Sent the steak back. The steak tasted like it was kept in the refrigerator too long and tasted old and not fresh. Manager stated offered to remake but admitted that the same cut would be of similar quality. Everything food wise was just so so and not up to the level I expected of the historic Palm restaurants.

The food was awful - they were out of so many items on the menu, for example Shrimp Cocktails, certain cuts of steak and most importantly, never told me or my guest that we were both there (in different parts of the restaurant) so we were delayed by about 20 minutes before we sat down together. The Palm is not what it used to be….

We ate at the Palm yesterday before the Kings game. We also ate at the Palm on Friday before the game. Our experience on Sunday was at best poor. The service was friendly but they brought out out appetizers, salads and entrees all at the same time. We sent the entrees back and then they just brought out the old entrees because they were dried out and somewhat burst. Last night was not the experience we were used at the Palm.

Love the old school vibe in the property. Food was well prepared and presentation was excellent. Service was top notch and staff went out of their way to be helpful. New York strip was ok. Not bad enough to send back but have had better. I will say the meatball appetizer was awesome!

I've been to Palm before and enjoyed their steaks and lobsters. Dinner last night was very disappointing. Oyster and clam dish - clams were salty and sandy. Bone marrow ragu - Bone marrow was cold and had to send back to reheat. The server said she will microwave (?) Wasn't expecting microvaved food at the Palm

Visited The Palm today before our show. This was our first time, and we had high expectations based on the reviews and reputation. We started with a round of martinis. They were fine. We had the lobster gnocchi as our first course. It was cold. Not room temp but cold like it came from the fridge, was placed under a lamp to warm the outer edges. We shared the bone marrow onion soup. It was delicious. I had the shrimp saute. It was just okay, barely ate half my plate. My husband had the chicken Parmigiano. Same review as mine. It was well enough to eat half. Our server was professional and timely but not friendly. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Hadn’t been here in years so we we’re excited to go. Loved the palm salad last time. This time it was merely a bagged salad with a couple of pieces of hearts of palm thrown in. 👎🏻 Their hash browns aren’t hash browns. Just cubed potatoes thrown in a bowl and fried. I got the veal Marsala ( which was so small & i could barely see it under the sea of mushrooms). My husband got the filet ( medium cooked) which was over cooked. Needless to say i don’t think we will be back. We paid $200. Way over priced for what we got!!! 😤

We love The Palm. First visit to the one in Downtown Los Angeles and it did not disappoint. Same service and excellent food we've always loved. Proximity to Crypto Arena was perfect for pre concert dining.

IO have been going to the Palm for over 70 years having grown up in NY and for 30 some-odd years in LA. The prices have risen, and the quality has dropped. I remember when a steak at the Palm was something special, but no more. It was a mediocre cut of beef, and rather tasteless. The Wedge salad was day old lettuce there was not enough bacon bits or dressing and that too was disappointing. The creamed spinach was really good!

All was good except for the waitress. At one point I asked for status on meal after a good 45 mins of waiting and she walked away mid sentence and never acknowledged or apologized for the poor service. Typically the service is good along with the food, however, this particular waitress needs additional training on how to deal with the public.

We were short on time for the start of a Kings game across the street and our waiter and the kitchen got us everything perfectly prepared and on time to get us out the door when we needed to leave while still having had a great meal
