Family of six for Thanksgiving dinner. First time at The Palm and sadly, will not be returning. The food was “meh” and our waitress was just.....absent. I would understand if it were busy because it WAS Thanksgiving but, it was NOT busy. Support staff was exceptional - water refills, clearing the table and boxing our leftovers - this was great. Our waitress didnt bring our food, sides were missing, didnt check to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Dessert came FORTY MINUTES after our plates were cleared and boxed and one dessert was missing. Dinner took nearly 4 hours. We watched other customers come and go long after we got there. What a mess :(
Went for boyfriends 21st birthday. Had a great time and they even gave us carrot cake! Wonderful service!
The hostess was not very friendly
My hometown Palm will not disappoint!
We had a private room for a work function and the service, drinks, and food were spectacular!
Food was excellent. We were not sure what to expect. My wife had a filet which was excellent. I had the chicken Parmesan which is one of the best I’ve ever had.
Prices have gone up again at The Palm and more items have an up charge. Used to be a value place for a power lunch, but not anymore. They still have the best waiter in town, Ali
This was my first time at the Palm, but I wasn’t overly impressed - especially with the numerous other steakhouses nearby (e.g., Elway’s, G&G, Cap Grille to name a few). The steak was fine, but not really worth the price. The salad was okay, but I asked for no anchovies and it came out with anchovies. I ordered a Diet Coke, it came out in an individual bottle, no one ever asked if I wanted another, etc. Overall = meh.
Setting, service and food all fantastic. One of my all time favorites in Denver . I’v been here 5-6 times and they never cease to amaze.
The folks at the Denver Palm treated us like family as we used to being treated in all Palms. We visit The Palm in each city we travel to. So far 16.
My parents have been members of the 837 club for several years. We went to the Palm with family to have a nice night out. The calamari came out way over done and stuck together. The waiter was often nowhere to be found and was very disengaged. For a $57 steak à la cart, I do think I’m entitled to expect a bit higher bar in terms of food and service. Too many restaurants are doing it better for less money and with better service.
Had a very nice dinner as always. Start with a delicious bowl of Lobster Bisque and followed it up with an excellent veal Chop, sans the ham and cheese. It was cooked just how I wanted it. I had the seasonal gnocchi on the side. It was good but kinda dry, needed more sauce. I took most of it home. With a little gravy, I will make it wonderful! I’ll give the evening a 9 out of 10. Not bad. I’ll be back soon!
Food was excellent, service was a little slow.
The food was very disappointing. Steaks were cold as well as the sides. Not a lot of flavor. The restaurant was not busy. Unfortunate for the Palm brand.
Everything from appetizers to dinner, sides and carrot cake was great! Service was friendly, quick and attentive. Highly recommend.
The off menu Bone-In filet was outstanding. Jumbo lump crab cakes were delicious. We started with the beaf-steak tomato and mozzarella caprese and the flavors were bursting. We finished with the creme brulee dessert. It was obviously fresh, custard was firm and not watery.
Also of note was the Palm's Old Fashioned cocktail. Complete with Luxardo cherry, this was an excellent cocktail to go along with an excellent meal.
Excellent meal and service.
Steven was an outstanding server. Attentive and definitely knew the menu and the wine list.
We love the Palm for business dinners, however, this time, the service was way too slow. Also, I ordered a bottle of wine and they brought a newer year. Restaurants like this should keep their wine lists up to date. I asked for a discount since the year was younger and the manager gave me $10 off, but did not deal with me directly- he used the (slow) waiter as a go-between and it took at least 10 minutes to get the answer as we all waited with empty glasses (turns out they were rummaging through the wine cellar looking for a bottle of the year that matched the wine list - but they came up short). The filet and sides were wonderful as always.
Brandy was my server and she did an excellent job. I left my debit card there after lunch and when I called the next day, they informed they kept it in a safe place. Thank you for your service and for securing my debit card.
9/11/19 at the Palm for both a business lunch and then a dinner. Outstanding as usual. Chicken sausage past was to die for and of course my filet that evening sent me home for a good sleep. Great service and personal attention. Go to the Palm if you want a great meal and service.
I loved my wife’s and my experience at the palm restaurant. This continues to be a classy joint with great food and awesome service..
Great meal and service !!!
Great business lunch meeting for our team. Exceptional food and service. Could not ask for anything better.
Kendall was a great server. Food was great as always!
Jacob was fantastic. Very attentive and on point with service. Cody who was his server helper person was also very personable and friendly.
Ali was our server and he’s the nicest man I’ve met around Downtown Lunch service. He’s a gem!
Very disappointed with The Palm Denver, I’ve been to several other Palms throughout the country and it was nowhere near this disappointing. It’s really horrible when the waitress asks you how your appetizer was and you let here know that the calamari you ordered was more (3 times) peppers than calamari, she responds by saying “yeah I noticed that”. Then doesn’t offer to correct it or try to make it right in some way, she just simply moves on. WOW!! Incredible!!
Heard of the Palm and how great it was. Well our waiter was really bad. I worked in fine dining for 15-years. Any manager I had would have fired him immediately. He dropped food and disappeared. Had to ask bus staff for most of what was needed. Won't be going back
Delicious from start to finish. I started with a wonderful Lobster Bisque. Next was a really well cooked NY Strip (med rare + Pittsburgh) with Lobster and Asparagus with hollandaise on the side. I splurged and had the Flourless Chocolate Torte for dessert. Perfect meal from start to finish!
The Palm is always great. I love the blackened New York steak salad. Service is delightful.
We had a nice quiet dinner.
My wife and I have enjoyed the Palm in Denver 2-3 times a year or so over the last 4-5 years. The experience has always been 5 star at this Palm until this last dinner. Our wait staff was great at keeping up with us but the food fell down on timeliness. - It was VERY slow. I understand in an upscale restaurant, it isn't a matter of throwing food out as fast as possible as there is more to preparing this kind of quality food - but this was extremely slow. I thought, the restaurant was extremely slow for a Saturday night and I could not see any reason the food was so delayed. As a loyal 837 Club member, I will give them another try as certainly this could have been a one-off. The steak and lobster was fabulous as usual.
I love the Palm, and it's basically my favorite steakhouse, but the quality I expect from the franchise was not what we experienced here. Steaks overcooked, hash browns cold and overly greasy, service slow and even the chocolate cake didn't taste the same, which has to be impossible, but somehow it wasn't.
Great food and great service at a good price. Lobster was superb!
This is without a doubt my favorite restaurant! Food, service, ambiance all unhooked!
My 4th time eating at a Palm and it was equally delicious.
After sitting in a tar-like substance on the outside patio in brand new white pants, I spent 20 minutes in the restroom trying to get it out. I requested that my guest that I was waiting for be advised and she was not. The service was the worst I’ve experienced and I’ve been plenty of times. Had to request the bread basket, pickles/radishes and more water (everyone around us was getting theirs and we were seated before any other guests). Then my entree was served and was incorrect. Manager offered to pay for my dry cleaning but drycleaners isn’t sure they can get them clean. Also compd my lunch but it was a very unpleasant experience all around.
Ali and the rest of the staff were very accommodating for our business dinner.
We celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful evening!
