Just a wonderful experience, food was outstanding and did not disappoint.
Been to multiple Palms around the country and Houston was just as good.
It will be on our rotation of places to go
I thought my steak was great! But my wife's was a little overcooked! She was disappointed
A bit pricey as well!
Valentines Day !!!
Great food and service. Surf and turf is a must. The Bolonegse is excellent as well.
Good wine selection and bar!
Service and food were excellent as usual. The Palm still stands strong among the many new houston steakhouses. It is the best
This was our first time at The Palms and it was the right choice for our date night!!!! The food was DELICIOUS!!!!! Our waiter , Tony G., was outstanding. Very good service!!!
Experience was very good overall. Wine we selected was not available (might want to do a check of vintages available against wine list and adjust pricing accordingly) but manager provided us a good alternative at the same price point. Enjoyed the ambiance and décor. We will definitely come back again.
Best steak in Houston or any city there is a Palm
As good as I had 40 years ago in NYC
Pésima actitud de la mesera , mal servicio , el personal de apoyo excelente .
Gente como ella debería de dedicarse a otra cosa que le guste . Es un pena por que The Palm es uno de mis restaurantes favoritos.
I’m a fairly regular patron.
We came in for lobster.
I was told there were 5 5lb lobsters in the back.
We ordered 1 and were told sorry they’re all spoken for...
The service was way off and we were less than impressed.
We travel in from Montgomery so to have this type service was a total let down.
Fantastic restaurant. The GM Leslie and her team are outstanding!
Wonderful food. Service was a bit slow, but we weren’t in a huge hurry. Was a bit louder than we wanted. Was thinking it would be a cozy & quiet experience, but it was a brighter and louder restaurant.
The food was amazing! The servers were so knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. While the restaurant was loud, the food and service was excellent.
Service during lunch time was extremely slow. Lunch took 1 hour and 50 min...
We had a wonderful time for our anniversary. The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding.
My husband and I came in to celebrate his birthday. The surf and turf combo did not disappoint. There was a glitch in the service when we first arrived but then another waiter stepped in and did a great job.
Birthday for my wife
Great food and service as usual.
See you next time.
New Year’s Eve. One of our favorite restaurants and perfect for New Years Eve. Superb service (thanks Tony), incredible NYE menu, great ambiance, great food, always a wonderful experience! Great place to bring in 2019.
Ben was amazing. Food was great. Loved the cheese cake.
Celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary as The Palm is where we got engaged! Tino, who is still there, was our server who brought the champagne with engagement ring at the bottom of my glass! It’s a special place for us.
Tonight, we both had steak and lobster which was fabulous. Service is always tops! And we were sent home with a dessert on the house. Thank you!
We had a wonderful Christmas dinner. The service and the food was absolutely spot on. It made it a very special family dinner.
Outstanding food. Fantastic service. Great atmosphere. Definitely a winner!
Open Table listed it as having a special Christmas menu and special Christmas pricing but it didn't. Power lunch wasn't offered on Christmas either.
The steak was great but the four pound Lobster that I split with my husband was a huge disappointment. It had far less meat than two 1 pound lobster tails I purchased at Costco. It was also under cooked and certainly not worth the price.
The waiter was excellent but the wait time for our meal was over forty five minutes.
We arrived at our appointment time, greeted with a friendly smile and promptly seated. It was a great start to the evening, however it slowly went down from there. I don't know if was because of being short staffed due to Christmas Eve, or what, everything for us was in very slow motion. There were several parties that came in after us and left way before us.
Our server, Tony, he was friendly enough when we saw him. I think he had to many table this night to manage. We ordered drinks, my Manhattan was fine. My wife ordered a house chardonnay, and throughout the evening she had two glass. I was 9oz, and the other was 6oz. The cost for these two glasses of HOUSE wine was $42.00. That is on the verge of thievery. I put that blame on our waiter, Tony. Our appetizer's, one the special potato soup, it was good, but nothing I can't get a my golf club. The other was the bacon wrapped scallops. I'm sorry, but being raised on the gulf coast I know good scallops, these were not. Onto our entrée, my wife had the stuffed flounder with crabmeat. It was the star of the night, prepared very well, my compliments to the chef's here. I had the Chairman's Ribeye, medium rare. It was too tough, and cooked more to medium the medium rare, not the best quality of beef I've eaten.
The wife and I have made dinner at The Palm a Christmas Eve tradition for the past few years. After making it back to our car, she stated,"maybe we should try something different next year"
In conclusion, we were very disaapointed,
My experience at the Palm was amazing. Reservation was a last minute switch and they were able to accommodate my entire party. The ENTIRE STAFF was extremely nice. Food was delicious. I will definitely be back!!
The service at The Palm Houston continues to get worse each and every time we visit. The restaurant was not busy the night we arrived, yet it took almost 10 minutes for the waiter to stop at our table with menus and ask about drinks.
Now, in addition, the food appears to have slipped. Our clams casino were served topped with slightly undercooked bacon, the veal parmigiana was not served as requested with minimal cheese, asparagus were served underdone and the lobster was served lukewarm.
The Palm Houston appears to be a mere "shadow" of the Palms NYC and it is hard to think they are in the same chain!
Greeted warmly at the reception, attentive and friendly staff.
The Palm continues the tradition of a great steakhouse! Food is very good, but outstanding service from professional staff truly makes the difference!
The lobster was outstanding as usual!
The one negative is the service is not what it used to be.
Through the years we have dined there and we never had an empty glass or waited for anything.
The waitstaff was always professional and took their jobs very seriously.
The current staff seemed not to be up to the standards of the past. More like chili's servers.
But the food makes up for the lack luster service!
The wait staff was superb and the wine selection was terrific.
They accommodated all our requests with a smile and quick reaction.
Thank you for a great dinner with our client.
The service was extremely poor. We felt like we were bothering the waitstaff by being there. They accidentally delivered food that didn’t belong to our table and the server made a notable disgusted sigh when we informed him we didn’t order that food. I requested a dessert on the reservation as we were celebrating birthdays and that was ignored until we brought it up.
The food was incredible, but will not go back as we hate to feel like we aren’t as important as anyone else there.
Thank you. What a great lunch Service was excellent.
I had clients in from New Orleans and wanted to treat them to a nice experience. The Palm didn’t disappoint. Started outside on the patio for drinks then moved inside for the wonderful dinner with great service. My guests and I enjoyed our evening at The Palm, thank you.
I've been going to the PALM since about 1982...it was always the premier Steak & Lobster place...the service was always fantastic, the bar was a great place to meet clients...the Valet personel are the best and have been there year after year...Tino was my favorite server...when in NYC we always made a special trip down to 2nd ave to eat at the PALM...Nothing has changed...from my perspective, although in Houston there are great competition, the PALM is still the best!
The Caesar salad was great and the salmon addition was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the Lobster Bisque and thought it was overpriced. I wouldn't order soup here again. The service was excellent.
