Our waiter Brent was so awesome!
We ate here for the first time to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding. The filet was cooked perfectly. The sea bass was outrageously delicious. The atmosphere was a tone setter for the night. We’ll definitely look for a chance to go back.
I have not been to the Palm in a while and I remembered it being much nicer than it was. It was Very loud and very run down inside. Our waiter tried to take our food order the minute we sat down. We were rushed the entire time. The food was average, but prices still high. When I went in the past, I felt the prices were worth it, but I think they cater to the sports and concert goers now and it is just a rushed in and out experience with very average food and very high prices. I would definitely not recommend it. There are many better options in nashville.
The service was good and the food was fine. The noise was over barring though. There were 3-4 tables around us and they were so loud that we couldn't hear each other at our own table.
When you spend $600 for a family of 4 you expect a classier environment.
This felt like we were at Joe's Crab Shack.
We wont be back.
Our experience at The Palm was very disappointing. Our wedge salad was drowning in dressing. The NY strip had a good flavor but was very tough. The mashed potatoes were basic, good mashed potatoes, but with a price tag of $16 they should have been amazing.
Enjoyed an early dinner for our anniversary. Seated close to the entrance/exit for such an occasion was not ideal but the service was excellent and the food was exceptional.
Great service and manager was really great as well helping us navigate a unexpected problem with our gift card. Such cool history here and above average service and food. Highly recommend.
It’s been over 2 years since we’ve been to our favorite restaurant, The Palm. Since COVID a lot of restaurants have been a disappointment for the quality of food and service. Not the Palm, they remain outstanding in all categories!!! They are the to go to restaurant in downtown Nashville!! Excellent!!
Service was outstanding
Excellent service and great atmosphere
Had a great table and terrific service. Always pays to have a reservation!
Cocktails were great , food was sub par for the first time ever. Salmon was so over cooked it was scorched and black, and very dry. I did not send it back because it takes too much time . This is unusual for the Palm , food here is usually exceptional. It was a busy night and everything else was terrific. We always come back.
The BEST steak and salad!! Steak was PERFECT as ordered PINK. The wedge was split at our request more than enough for two. We also had the creamed spinach and shared it. Wonderful martinis and California Pinot. Key lime pie made in house not to be missed.
Dinner before Alan Jackson concert
Always good. Even when a Pitbull concert made traffic and parking insane.
We have been to The Palm several times and have always had exceptional service. I can't say that about this visit. I feel bad writing a negative review, but I have to be honest. This visit did not level up to the experiences we have had in the past. We were a party of six and, fortunately, enjoyed the conversation amongst ourselves which allowed us to not notice too much how slow the service was. It took forever to get our food, our waiter wasn't as friendly as most waiters/waitresses there are and he forgot to bring an expresso for someone at our table towards the end. This was slightly embarrassing since we spoke so highly of The Palm to our friends prior to coming. (They all had never been before.) I must also mention this was on a Thursday evening so it wasn't the normal weekend crowd. It wasn't packed at all. Not the service expected for such an expensive meal. :(
Order of appetizers were not right three times, finally comped one but it was still not what we ordered! Really crazy not usually like this.
We went to The Palm for our 29th Wedding Anniversary. It was perfect. The food was amazing the waiter was friendly and the ambiance was perfect. It was 100% top notch. We will never forget our trip there
I loved my first experience there so came back with moms. Food was not the same and we encountered a lot of issues. I really enjoyed the bread. Lol
I would not recommend the palm again.
We had a delightful experience at the Palm. The food was delicious, I had the seabass and my husband had the chicken parmesean. Both delicious! Our waiter was absolutely delightful!
Great place for a business dinner or special event. Very good food and service
The Palm was the perfect place for dinner before walking the avenue to see all the local bars.
Going away party!
Birthday dinner for my significant other. The meal was superb.
For the price, the food was not that great. The Palm was one of the only games in town for a long time. Now we have more options. Very noisy and the tables seem small.
The service was good; slow but we understood due to the staffing shortages. Ambience was good.
Food was not up to expectations for the palm. The steaks were of poor quality; at least from what one would expect for a steak over $50. One filet, ordered medium rare was served rare. Another filet, with the added Oscar topping: the hollandaise was broke, and the amount of crab was very minimal. Very disappointing for the amount of money spent.
Menu, specifically wine, was more.limited than I recall. It had been a while. Overall good but nothing special
Food and service were very good. Definitely would go back.
Service excellent and food excellent. Bit expensive for a steak house but all with it.
It was okay- the flavors of the foods were good, wedge was great, creamed spinach was excellent. The prime dry aged ribeye, which was tough and low-quality meat. Again- flavor was good, but an expensive and disappointing cut.
Server never asked to see how the food was. Next time, I would skip it.
It was wonderful!
Great food and service !!!
Came for my birthday and received a free cheesecake dessert and the waiter even sang to me. Loved it!!!
Extraordinary food, but pricey and worth it. It's right downtown by Broadway, so it's a very convenient place to begin your evening if you want to walk around in the night life. Steaks and seafood are second to none.
Great food , a bit pricey so it is a splurge but a great experience, service and food top notch.
Excellent as always, treated like we dine there weekly but it is only on occasion as we come from out of town. Steaks cooked to perfection, great drinks and extras!!
We enjoyed a great early pre-concert dinner at The Palm. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and promptly seated. Our waiter. Mack, appeared immediately and welcomed us again and offered drinks, etc. Then he carefully explained the menu, took our orders and allowed us plenty to time to enjoy the setting. For we Floridians, it was rather chilly in the restaurant, with very cold air blowing directly on us (our only complaint). The food was terrific, as was the service. We would highly recommend this place.
A recent review on this site gave me pause: it was by a fellow frequent luncheon diner who recently visited and was VERY disappointed in both the food and the service. I am happy to report that I went despite this "warning" and was very pleased. Perhaps it was a tad shy of its usual over-the-top service but the food was excellent (a rather exciting new menu) and the service quite satisfactory. The Palm only recently returned to full luncheon hours and is still dealing with Covid and a labor shortage, so I think we diners need to give restaurants a little slack as things slowly return to normal, which for The Palm means exception food/service.
The service was exceptional and the food was good and prepared well
Both meals were very good. My wife had the seabass and I had the filet. My steak was a little tuff but enjoyable. The seabass was good. wait staff was awesome
As always the service and food was wonderful at The Palm in Nashville TN.
