Simply the best steak and lobster in L.A. Always excellent, professional staff. We love taking guests there and go often.

We love the lobster special at the Palm. Sometimes the service is great, and sometimes it's not. This time the service was terrible.

The palm is a classy, traditional restaurant. The recent menu changes are an improvement. The salmon Caesar is wonderful. But The biggest issue is there are NO vegetarian options. Seriously put a few veggie items in the menu. A gourmet veggie burger, a nice pasta dish. They need to get with the times.
Also music is always too loud lately.

Overall nice meal. Food was fantastic. Service was good but we felt a bit rushed to move on to each next course during our dinner. Strange as the place was less than half full. The Palm is pricey 300 bucks for 2 so we were hoping to enjoy our special occasion dinner conversation at our own pace and savor the experience.

My experience was nice, it was just a shock how people act when you ask them to split the checks. Maybe they can ask ahead of time how you would like to receive the bill.

Been there once before, but had to go back. The food is amazing. I ordered the filet mignon again, cause every bite of it melts in your mouth, it’s so tender. Also ordered the bacon appetizer again & my daughter tried it for the first time & was amazed of how delicious it is. Will go back again when I want a delicious tasty great steak. 2 thumbs up!!

It's June lobster season at The Palm and their lobster dinner for two was simply amazing - for us, warm bread and butter to accompany bowls of creamy lobster bisque followed by a 4 pound lobster to share, plus their amazing asparagus fritti. We had enough lobster left over to bring home and make our own sinful lobster mac and cheese, which was almost as delicious as the first meal (but it took awhile to make!) We highly, highly recommend The Palm and wish we had one of their restaurants in the Palm Springs area!

This place has gone down in my book. Was one of 2 tables at 8Pm on a Thursday. Menu shrunk, food took longer than normal. Place was empty and dead silent and still sat us by the door. Steak was good as expected but not good enough to justify the price anymore. At gratin potatoes undercooked. Lobster was fair.

Took my son for his 22nd birthday. Our server, Maria, was great. Bone-in filet mignonette was very good, but not great. Not hot off the grill as they had a kitchen snafu where my son’s bone-in ribeye was mixed up with another order. But my son loved the steak. Creamed spinach was great. Mushroom side not quite great. Maria suggested the Caymus Cabernet which, at $175, was pricey but excellent. All in all a great, memorable occasion. Will return.

The highlight of my meal was a very slightly better than average Cesar Salad. The steak was not good. A bad cut, not prepared exceptionally well and with no flavor. The sides were just okay.

I wish I remembered the name of the server, but she was one of the best servers ever! A perfect balance of friendliness without being too personal, a perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive, even anticipating things we might want before it was even apparent to a less insightful eye. Cheers to her!

The Palm is my go-to place when conducting business in Los Angeles. Great food with a variety for all tastes and appetites and the soup is always delicious. The staff is attentive but not pushy and always does a great read of the table, whether you are celebrating or working intensely on a deal. Food - bone-in rib-eye never disappoints, but I also like the chicken parmesan.

Bar was filthy stained my shirt had to get a manager to get water
Brought a client, waiter told us we were too late for lunch though it didn’t end for 20 mins.
No one wanted to serve us.
Went back the next day stupidly with more clients
WAiter took my sandwich and brought the bill. I was maybe halfway through my meal.
What a joke. 20 years coming here annually such an embarrassment

Service by Maria was excellent. Filet Mignon cut like butter and was seasoned to perfection. Lobster was great also and great size (4lb). Also, can't say enough about the delish crab cake appetizer. Definitely a treat.

Food and presentation were up to their high standards even for a luncheon meal.
Really appreciate the effort that Gina went to having my Caricature installed.

The Palm is at a convenient location for our events for the night. The portions are generous and the service was good. An additional bonus is the large parking structure right behind the restaurant.

Unfortunately the food was bland as if even a pinch of salt was a foreign concept. The Three cheese potatoes au-gratin were runny and bland except for the crust. The potatoes themselves were oddly cut like fries. A mushroom medley had potential but ended up bland tasting like mushrooms lightly sauteed in olive oil. Prosciutto green beans were basically steamed green beans with a dash of pepper and a small amount of bacon lardons.

Lobster was ordered by one of the diners and the staff were asked 3 times to de-shell it (when ordered, when arriving and once presented). The lobster looked like it was machete chopped down the middle and not cleaned at all. De-shelling consisted of tearing apart the larger joints.

The best item ordered was the chicken parmigiana and even then it was slightly over-cooked.

If the restaurant was busy it might be possible to forgive some items but our reservation was at 5:00pm and we were the second group in the restaurant. By the time we left, the restaurant was only 1/4 full.

Absolute ghost town for a 7:30 pm reservation on a Memorial Day. Still, we got the same outstanding service and attention that we always get. Currently there is a ton of construction going on and I guess on non-game/event nights that it's dead like this, but don't let that fool you. The steaks are perfection as is the rest of the food and drink. Service usually impeccable. One of the last of a dying breed.
