The Palm Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
I eat at The Palm in DC often, took a party of 8 to the Las Vegas location at Caesers and everyone left disappointed. First 3 tried to order prime rib, not available...then after reordering 5 put of 8 agreed their food was horrible, the other 3 said it was okay.
Horrible & okay are not what I expected from The Palm.
Made reservation a week ahead of time and they provided us a very nice table outside the restaurant which was cozy and good for people watching. Started out with their house special martini which was very smoth and gave a good start for the evening. I ordered a second one later on as well, as it was that good. My wife simply ordered the lobster bisk and a salad which I tasted and were very good. By the way our server was very good and friendly. I ordered the 3lb lobster. Therein some disappointment began. I thought the lobster was overcooked. I thought it was burnt. Don't know how that happened. I have prepared lobsters at charity fundraisers and it was a simple matter of cooking in hot water for a specified period of time. Also the lobster color was all almost black except one claw which was totally pink. I questioned that and didn't really receive a satisfactory response. In summary I liked the place but next time I get lobster I think it will be in a Chicago seafood restaurant unless I find myself in Boston. Finally my evening ending glass of Port was very good.
The staff was very attentive and polite, the hostess took a few pictures for us out front and was very sweet! The food was delicious, a little pricey, but very well done, so we felt ok about it. Our booth set us apart from a lot of the noise, which was nice, as we were there for our anniversary. Steaks were cooked to order, green beans with pancetta were amazing! We ordered 2 desserts for the occasion, if we went back, 1 would suffice, as the portions for dessert were quite large. Our server Ana was there when we needed her, but out of our way otherwise. A pleasant experience, I hope we get to go back!
My wife and I celebrated out 37th wedding anniversary on November 7th. The Palm Las Vegas staffed helped to make this a very special occasion for us both. They were extra attentive, gave us a great table, and helped us take some great photos to remember our visit.
We have been a Palm customer for 15 years and have been to 10 different Palm restaurants across the nation, and the Las Vegas location is our favorite, consistently providing a great experience. All of the dishes were well prepared a very special meal.
We live in Scottsdale AZ and do not have a Palm near us so we make it a point to seek out a Palm when we are traveling.
Perhaps someday The Palm will put a restaurant in Scottsdale so that we can enjoy their food and atmosphere more frequently.
The Palm is pricey but for a special occasion you will not be disappointed.
Visited the Palm restaurant on Saturday Nov 4 The food and waiter were excellent Very disappointed with the hostess We had a reservation for 5:30 asked to sit at open area at front of restaurant but were told there were too many large groups Were taken to the furthest booth at the back but asked for a table closer to the front We left at 6:40 and there were no large groups in the open area only 2 tables of 2 which were seated after we came We were also a group of 2
I seem to review this particular Palm often, although I live 1100 miles away... I've never had a bad meal... I've never gotten bad service! With several notibles dining this time, Mr Close, although in a packed house made time to seat me and stop by my table for one several times! The service here is impecible! The food is amazing at each of the Palm's I have eaten, where this location stands apart is the service! From front of house to servers to kitchen they do it right! Mr Close, Shaun, Karlos, Ana, Dutch and all those who's names I can't think are the BEST!
Our server Barry was energetic, friendly and very efficient. All the dishes were cooked to perfection. The big screen TV allowed us to see World Series action without taking over the entire room. We usually like to people watch and dine on the outside portion of the Palm but the cigar & cigarette smoke was a little too much to do that so we ate inside the restaurant this time. Overall it was a really good dining experience.
Our waiter J.R. has worked in the restaurant for 16 years and was incredibly helpful guiding us through the menu. His service was good and prompt. We sat on the "patio" overlooking the people going through "The Forum Mall" at the shops at Caesars Palace. Great place to eat before the Elton John concert at the Forum.
Visiting Vegas as a weekend getaway and wanted a nice dinner. Reviews were accurate. Enjoyed the filet with peppercorn sauce, a NY strip, shared salads and grilled asparagus. Wine list pretty decent. Service was good, personable, attentive. More upscale attire was called for but I think anything welcomed as long as tasteful.
