Birthday dinner for my significant other. The meal was superb.
For the price, the food was not that great. The Palm was one of the only games in town for a long time. Now we have more options. Very noisy and the tables seem small.
Menu, specifically wine, was more.limited than I recall. It had been a while. Overall good but nothing special
Food and service were very good. Definitely would go back.
Service excellent and food excellent. Bit expensive for a steak house but all with it.
It was okay- the flavors of the foods were good, wedge was great, creamed spinach was excellent. The prime dry aged ribeye, which was tough and low-quality meat. Again- flavor was good, but an expensive and disappointing cut.
Server never asked to see how the food was. Next time, I would skip it.
It was wonderful!
Great food and service !!!
Came for my birthday and received a free cheesecake dessert and the waiter even sang to me. Loved it!!!
Extraordinary food, but pricey and worth it. It's right downtown by Broadway, so it's a very convenient place to begin your evening if you want to walk around in the night life. Steaks and seafood are second to none.
Great food , a bit pricey so it is a splurge but a great experience, service and food top notch.
Excellent as always, treated like we dine there weekly but it is only on occasion as we come from out of town. Steaks cooked to perfection, great drinks and extras!!
We enjoyed a great early pre-concert dinner at The Palm. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and promptly seated. Our waiter. Mack, appeared immediately and welcomed us again and offered drinks, etc. Then he carefully explained the menu, took our orders and allowed us plenty to time to enjoy the setting. For we Floridians, it was rather chilly in the restaurant, with very cold air blowing directly on us (our only complaint). The food was terrific, as was the service. We would highly recommend this place.
A recent review on this site gave me pause: it was by a fellow frequent luncheon diner who recently visited and was VERY disappointed in both the food and the service. I am happy to report that I went despite this "warning" and was very pleased. Perhaps it was a tad shy of its usual over-the-top service but the food was excellent (a rather exciting new menu) and the service quite satisfactory. The Palm only recently returned to full luncheon hours and is still dealing with Covid and a labor shortage, so I think we diners need to give restaurants a little slack as things slowly return to normal, which for The Palm means exception food/service.
The service was exceptional and the food was good and prepared well
Both meals were very good. My wife had the seabass and I had the filet. My steak was a little tuff but enjoyable. The seabass was good. wait staff was awesome
As always the service and food was wonderful at The Palm in Nashville TN.
The once amazing restaurant has lost some of it's luster . They have made changes some of their signature dishes such as lobster bisque and wild mushrooms, not so good anymore.
The Bone-in-Rib-eye Steak is as amazing as it always, and can't go wrong with the lobster.
If you are a former 837 Club member don't expect the same attention and level of service.
We had filet mignon. They were both over-cooked and tough. For the price I expected much more.
Excellent food and drink! Excellent service!! Would definitely go back!
A mere shell of the pre-Covid The Palm we loved. Food is different in a negative way. Of course this could be deemed differently by others. Important to note that our last 2 visits were lunch. Took 45 minutes to get the entrees out. Veal parm and NY Strip this most recent visit. The quality of the house green salad was not good. The best thing we had was the steamed asparagus. Sadly the latest version of the beloved half & half was soggy on our last 2 visits. We'll give them another shot at dinner. Maybe it's a lunch problem.
Everything was great!
The general manager came over to our table to thank us for dining when he found out how often we visit Palm restaurants across the country. Nice touch
Delicious double rib lamb chops, veal chop and steamed spinach. Only thing is it’s NOT The Palm - bought over by the Landry chain. We had a gift certificate that they were kind enough to honor even though it is now a different restaurant. Thank you for great service and true customer loyalty!
Birthday for daughter in law....We were seated on time, however we were not greeted by wait staff for almost 15 minutes. Finally received water and was able to orders drinks/apps. Bar drinks arrived before coke, and had to be requested x2. Our app came out on time, but then main entree did not. We were sat with most booths around us empty, our meal did not arrive until we’ll after our seat neighbors had left the dining area. Asst manager became in ok Ed, and meal still took time to come out. Very disappointed and embarrassed of having such a bad experience when trying to treat daughter in law to a 5 star experience.
our waitress seem very nervious on our arrival she spilled a glass of water on the table and some on my date. He excuse her. Veal chops was ordered and waiting an hour on our meal, the kitchen informed our waitress they had no more to serve (ran out). Now, we waiting another 45minutes before we received our meal.
Was a great experience, they may have been a bit short on servers but we were not in a hurry the food and ambiance were top notch
From our waiter Scott and the food, perfect.
One of the best meals overall in a long time anywhere.
Our waiter was exceptional!!!
What a great place - food all the way thru the menu, start-to-finish was terrific. One of the best nationwide.
Servers were nice and helpful. Typical palm decor. But the food was less than par. Our last visit to The Palm in New York City was excellent per usual but not sure if Nashville was just having a bad night or just not up to palm standards.
A big disappointment this time. First I was seated in a bar area even though it was vacant small table in a dining area. I came to try a gnocchi bolognese with three kind of meat/ veal, pork, beef. To make a long story short; there was more meat in dish description then in my plate and gnocchis were too soft (overcooked). On my way out two young hostesses we’re having fun talking and didn’t want to bother to say courteous “good bye”. For the restaurant of such reputation, it isn’t acceptable.
It was good. Pretty much like any other high end Steak House. Very nice service. They're very polite too.
Overall a good experience.
The steak was absolutely burnt and the augratin potatoes tasted like paste. We told the waitress who seemed uninterested but did give us free cake. Then we pick up our car from the valet and it was covered in bird crap. Called to complain but the valet “is a separate company “. Anyway I will never go back and I promise the only reason they stay in business is their location across from the Bridgestone Arena and the Ryman. So many great steal house in Nashville don’t bother going here!!
Our waiter, Victor was wonderful. Meal was delicious and food came out really fast. Cold martinis. Everything was great!!
It was our anniversary and we loved everything about it. We got the Butchers selection Porterhouse steak and it was delicious. My wife got the Rosé Water, overall great experience and presentation.
Good food and atmosphere. Enjoyed the Oak more, but would still recommend!
Came for our annual lobster dinner for my wife’s birthday. First, downtown ain’t what it used to be and it was nearly impossible to get to this place on time because of all the party buses and craziness downtown. Second, my first 6 pound lobster apparently had no meat in it so we had to make another one. That is pretty weird.
