Celebrating anniversary
Go to The Palm a few times a year. Slowly this restaurant has become very crowed. Tables are so close now that the waiters can not get between them. This causes the staff to have to reach across the tables and others to have to pass your food to you. This really takes away from The Palm experience. There are too many fabulous steak houses in Nashville now to go to one where you feel like a sardine packed in a can.
Pre hockey game dinner that has become a regular event with friends. Server was new and was sat 3 tables at same time in bar area alcove. Not usually like that. Slow on drinks, water refilled 1x in 2 hours, filet over cooked and extremely loud.
Great spot for business lunch, or dinner with friends. Excellent food and service.
The food and the service, especially the service were excellent. Could not have asked for more attentive personable and accommodating waiter. However for over $100 a person, you expect it to be more of a fine dining experience. It is as intensely loud as a jam packed bar giving away free booze in terms of incredible loudness. I can’t believe that open tables highest /worst loudness rating is called ENERGETIC. We were there at 8 PM with a group of 10. I wouldnt even go with two people. Maybe ok for lunch? It’s just too hard to have decent conversation we were all talking loud just to overcome the noise level which we weren’t able to do but we managed with our friends right next to us Some members of our group were very aggravated by the noise level and did not enjoy the evening at all. One person had practically lost her voice by the end of the dinner. Great food and yes they pack them in Because of the solid reputation of the food and fantastic servicebut don’t go there for conversation, A business meeting or romantic dinner
Incredibly overpriced for quality of food and service. Waiter was not very friendly, steak was good but nothing incredible. I will say their sides were good but could think of so many other nice restaurants I’d rather eat at. It was a work function paid for, but if I am paying myself I will not be back as there are way better places at the prices for their food.
Always top notch service ambience and dining at the Palm
Our waiter was very nice, but I would say that was the only good thing about our experience. The food was subpar, especially for the cost. Our bread was cold, calamari was soggy and my rib-eye had no flavor...I almost asked for steak sauce. My bloody-mary was horrible. His sea bass was decent, but could have been better. I guess I was just expecting exceptional food for the kind of money we were spending.
Great food but noise level was very high.
When in a city where there is a Palm...no need to decide where to eat, the Palm always wins.
The palm is a top tier steakhouse, in Nashville or any city. The Nashville location does it right. Service is always outstanding. The steak was perfect on this night. The lobster was close but just a bit off. It happens. Still, it was a great meal. We'll be back many times.
Always a great stop before a show at The Ryman. The food is great and the wine list fits all.
I've dined at many upscale restaurants in the past; particularly those known for their excellent steaks, but I've never had a more flavorful or tender filet in my life. The food was outstanding and I look forward to my next meal at The Palm.
Excellent service
Amazing food, drinks and service.
The portion sizes are huge. Which is great but we left so much food and couldn’t take leftovers. We could have shared meals.
Last two times there, first - steak ordered medium and over cooked. This time steak ordered medium and way under cooked. Waiter was even embarrassed. If I return I will stick with the Ahi Tuna - love it and have had zero luck on steaks......................
Awesome waiter. Food was delicious. Wine list is extensive. Lots of character in an upscale dining experience.
Another nice evening at The Palm. My Wife’s meal was not cooked at the appropriate temperature. Her second meal was cooked perfectly and was given to her without our asking. A fabulous recovery.
The bus person picked up my empty soup bowl, but left the empty oyster shell plate.
The bus boy asked about empty plates, but didn’t wait for the positive response.
Vacation family experience 👍🏻💕
Food was very average to below average for what is available in Nashville. So many other places to eat at the same price point with much higher quality of food and service.
Excellent dinner, great service. The Palm has been a favorite of mine for years. A real Italian restaurant, with a NYC vibe!
Food was great service was less than ii expect at Palm
Food was DElish!
Grabbed a quick bite after the Preds lost Saturday night !
Great food and great service . The shrimp cocktail and sauce are great !! The horse radish has a kick !

We were visiting from m out of town for me and my twin sisters birthday. Our server was amazing!! Treated us like royalty😊 Daniel, sang to us. Made for a fabulous birthday evening.
The food was about on the level of a mediocre diner. Veal special ( diners' favorite) and veal parmigiana were exactly like dry heavily- coated country fried steak. Absolutely horrible food quality.
Great meal, great service. Best Shrimp Cocktail in Nashville.
Daniel was very good tonight
The food was great and Matthew ( the waiter) was truly great.
Really average
The Palm was very accommodating but our table was poorly situated. One side was in the walkway to the back of the restaurant. Not enough room so people bumped those chairs and it was very distracting. Food was good but not exceptional for the money. The wait staff was awesome so it made up for all the other stuff.
We were 45 minutes late for our reservation due to the Eagle’s concert and were still sat for a full dinner. We will definitely be back.
Our server's name was "Dan"...he made the dinner amazing for us! The food was decadent and my daughter and I felt like Princesses! We celebrated her 21st birthday, and the visit at The Palm was a wonderful highlight of our evening.
We have dined at The Palm many times. Unfortunately, the prices have gotten out of control. It’s just not worth the what they charge for ordinary wine, cocktails, and entrees. We’ve found many restaurants in Nashville that have excellent food and beverages for much more reasonable prices.
Arrived at 5:50 ahead of a confirmed 6:15 reservation for dinner in advance of an 8:00 event elsewhere. Granted it was a busy Friday night, but it would have been a more relaxing dinner if we could have been seated before 6:40.
De’lish!!! Fabulous food & great drink options
Outstanding meal and service for our wedding anniversary dinner.
Bar tender was somewhat unfriendly and snobbish. He got better after we had a couple of drinks. Waitress got my wife's dinner wrong. A runner brought it out & I had to go find her as she didn't come check on our meal after it was served. Needless to say, our server could have been a bit more attentive especially at this price point. Overall, food was excellent but service was lacking. I expect better service when spending $200.00 for a meal.
