Not as good as I remember pre-COVID. We ordered our steaks medium and medium rare and they both came out rare. It seems like they are cutting corners. Food and experience is no longer worth the money as far as I’m concerned.

This was a birthday celebration, and we went there to get the Prime Rib special. It was a definite miss and not up to Palm standards. The chef added a pastrami seasoning that did not go well with this cut of roast beef, and I wanted to have mine medium rare, and they told me they only had medium well left! At least the cake dessert was on the house, and it was delicious. I miss the BH location.

What a great place to have dinner before a concert or game at Staples. The food was good, and the service was outstanding. Samone, our waitress, was friendly and professional. The ambiance was warm and friendly—a great way to celebrate our 47th Anniversary.

Consistently great - the downtown location. Everyone at the table was completely satisfied with their dinners. Before a Lakers game, the room is always energetic, but never boisterous. I love the Palm…(btw, Weight Watchers - did you know that lobster was ZERO points!!)

Celebrated 2 birthdays at dinner Saturday. Sam the manager greeted us and seated us in booth under our caricatures. Heather was our waitress (new from the BH location after the abrupt closing). Heather was friendly and efficient. We ordered the SUnday meal but they didn’t t have the pasta dish so Sam allowed us to order substitutions off the regular menu. Just odd they didn’t that dish since it was an advertised special. It was nice to see our favorite waitress Maria and we hope to visit again soon.

It was our anniversary…No acknowledgment… Moreover, our server was condescending (telling me how to swirl the wine taste of the bottle we ordered… explaining the dessert as if we fell off the turnip truck). She was annoying and borderline disrespectful. Didn’t like the selling of the Landry membership when we first arrived… SMH

Honestly it's a stake place with just OK steaks and sides that are drastically overpriced. We got 5 asparagus stalks for I think $15. Hash browns are pretty mediocre. The bread basket is a limited selection of what it once was. Wedge salad was good though.

Truly excellent service. Our server Summer and her trainee could not have been more personable and professional. Everything you could hope for in old school, know their jobs, and do them well wait staff. The maître d'hôtel is also a great guy—attentive, impeccably dressed, friendly. The fare at The Palm is exactly what you've come to expect—consistently delicious, well presented. (And, of course, not inexpensive.) The downtown location does it right and has a nice ambiance. The new addition of a whole roasted garlic to the usually lonely, white steak plate is a welcome, delightful step above. A great place to celebrate or do business.

Food was good - warm with portions. Fried calamari had a chile twist we were not thrilled about it. Lobster bisque was a little bit salty. Place was great. Old good fashion restaurant with ample room and picturesque. Policies and procedures were nice. We asked for a bottle of wine which resulted on the acidic side and the GM took it off the check. Service was below expectations. Although the waitress was very nice she, her colleagues or the kitchen took forever to transition from one phase to the other. Bread to drinks. Drinks to appetizers. Main course to desert. I even stand up to pay the check. I will come back for a second chance.

First time dining here and it was amazing! The staff was especially friendly, the food was delicious and the ambiance was delicate and intimate. I had the octopus appetizer and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend!

Juan was our server and he was great. I've never been to the Downtown Palm, but do really love it. The décor and atmosphere is fun and entertaining. We went early so it was quiet, which was nice. I think that it is one of my favorite Palm restaurants. Highly recommend.

Overall....this is a good place. Our waitress was exceptional. The food was solid. It is the price for me that brings it down. As with all of TF places (Landry's - Maestro's, Palm, Morton's, Chart House, Claim Jumper....), that when he takes them over, he makes them profitable for him. Which means subtle changes across the board and prices stay the same or go up. We had 2 cocktails, 1 glass of wine, one salad, one entree (a modest steak), two sides and one dessert. With tax and tip... $250.00 for 2 people. Plus downtown and $20.00 min for parking. Just too much for a nice steak place with plenty of other options available in LA.

Sent the steak back. The steak tasted like it was kept in the refrigerator too long and tasted old and not fresh. Manager stated offered to remake but admitted that the same cut would be of similar quality. Everything food wise was just so so and not up to the level I expected of the historic Palm restaurants.

Nice , clean white table cloth restaurant in PRIME real-estate ! So for me this is a restaurant with good energy and decently priced food/drink items . I like to try to catch a meal here only when a Lakers or Kings are in town ! The whole DTLA / LA Live comes to life !
