Wonderful food and excellent service is always our expectation and experience at the Palm. Last night, Bailee our server, provided exceptional, courteous, and attentive service…..she was such a knowledgeable professional.
We've been going to the Palm for years, but this was the first time we brought our 9-month-old son! The staff was super accommodating and so kind to work around him by moving plates out of reach, having a high chair ready, etc. We really appreciated how the staff went above and beyond for our little guy. Plus, the food is always yummy!
We go here quite a bit for pre-event dinners and have never been disappointed. Beautiful veal chop and filet last night - perfectly cooked and very good selection of wines by the glass. Nashville is getting crowded with steak houses, but the Palm remains constantly good and has a terrific location. Service is always outstanding - prompt, friendly, etc.
We waited 1hour for our food and our steaks were not hot
Been going here since 2011. The filet was not even close to what it used to be, the bass while done well, was quite fishy and my service was slow with marginal attention.
Service was lovely, as was food. Always happy to sneak away for a date night at the Palm.
Thanksgiving dinner was great. I got the 8 oz Oscar style. Also ordered the meatball as an app. It was delicious and perfect for my girlfriend and me.
It was Thanksgiving, so I am sure that the combination of holiday business and likely short staff contributed to the issues, however, there were many. Service was slow at best and at times I considered using a flare gun to flag down our server. In his defense he was slammed and was constantly on the run, but I think the fact that he was overworked kept him from making the occasional eye contact that is needed to make sure a table is doing okay. The Palm is know for their fine steaks, prepared wonderfully. Mine was. My wife's "Rare+" came out nearly well done. This would not have been a problem if we could have addressed it immediately, but it was roughly 5 minutes AFTER the steaks came out that we received steak knives. Once she cut into the gray lump of prime filet it took another 5+ minutes to flag down our waiter and get the steak taken away. Roughly 30 minutes after being served, a new steak arrived. It was cooked correctly but of course all of the side items were cold and I was done with my meal as my wife insisted that I eat while my steak was warm. All of these are explainable by being busy, lack of staff, etc. However, we never received a visit from a manager to apologize nor was any offer made to try to "make it right". Instead we had a mid-grade meal that was roughly $400, with mediocre service and I left with an unhappy wife. Needless to say, I doubt she'll be back and I'd have to think long and hard about a return trip because at a restaurant of this caliber mistakes like this should not happen, but when they do they should be rapidly corrected and apologized for. Instead I got the feeling the entire floor staff was merely holding on for dear life and hoping to get through the day.
Great service, great food, served with perfect catdence.
As always, great, attentive service....wonderful presentation....outstanding meals.
Restaurant was not that busy, but we were constantly left waiting.
Ordered drinks and appetizers, the apps came 10 minutes later but still no drinks. Finished apps and had to ask about our drinks, then they finally came 15 minutes later.
Steaks were just OK
Second round of drinks took just as long as the first.
We've been to the Palm many times, by far our worst experience
Just Bad…. and no lobster …. Wine t to Perry’s the night before….. much better!
Food was excellent, the service from the waiter was not welcoming nor professional. While he, Bradley, was efficient, his lack of customer connection and failure to engage was off putting. I suppose post pandemic restaurants are lucky to have anyone who wants to work therefore the attitude of this waiter is acceptable.
I don’t normally leave reviews, however for the prices the experience was disappointing. I had been excited all day about the meal. We were sat in a wobbly booth so every time the person on the other side moved the seat shook. Our food came out wrong, twice. First I received the wrong meal. On top of the food error, the service was a little off. We had to ask for things multiple times and didn’t get a ton of follow up. I was told my steak was cooked wrong because their version of medium is medium rare at most steakhouses. Which should have been explained at the time of the order. In fact, he asked me to clarify if it was medium or medium rare and I emphasized medium is my preference.
Needed a good meal with steak in mind. Definitely was a great choice. We are from New York and love our food I would say the food was perfect
We set up the reservation for 8 and 6 initially because we could not get early enough. We then tried to add 7 more. They opened a special room for us since it was free. We were in town for the Saints Game.
They blessed us with Daily who took care of our food and drink. We highly recommend her for big parties. She made everything right. Water glasses and drinks were never empty. orders and checks were spot on.
The food was amazing from the steaks to the pastas to the lobsters. Everything was cooked to perfection.
Truly a great experience!!! Thank you Palms for employing such great people!!
Did not like that there is an option to pay with the QR code but my friends had to re-pay even though they received a confirmation email on apple and from the restaurant. This is a glitch with the restaurant and should be fixed before offering this service.
Server did a great job in a short staffed situation. Food was excellent as expected, but there were a couple of minor glitches which were handled well.
Unfortunately our food came out at all different times, and was very cold upon arrival. This was disappointing, as we’ve never had this type of experience at The Palm.
The service was excellent and very attentive. The food left a lot to be desired. Our first steak came out medium well when we ordered medium rare, the lobster was also over cooked. Appetizers and dessert were good. The sides weren't anything to write home about. It was a good experience but I wouldn't go back.
Loved the round table for our party of six! Daylee waited on us and was great.
The Palm is the best in Nashville. Great food and service. Can’t go wrong.
As always, The Palm never disappoints. We have dined at Palm restaurants in Houston, TX, Nashville, TN, Dallas, VA, FL and more. The food is always excellent, and the service is unparalleled! This time we had two friends join us for dinner who had never been to The Palm and they raved about the food, service, and ambiance.
We ordered the meatball starter and they were still completely frozen in the middle. Calamari was heavily breaded and overcooked. My steak was good though. Not what I was expecting and overrated for sure.
Was not impressed. Service was mediocre and the food was marginal. Definitely not worth the $200 dinner for 2.
The chicken parm was out of this world, while steak was very good it didn’t blow my mind. Would definitely go back for a ribeye and the chicken parm!
Amazing experience. The Palm exceeded our expectations.
Great place for business meals , nice wine list.
Ordered a kentucky prime (special), and my wife ordered sea bass. Both were Cooked to perfection.
Victor our waiter was superb. The restaurant was busy but quiet , and we enjoyed the meal. It was what you would hope for and expect at a Palm location. Highly recommend.
Way to noisy but meatballs were fab. Highly recommend them. Salad was the bomb too
Very nice time, it was our anniversary and my wife was over the moon with how well everything went and with how delicious the food was. Bravo!!!
Consistent. Good service and food quality. Ample options.
Food just ok pasta salty tuna more grey than red and steak over cooked ,staff friendly but not knowledgeable about menu or operations .Way over priced for what you get.No Manager visit or follow up
Victor did a great job!
It’s just okay. Not up to the standards of a real Palm.
