The Palm Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Whenever we visit Las Vegas, The Palm is a must. Food is always excellent and good value for the quality. Our waiter Anthony was wonderful. He has been there for over 8 years. I only wish that the Las Vegas staff could train those in the Beverly Hills location (where we live) as it is not as good as LV. If you are not staying at Caesars, take a Uber or Lyft to the Forum Shops drop off. Take the escalator up..and you will find The Palm immediately to the right..
What a great place!
I had dinner three times last week at the Palm and drinks a couple of afternoons. The place is awesome the staff is second to none. The young lady that seems to be the manager Kelly was so sweet and accommodating. I had different servers from Elaina, Barry, Dutch, bar tenders Ashley, Kelly, Vic,(yes there are 2 Kelly's working there) all of them were fantastic. I had the veal parmigiana chop one night and sea bass the other both where fantastic. I actually went back a third time just to have the sea bass again (blackened or broiled, both ways were great). I recommend this restaurant. The lump crab cocktail is great too. I recommend the asparagus fritti as a side.
When it comes to getting a good steak in Las Vegas there are a lot of choices and you don't have to necessarily go to a restaurant on the strip to get one, unless you want the best which is at The Palm. Steaks are always cooked the way you want them, they are very flavorful, and there are excellent side dishes as well. But the best part of the meal is often the service which is top notch!
I arrived for my reservation and was seated promptly. Service was conducted by Sunshine who made the entire meal a great experience. Food was outstanding. Dishes were cleared quickly after finishing our courses and drinks never ran dry. I enjoyed the New York Strip with a wedge salad, which after all the other bad food we had in this city was worth every dollar. The finishing touch was the carrot cake with a coca cola out of the glass bottle so what more can you ask for but a happy ending.
The new decor is nice and open. Staff and servers are friendly and attentive to all requests. The food is excellent and meals are not rushed. Very nice dinning experience for a great "night out" with a family friends or a companion (wife). Our server Tony was great.
I eat at The Palm in DC often, took a party of 8 to the Las Vegas location at Caesers and everyone left disappointed. First 3 tried to order prime rib, not available...then after reordering 5 put of 8 agreed their food was horrible, the other 3 said it was okay.
Horrible & okay are not what I expected from The Palm.
Made reservation a week ahead of time and they provided us a very nice table outside the restaurant which was cozy and good for people watching. Started out with their house special martini which was very smoth and gave a good start for the evening. I ordered a second one later on as well, as it was that good. My wife simply ordered the lobster bisk and a salad which I tasted and were very good. By the way our server was very good and friendly. I ordered the 3lb lobster. Therein some disappointment began. I thought the lobster was overcooked. I thought it was burnt. Don't know how that happened. I have prepared lobsters at charity fundraisers and it was a simple matter of cooking in hot water for a specified period of time. Also the lobster color was all almost black except one claw which was totally pink. I questioned that and didn't really receive a satisfactory response. In summary I liked the place but next time I get lobster I think it will be in a Chicago seafood restaurant unless I find myself in Boston. Finally my evening ending glass of Port was very good.
very disappointed with the food and service ,we always look forward to the Palms and have always recommended to friends when going to Vegas ,not able to put my finger on why it was disappointing will give it a try when back in the new year hoping it was just a bad night
