, it was not worth the price. We know good steaks and good lobster. We travel a lot and eat at nice restaurants often. This was run-of-the-mill filet at best, and not well seasoned. The lobster was just okay. The boys didn't finish their plates. The appetizers and tapas we had at the hotel eariler in the day were better. For the price, I had hoped to be wowed and have my taste buds singing. They were not. We wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend. I was unaware that this is a chain, too.
